    Delicious and Beautiful

    Words don't do justice to the delicious wedding cake we ordered from A Sweet Memory. We went down in May to do a tasting with the husband's parents (they found it) and were able to try a variety of flavor profiles and combinations. We ended up with a marble swirl chocolate and vanilla cake, raspberry and chocolate filling with another filling in the layer, and buttercream frosting that was amazing. The design we provided images and they even confirmed the design the week before the wedding since we placed an order back in May. Delivery was seamless for our September 30th wedding. We even got to enjoy the leftovers the week after since we had several no-shows. It still was delicious! 10/10 recommend Sweet Memory and their team for any occasion but mainly if you are getting married on LBI do get your cake from there, we got so many compliments.

    Amazing Flavor & Texture!

    Amazing! I called, texted a picture of what we wanted + flavor choices and on our wedding day the cake showed up to absolute perfection. FLAVOR and TEXTURE is the callout here! The flavor & texture of the cake was so amazing and nothing I’d ever expect out of a wedding cake. I am so thrilled we chose A Sweet Memory!

    Best Cake Ever!!

    We were so lucky that A Sweet Memory works with Hotel LBI for their wedding cakes. We could not have been happier. It turned out better than we could have ever imagined and the guests just raved about it! The best part is that we get to go back on our one year anniversary to get a fresh one made just for us. We are already looking forward to it! Thank you so much for such an amazing job!

    Loved the Cake!!!!

    Delicious cake that I was so happy came with my venue at Hotel LBI for our wedding on September 18, 2021!! What’s really nice is that my husband and I get to go back to the shoppe itself to get our one year anniversary cake! So happy with this place, and the shop is always so nice and sweet

    Our Wedding Cake was just PERFECT!

    Thank you to Annmarie and her staff for the most delicious and beautiful cake I have ever had! Our cake was absolutely amazing and the cupcakes were the perfect touch to add some other flavors! Thank you again for everything!!! We can't wait for our year anniversary cake!!

    Beautiful and Tasty Wedding Cake

    We had our Wedding reception at the Holiday Inn, The Terrace, in Manahawkin, NJ. Their banquet cake vendor happened to be A Sweet Memory. Their address is a little different from what is listed on this site: 521 U.S. 9, Waretown, NJ 08758. They did a wonderful job! The cake was stunning!

    Annmarie was great! She was so fun to work with, all her treats were SOOO yummy which made making our decision to work with her very easy. The hard part was once we booked her, narrowing down what we actually picked for the wedding day! She was so accommodating, and made sure we didn't order too much for the day and end up with a ton of left overs to potentially get thrown out. Everything was not only very tasty, but very beautiful as well! We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a baker for ANY event!

    We had our cake and desserts made by Anne Marie. The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted delicious. The desserts were a huge hit. Everyone raved about the mini pies and elephant ears.

    Annmarie is the BEST - she created the sand castle cake of our dreams!! We had a beach themed wedding and our cake was one of the best parts!! Annmarie helped us design our entire cake, stay well within our budget, ordered our cake topper AND added a groom starfish and bride starfish at the bottom. All included!! The cake was also delicious!! We have received so many compliments on our cake :)

    A Sweet Memory made our wedding cake for our winter wonderland theme wedding. We met with Annmarie and a few other bakeries for cake testing and a consultation all on the same day. Annmarie was the only one who we felt really understood what we were envisioning for our wedding cake. She sat down with us and spoke with us, looked at pictures, and took notes of what we were wanting. It was an easy decision to choose them for our wedding cake.

    The day of the wedding the cake was delivered and both my husband and I were blown away! The cake was exactly what we were looking for in every way! The details were beautifully done. All of our guests took many pictures of the cake because of how gorgeous it turned out!

    As far as taste goes, it was delicious! We enjoyed every bit of that cake! I don't think we would have been as pleased with any of the other bakeries we went to see. A Sweet Memory Cake Shoppe did a great job! Thank you so much for making one of the most important details of our wedding so delicious and amazing!

    When we met with AnneMarie she immediately understood my vision and made great suggestion to make it all come together with a few subtle touches.

    Not only did our cupcake tower look beautiful, but I'm happy I ordered extra b/c so many people told me they couldn't help but come back for seconds!

    We used A Sweet Memory for our wedding cake and mini desserts. The cake looked fantastic! And the mini desserts were sooo good! I'd recommend them!

    All I can say about the desert and the cakes that Ann Marie and her staff provided for our wedding day is DAMN! If your getting married the custom donuts are a must have at the event. I have never heard so many people rave about donuts and the overall consensus was delicious. She will provide you great advice on the amount you will need that day and you can;t go wrong with doing a tasting. When she tells you that it doesn't hurt to have some extra she is not lying these deserts go fast. We were so pleased with how everything from the cheesecakes, donuts, cupcakes, elephant ears, and chip wiches tasted that day!!!

    The only thing I wish we would have done was save a plate for us to try more of the deserts that evening. By the time we made our way to them they had been devoured. Good thing she has a shop for us to stop by and try more of her great flavors ;)

    Horrible Overpriced

    What a pity, having lunch at a ruined Birthday party, at your establishment. The shame on the parents faces, as we waited over an hour for servce, even though we were the only people there. The high prices for cold tiny sandwiches and cold soup, dry and bland waffles. The embarrassment as the manager explained how staffing shortages were to blame. That was appallingly rude,. If you are not able to accommodate a party if 8, say so and cancel it. How dissapointed and dissatisfied the parents were to have a party there. At least. A refund should be given,with a apology.
