We recently held our ceremony and reception in Miami. One of the best decisions we ever made was hiring Ted Knight as our musician. He is very versatile, easy to work with and has a wonderful personality. He was not expensive and was very tuned into our event and the atmosphere so he was able to meet our needs to a tee.

Ted has a great singing voice as well. I think he was perfect our ceremony and small reception. He'd be great at a rehearsal dinner, a cocktail party, an anniversary or birthday gathering as well. First rate. Jenifer Fox/Jeff Humphrey, Dallas

The music was very good and the band let us pick all the selections. We also had on the spot requests they did for my daughter's wedding. We were very pleased and recommend Mr. Kinght and his band highly. They always responded in a timely manner to all our planning questions and offered a choice of lead singers. Very professional and courteous.

We used Ted Knight for live ceremony music as well as for Dj services. We wanted The Beatles music for our ceremony and he was eager to accomodate us. The duet consited of Ted on key board and someone else on cello. The music was great. They played exactly what we requested and there were no problems at all. The Dj service was also good. We sent him a list of songs and he played songs that were on the list and took requests from our guests.

When I began looking for a band, our daughter asked that I involve her brother,Chris, in the selection of a band that would fit her taste of music. I researched online and narrowed my choices down to four and then two; one of the two, being the Ted Knight band. Chris agreed with me that the Ted Knight band was the best for us. We liked the fact that his band's repertoire was so extensive, that it covers musics from the 1940's to current music.
Our daughter, Deborah, lives in Spain, and currently is the Director of International Studies, at the University of Alcala, through the University of Alabama. When she told us that she and her then-fiance wanted to come home for their wedding this year, we were delighted. Since her new husband is Spanish and is still learning to speak English, we wanted him and his family and their friends to feel welcome in our country and feel at home during the wedding week. When Mr. Knight and I first met, I told him what their taste in music was, and then he began to ask me for suggestions of what kind of Spanish songs as well as American songs to play. The band learned how to play two of our favorites "Stars Fell on Alabama" and "Mobile", since we live in Gulf Shores, Alabama; and they played several popular songs from Spain. Our guests' ages ranged from very young (two and three year olds) to some in their young 70's and 80's! Everyone said they had not been to such a fun, lively party in some time: that the band really livened things up. Our Spanish young people loved dancing to songs they were familiar with, as well as some of our own contemporary music that they hear in Europe, as well.
Although the wedding was in August, the hottest month of the year in the Deep South, nobody seemed to mind dancing the night away!
The whole band is very talented and we would also very highly recommend their female vocalist, whose voice is outstanding.
Our daughter's wedding couldn't have been as perfect without the Ted Knight Smallest Big Band! (submitted by Lynne Whetstone, mother of the bride, Deborah Lynne Whetstone who married Ramon Cortes Sanchez on August 11, 2007)
