    No regrets with this beautiful venue!

    We are so beyond thankful & happy we decided to go with American Royal Palace for our wedding celebration!
    Mark has been hands on and helpful no matter the time of day, length of texts or number of times I’ve reached out. They were very flexible with just about everything we wanted and even allowed us to bring in our own food on top of the food they provided for us.
    The venue itself if gorgeous with a beautiful lobby, we got lucky and didn’t have to share the lobby with any other event but had that been the case there is definitely room for it. They provide decor so it’s one less thing you have to think of which I truly loved.
    The bartender was quick and in such a good mood it made going to the bar an even better experience!
    The wait staff was quick to refill our buffet table as needed and made sure there was food available to all our guests throughout the night.

    We had our wedding at this Venue on 10/1/2016 and it was just BEAUTIFUL. Linda and her husband helped us from beginning to end and we just loved how Amazing they are. The day of our wedding they made sure we were relaxed and happy and just enjoying our wedding. Their staff was great. And the hall looked so beautiful.. Decorations were amazing and our head table OMG was like if it was taken out of a Magazine. It was truly my dream wedding. All of our guest loved the venue and one even told me its a hidden treasure in Phoenix lol we got the three halls because you have different package options and you can pick one two or even all three rooms which we did.. We had about 600 guest and everything was just Wonderful.. It comes with music, sodas, decoration, bar tender, security, cake, photo and video, cleaning after.. And more.. You won't regret going for this Venue TRUST ME !!

    American Banquet Hall was pretty good. There were a few contract discrepancies but they manager honored it. They were attentive and went above and beyond. Friendly staff.

    American Royal palace is a beatiful venue for any occasion. They were very affordable and had different packages for different needs. We were very happy to have found them and to have worked with such friendly people.

    Unprofessional and customer service lacking

    My fiance and I booked our wedding at this venue, paid it off in full and things went downhill from there. Covid came and we were forced to change our wedding date. With arizona becoming a hot spot and how everything was happening, unfortunately we decided to cancel our wedding, thinking about our family and guests. These people are very bad about answering phone calls or even returning calls. When we finally got ahold of them, we set up a meeting with "Mark" who we never saw or talked to. The meeting went downhill very fast. I had no issue paying the $500 cancelation fee, not only did they take that money but on top of that they took 25% of our gross amount. They could never justify taking it, I asked them numerous times to justify what they are taking that money for, when I no longer wanted their services. On top of everything they said as a business they had no money to pay me out and that they would need 2-3 months. My fiance walked out the meeting in tears and very upset, when both mark and his father started getting loud and very unprofessional. They sure as hell loved taking our money but when it came to getting our money back, they didn't have it and became very nasty and unprofessional. In the end they took the $500 plus 25% of the gross we paid, and said $1k can be used as credit if we wanted to do business with them again. THEY WILL NEVER SEE A DOLLAR OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY EVER AGAIN. With this management and leadership I dont see this place lasting long, after people start seeing their true colors. In the end I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WITH SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE LACKING INDIVIDUALS. THEY DESERVE NEGATIVE STARTS.

    Hi Jasmin, thank you for taking the time to write us a review. I'm sorry this has happened, and that your expectations were not met. We appreciate your feedback and have discussed with the managing team that they will make sure that our current and future clients fully understand our event terms and policies, especially during these unprecedented times.

    In your review, you stated that we collected the full 25%, which is entirely false. Not only did we decrease the gross balance fee in your situation, but we also offered to reschedule your December 2020 event indefinitely on any date as long as it's available and could've been rescheduled multiple times over at no cost. From our understanding, you did not want to host the event and elected to cancel your event completely rather than reschedule. Our contract states a $500 cancellation fee plus 25% of the gross balance fee for any occasion to cancel. While we agreed these times are uncertain for everyone, we are not in a position currently to waive those cancellation fees.

    In terms of justifying such fees, it's standard practice at all venues for a cancellation fee that progressively increases the closer it gets to the event date. We think our cancellation terms and our approach in your situation are justified because they make up for lost dates/services. And we will still honor any funds for a future date if a reschedule were to occur.

    In regards to the meeting getting loud and very unprofessional, that's just plain false. We respectfully invited you into our office and discussed the whole situation to come up with a resolution. COVID has shaken up our business, but our clients are still our number one priority, and we strive to do the best we can even in times of uncertainty.
