Andrea and her team will take your dreams and make them your reality. We all have to start somewhere when planning an event and the best place to start is with Anchor Events.

Anchor Events is owned and operated by Andrea Bourque, a native Rhode Islander. Andrea is a member of the International Association of Wedding and Event Professionals and a certified professional wedding planner by the IAOTS. Andrea started out in special events at a very young age. Her mother Nancy ran the special events for Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Andrea was involved in The Rhode Island Festival of Children’s Books and Authors as well as the famous Storybook Ball. From stuffing invitations to designing a table around a child’s book Andrea always kept her eyes and ears wide open to learn all that she could about this amazing industry. Andrea has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Salve Regina University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is also a graduate of St. Mary Academy Bay View. Andrea has planned events ranging from a carnival wedding to a Wizard of Oz themed baby shower. Her knowledge and organization will take any event to the next level.
