  We booked this caterer for our wedding after a bad situation with another caterer. He came recommend from my planner. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with his food or his level of professionalism. The contract we signed said that the final payment was due one week before the date of the event. I was prepared to make the payment using a personal check ( checks are the only form of payment this vendor accepts, which I think is archaic). At that point, he proceeds to tell me that he requires a certified check because the payment is one week before the event.

  Appeal Caterers's reply:

  Unfortunately this client had a poor experience with us and we deeply regret any miscommunication. Appeal Caterers did not force this event to start an hour late!! Everything has a cost and even though certain services were not paid for we still provided with them.
