    Stunning Venue, Awesome Team & Service

    If you are looking for an all in one wedding venue, book American Beauty! We knew we would have many guests staying over night and to have our getting ready rooms, the ceremony, reception, and hotel in the same location helped make our day go so smoothly. This venue does not feel like you are in a hotel. The Glass House is absolutely stunning and the American Beauty venue itself is on it's own floor which is separate from the rest of the hotel. The food is made by the same chef at the hotel restaurant "Grain & Cane" - it is not your typical "wedding food". High quality dishes that all of our guests raved about. The Grain and Cane bar made for an awesome after party as well. This team definitely knows what they are doing. We worked with Ladd for day of coordination and he was extremely professional and really helped make our day go seamlessly. Prince, Patty and the entire banquet team- 1000/10. Patty was our maitre'd and all we can say is WOW. We didn’t have to worry about a thing because Patty anticipated and dealt with everything!! So professional and really catered to our every need. She really made for a stress free wedding day. This venue really far surpassed our exceptions. Highly recommend

    Thankful beyond words - incredible!

    I don’t even know where to begin with the Embassy Suites and Danielle, Don, and their team. Just WOW. I mean it’s absolutely beautiful and the food is DELICIOUS of course, but it’s far more than that. We’re right at our first anniversary and we are so grateful every day for everything they have done for us, and our family consistently gushes over them as well. We got married the first weekend of Feb 2021 – right at the height of constant COVID restriction changes and daily uncertainty. From the beginning, they were accommodating, flexible, over-communicative in the best way, and there for our every need. Months out, we were making plans A B and C. Danielle and Don were both so quick to get back to our every question, were honest about what they could and could not do, and most importantly to us, upheld every single COVID safety guideline so that we could feel comfortable and confident moving forward with our wedding despite the alterations to the day. They are beyond amazing. And the event staff! The WHOLE team got invested in our day – they were right there when we needed something, and made everything feel like magic. The coordination was impeccable, they had fun with us during our teeny tiny two 10-person dinner rooms, and transitioned everything seamlessly. We felt like they treated us like royalty with dinner service, accommodations, packing up all of our stuff, and even setting up a special treat in our room at the end of the night. Everything was just suddenly done for us, and there are no words that could ever express the immense level of gratefulness we feel for the entire team. Thanks to them, our COVID wedding actually felt like it was truly meant to be that way, and that is no small feat. So much love and appreciation for their hard work.

    Amazing Venue, Team, Service

    We had our intimate wedding of 75 guests at the Embassy Suites this past Saturday. Still basking in the post event high! I plan corporate events for a living at a Fortune 1 so was very particular about the venue we selected, and have plenty of experience dealing with both venues and vendors. I promise that this team is A+ in responsiveness, attention to detail and service.

    All of the hotel staff were lovely including the front desk. Special shout out to Danielle who was always quick to answer my very detailed questions leading up to the event, our maitre d' Prince and back of house bridal attendant Sonia who kept the events of the evening on track, and our bridal attendant Patty who was truly the MVP that evening (we loved her), always making sure we had a drink in hand and plate full of food. Speaking of food, both cocktail hour appetizers and dinner were delicious (we were told by many guests) and service super smooth and on time.

    We had our ceremony and reception in the Crescent Solarium and the room looked absolutely GORGEOUS for both; they expertly flipped the room for dinner in an hour during cocktail hour which was set up outside the Solarium in their grand hallway. I asked Danielle multiple times whether a day of coordinator would be necessary and she confidently told me no, the hotel staff would handle everything and she was right.

    We also hosted our room block here and all our guests commented how beautiful the guest suites were. It made it so easy to have all our events (getting ready, ceremony, cocktail, reception, after party) on site along with the room block. No shuttle or traveling between locations needed!

    I highly recommend this venue. The team here made it so special for us and I wouldn't hesitate to host another event here or recommend to everyone. Thank you team for treating us so well we love you guys! xoxo

    Beautiful venue & Amazing team in place

    Embassy Suites BH is a beautiful event space. The ballroom is modern & new, the solarium beyond gorgeous & in addition, the food is delicious & events team fabulous from planning to party. Danielle Marck, Director of Event Sales, is terrific. She's responsive, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Day of Event team, led by Prince, is equally as fabulous. Highly recommend this venue!

    Beautiful "one stop shop" venue.

