Albert is not only an artist but also a psychologist and a handyman. He predisposed us to trusting him even before the wedding day because he got to know us as people, encouraged us to contribute our own creative ideas for shooting, and allayed our fears about the wedding running smoothly, so that by the time we met with him on the wedding day, we already had an affinity for him.

Albert set the tone for the wedding day with his serene, supportive and unobtrusive demeanor when he showed up at the bridal suite to take photos of us getting ready. He put us instantly at ease by blending seamlessly into the environment as if he were part of the family. He delighted us with his practical knowledge of all aspects of bridal attire, from lacing up and bustling the wedding gown to offering suggestions on coordinating bridal jewelry to fixing my loosened earrings. Having Albert as a personal adviser and problem solver in moments of need was an unexpected bonus and a comforting gesture on his part.

Albert made the posing portion of the photographing process surprisingly effortless and fun for us, considering the fact that we are normally uncomfortable around a camera. He got around our reluctance by establishing intimacy and subtly focusing our attention in a way that would give him exactly what he wanted from us without us being aware of what that was until we saw the photos. Albert’s candid shots were even more mesmerizing because he managed to capture unforeseen moments and seemingly minute or inconsequential details that paradoxically ended up telling a story in a more powerful way than the obvious wedding scenes. His honest portrayal of the irony, humor, and the full range of emotions experienced on such an intense day made for a dynamic narrative.

Albert enhanced our wedding experience with his presence and his expertise, and we trust him unconditionally with documenting all of our special occasions in the future.

He captures both the beauty and humanity of people he photographs. His artistic eye and creativity allows him to find unique and lovely angles and backgrounds and to enhance the colors in the scenes. We couldn't be happier with his photos and the experience of having him for our wedding.

Listened to every word I said and captured exactly what we wanted. He and his assistant were so professional. Pics ready before I asked. All digital and burned to DVD for us. Reasonable price too. Used to be a fashion photographer in New York, so he knows what he's doing. Not typical wedding photographer stuff!

Albert was amazing! The entire time he made me and my wedding party feel as if we were so beautiful. We then received our photos 5 days after the wedding so we could relive those wonderful moments he captured so well. His artistic eye and ability to tell a story through his photographs are a few of the many reasons we chose him. In the end, he more than met our expectations. I wanted a journalistic style of wedding photography and Albert captured this! I believe that with his background in fashion photography, he is able to see through the lense a bride and groom's most beautiful moments. Don't be turned off by dramatic photos here. He is able to capture the simple moments you will cherish. He came before schedule and stayed a bit longer. He shoots all digital. He has an assistant who shoots with him during the ceremony to be sure to never miss a moment. We received a DVD of all our pictures two weeks after the wedding. Albert's demeanor is calming and reassuring with a quiet sense of confidence. Also he is not one of those photographers that pushes you to make a wedding album! He listens to what you want and understands lighting very well. A++++++!

Albert is professional, attentive, and imaginative with the camera. He was able to capture the emotion and mood of the wedding, from our moving and touching service to the joyous and fun reception. Albert captured the vibrant fall colors, reaction shots, close-ups and I love the fish-eye photographs! The album that Albert created is gorgeous and he was able to tell the story of the wedding from start to finish.

All around great. Of all the vendors you hire for your wedding, he was the only one I didn't worry about for one second. He was self-sufficient and mellow...exactly what my husband and I wanted. Plus, our photos and album all turned out beautiful.

It was a pleasure to work with Albert, he was the photographer at my sister's wedding a few years ago and we were very impressed with his work. Working with Albert was like being with a family member, I felt very lucky to have him take a part in my wedding day.

Albert Postel is one of the most gifted and talented photographers. So many of the memories from our wedding day live on in his photos, and to this day I continue to savor the beauty of the album he helped us create.

Beyond his talent, Albert is also one of the most professional and warm individuals I have ever met. His personality was a perfect fit to my day, and having him there only added to my wonderful experience of the day.

Albert was our photographer for our October wedding. We really enjoyed working with him! From the start he was very responsive, listened to our wants and concerns, and addressed all of them. He's very professional, was early to the venue, and was good about getting all the shots we asked him for. He was great to work with and I highly recommend him!

Albert could not make getting married any easier or more enjoyable. It felt like it was me, my fiance, and Albert. He made the entire day go smoothly, directed everyone where they needed to be, made sure everyone was at ease, took AMAZING photos, and did it all with a fantastic attitude and smile.

We couldn't have been any happier with Albert. He's easy going, flexible, understanding, calming, and talented. He understood what we were looking for and he made it so easy. I wouldn't use any other photographer and I know we will always use him for all our future occasions.

We found Albert after looking for a local photographer on some wedding sites. We were really impressed with his website and liked the style of the pictures from previous weddings. We found him very friendly and knowledgeable as we discussed the various options around taking the wedding photos and how best to create the albums afterwards.
We did an engagement shoot a few months prior to wedding and some of the pictures taken are among the favorites ever taken of us. Albert made us both feel very comfortable and he knew how to get the best shots, especially if you aren’t a natural in front of the camera.
On the wedding day itself, Albert and his assistant were with us for the majority of the day, whilst getting ready as well as throughout the ceremony and most of the reception. Both took some amazing pictures and really captured the spirit of the day as we hoped.
It was only a couple of days after the wedding that Albert sent us the selection of best pictures to review for our album – over 1,200 in all! The only minor problem we had is that Albert is not as clear on the business side of his work as needed. We did not know how many pictures we should select to make up the album, and it was only after we selected too many did he tell us we should be looking for around 50 for a 20 page album.
All in all I would happily recommend Albert to anyone looking for an amazing wedding photographer. He was quite expensive, but we felt that having good wedding pictures was worth the investment.