    Got married here on July 6, 2019. Believe it or not my husband and I selected this venue before it was fully built.. not kidding we did a tour of the hotel in hard hats. We thought it was very special to be one of the first couples to have our wedding in this beautiful event space and sort of watch it be built before our eyes. The all glass solarium is a dream. We toured many venues but they all seemed very basic and almost like "Wedding factories" with some hosting up to 3 weddings a day. We loved that it is part of Embassy Suites because guess what? our guests didn't have to worry getting on a shuttle anywhere- all they had to do was go to their rooms, or stay for the after party at the restaurant bar. We received a lot of feedback from our guests that they loved that everything was in one spot. We planned for the ceremony to take place outside in the grove, but unfortunately it rained and the team at American Beauty set up one of the ballrooms in what felt like 5 minutes. Luckily we were able to take our first look photos in the beautiful park right on site.
    Remember how I mentioned it was a one-stop shop? Catering is included in the package! You don't have to worry about finding an extra vendor to cater or a vendor to rent chairs and tables. We came for a tasting and met with the chef and selected our menu from there. Everything was professional and on the day of, the catering team hit it out the park. Patricia (I thick that was her name) literally took my husband and I by the hand, gave us a drink, brought us to a private room with a feast of food just for us. It was so special to have that time alone to make sure we ate something before going back out and spending time with our guests. Honestly every moment of our time there was beautiful and I would have my wedding there over and over again instead of any other "wedding factory."

    A Great Celebration!

    Embassy Suites did a great job from start to finish with our daughter's Bat Mitzvah celebration. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The American Beauty Ballroom looked fantastic and we loved having the cocktail hour in the solarium.

    Wedding Reception

    We had an absolutely amazing wedding at American Beauty at Embassy Suites in Berkeley Heights! Rebecca was extremely helpful in creating a vision that we were so happy with. We had a cocktail style reception that was personally overseen by the resident chef. So many of our guests raved about the food and signature cocktail created by the mixologist. We were taken care of from the minute we arrived from our ceremony to when we departed the next day. The friendly and efficient staff made for a seamless event and we are truly grateful for their hard work. This venue exceeded our expectations and more!

    Amazing Venue - Check it out!!!

    I had my son's Bar Mitzvah at American Beauty. Don't let the generic "American Beauty" name or the Embassy Suites keep you away. This is a first-rate venue - large ballroom with high ceilings, modern decor, fixtures etc. Honestly , very upscale and not at all what i would think when hearing Embassy Suites. They have a gorgeous glass atrium which i used for my cocktail hour but would be amazing for a wedding ceremony as well. The food was great and they were very flexible in tailoring the menu to accomodate my requests. Danielle and her entire team as well as the chef were a pleasure to work with and helped make the party a success. They had some outdoor fire pits that I would have loved to use but it was just too cold. This was the third bar mitzvah I planned and was probably the easiest. I'm just a little disappointed I don't have another event to plan there right now. I highly recommend this venue.

    Good service, food and experience.

    Last night was a spectacular evening for our 380 person event and the Embassy Suites did a wonderful job to help us make it happen. Congrats! A few quick mentions, thank you Chef Sabo, Prince, Patty, Sonia and Q. The night went very smoothly because of you all and your staffs. Prompt, attentive, friendly. Danielle was fabulous to work with. Thank you for making that happen.

    My wedding

    It took me a bit to collect my thoughts and write this. I want to start with that I was the fifth wedding at this new venue. I’ll get straight to it and Iam only posting this review so no bride has to endure what I went through. The only good point about this venue is the embassy suites hotel is stunning , they really did such a great job with it. The rooms are stylish and really big (except for the “bridal suite” which is actually just a regular suite, nice looking but not big at all). The park is really nice and for brides who choose to get married there, (I didn’t) looks like it would be really nice. I booked this venue site unseen and was promised a fairy tale but was given a nightmare. Throughout the whole process our American beauty event planner did not keep In contact with us at all. We were always reaching out to her to find out what the status of the venue was, when we could see it finished etc. when it was finally finished we didn’t even get a call from her to let us know we just happened to take a drive past. Our taste testing was really good, the presentation was impeccable and the food was so good... to bad we didn’t get that the day of our wedding. They did go through a lot of management changes once the owner passed away. Day of wedding I didn’t see our planner at all, thinking everything that we discussed and signed off on would be in good hands I arrived at our cocktail hour only to find out our private room was not moved to another room because they booked a party and the other room across from the ballroom now also had some kind of party. Hotel guest with luggage were casually walking through my cocktail hour because there is a back entrance and was not closed off.. random guest of the hotel were just taking tours around the ballroom. We were told when signing that We would be the ONLY event going on that day. And That there would be staff making sure non guests were not able to enter or exit where the cocktail hour was. Also the map of the layout we had planned was completely scratched, my photo booth was in a corner of the ballroom when it was supposed to be outside of it and all my special tables were crammed into the one side so not everyone was able to sign the guest book. The food we were supposed to have was replaced behind our backs and my mom was so busy putting out fires that she missed the cake ceremony. The bar ran out of vodka even though we paid for too shelf liquor open bar. These are just a few of many things that went wrong and I could literally write a book on all the things we were promised and was not delivered. It’s heart wrenching that you work so hard to plan a perfect wedding and have a vision in your head and your excited only to be crying hysterically the next day. This is a once in a lifetime event and it should be handled appropriately. This was not at all. Which really sucked. Even though our guests said they had a good time, it is definitely something we will never forget. So for the hotel I give an B. American beauty gets a hard 0
