    April makes it all happen. It's an awesome feeling to know that even when you run out of time, the party will happen just as you want it to with April running the event. April attends to all of the details, goes above and beyond with her own creative ideas, and is one of the hardest, fastest workers I've seen.

    April and her staff did an incredible job planning and executing our daughter's Baptism. We had approximately 100 guests and a limited budget and April's creativity provided a very elegant party in my backyard. We had a conversation about last minute details the day before the party and April ended the conversation by saying, "My goal for the day is for you to do absolutely nothing but enjoy yourself." And I did. I felt like a guest in my own home. The staging of the food/cakes/wine was magazine worthy. She saved me so much money and created something more beautiful than I would have. And to top it all off, when I complimented her on all of her hard work she said, "I just love a good party!" with a gracious smile.

    As the mother of the groom, it was my first experience with a wedding planner. Because of the distance, April helped me with my event, which was the rehearsal dinner. April was amazing...she was always upbeat and to the point; requests were handled very quickly. She handled all our car services which is huge in NYC! At the wedding and reception, she was great with the little ones; extremely intuitive with her ability to anticipate everyone's needs even before they knew they had one, and I can't imagine how it could have gone so well without her. April Shreck is truly a treasure and shines at her vocation!

    If you want to RELAX and ENJOY your event, HIRE APRIL! My only mistake was not hiring her in the beginning of the event, I hired her half way through the planning. I didn't understand fully how much thought, time and energy planning a huge event took! She took all the stress of follow up, payments, finding vendors, handling stressful situations, off of my back and my family as well. I worry by nature, but my wedding day was PERFECT. I married the man of my dreams but besides that everyone warned me SOMETHING will go wrong. Well, with strategic planning and preparedness for anything- nothing went wrong!!! And if it did, no one knew about it. Aprils attitude is nothing short of hugely optimistic and I love her!!

    April coordinated an Oktoberfest party for 150 people a week ago. While it wasn't a wedding, I kept saying, "I would love it if my wedding reception was like this!". She was meticulous with details, creating a fun, joyous vibe that overflowed to the guests at the party. When we met to plan the party, she was efficient and found the best deals on the tent/tables/barware/etc. In the past, I have planned the Oktoberfest party myself and April was able to spend roughly the same amount of money as I had but the quality of the party and decor was in a different league. Once it was all put together, we felt like the tent was lacking a little pop so she went to the field nearby, cut some wildflowers and added them to the tables and it looked so chic. That's what she does--sees a need and comes up with a solution. And all before the guests arrived!

    I used April as a day of coordinator. She is AMAZING!!! We meet 2 weeks before the wedding and I basically handed her my wedding tied up in a bow and she took it and made sure it was executed exactly as I had in my head! She made my day so relaxed and stress free. She contacted all the vendors and made sure that they call her with all questions and problems, she set up my venue and made sure every last detail was perfect. It was very nice to only have to tell one person my vision and not have to explain it to all these different people or vendors. Her personality is perfect for her business. She is the sweetest person you will ever meet, but her sweetness absolutely does not affect how she kicks-ass. She has a way of telling someone what to do or what they are doing wrong and they still walk away with a smile on their face. I got a compliment from my vendors how pleasant she was to work with. I love April and me and my new husband are forever grateful for what she has done for us!

    April was amazing!!! I was a Bridesmaid in my neighbor's wedding, April was phenominal! She was attentive to EVERY need, she had a great sense of humor, she was just "one of the girls" I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone planning an event!!!

    April was an unbelievable asset to our wedding. She is detail oriented, in control, and extremely organized. She makes everything run smoothly and allows you to relax and enjoy your celebration. Highly recommend her services!

    April saved the day as my Day-of-Coordinator for our Upstate New York wedding. From day one of planning April quickly took charge and connected me with an absolutely phenomenal photographer. Her expertise and connections in the area are unending. If she doesn't know the answer she will sure find it!!

    She came to my family's lake-house as the bridal party was getting dressed, coordinated my tardy bridesmaids, managed the time and photographer's schedule, checked in with me about personal needs and managed to remain cool and collected. She also managed to hop into the limo before I went down the isle, calmed my nerves, smoothed my veil and train and sent me on my way with a smile.

    The entire time April was helping with the wedding she was cheery, professional and thorough. She even helped keep our two moody 9 year old junior-bridesmaids smiling through out all of the photos! I am sure there must have been details that went wrong through out the day but I sure didn't see any of them, thanks to April. April handles crisis management with composure and poise! I would absolutely recommend her to a friend who is in need of a planner!

    I never want to throw a party without April again. She is the fastest worker I've ever seen, and she really seems to thrive under party pressure. From the moment she came on board in planning my party, I felt immediately more confident - as though I knew no matter what might try to go wrong, April would take care of it. If you're looking for a hard working, creative, fun event coordinator, stop your search - April is the best!

    April helped plan my graduation party for 100+ people. Outdoors with a tent and dance floor. She brought the beauty and fun to the party. Worked many hours to prep and was there on the day-of to finish all the fine details. Her creativity calms any stressful situation!

    We fell in love with April on first meeting! But here's our story in case it's helpful.

    We were using the same planner that my sister had used for her wedding. That planner did a good job for my sister, but apparently decided that she would barely show up for our wedding! Crazy, so I was talking to some family about how unhappy I was with the planner we'd hired and wishing we had found April before booking the other planner. :( They (the family) insisted that we get her on the phone and get her involved. We just dumped everything on April and she didn't flinch! It was soo amazing to just be able to relax and really be confident it would be flawless.

    Two things that stood out about her approach:

    1. She just handles it - you'll never know anything is on the fritz. She comes to you with solutions, not problems. She also doesn't need anything spelled out - I think this comes from her experience in general, but also from her temperment. She simply doesn't get frazzled.

    2. She plays REALLY well with others! We've been to events & weddings, during which the planner is the diva of the night. The planner makes it more about how they are running the show than just running it. All of our vendors raved about how much they loved working with her (and she hadn't worked with any of them before - out of town wedding). The feedback they gave us: "She's awesome! She just knew how to make us better at our own job!" "She wasn't afraid to get dirty to get something done." "Super creative." And our favorite: "She was great - she didn't do that annoying thing, where the planner tries to change something at the last minute to prove he or she is in charge over us."

    We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her in a heartbeat! I can't imagine a bride planning her wedding day without that peace of mind...THANKS APRIL!

    April was a lifesaver for our wedding -- she stepped in and filled the gap between what we had planned and what we needed for our day-of services. She has the experience to remember details that we might have completely forgotten. She knows her stuff, she's fun and easygoing, and she'll go the extra mile for you. We love her and would recommend her to any of our friends.

    As a Catholic priest I am attentive to the details of weddings. These details being social, spiritual, and technical in nature. I found Ms. Schreck to be thorough, efficient, respectful, and non-intrusive. Working with her made the wedding successful and a pleasant celebration.

    I had asked April as a friend to help direct everything on our wedding day, just so I didn't have to think about it. She did so much more than I expected! She was on top of every detail and took care of the little hiccups in the day. Including a family of ten that showed up who's response was lost in the mail! April is very friendly and very hard working. I would recommend her to anyone as their wedding planner.

    April was a joy to work with. She was organized, on top of the details, and willing to work with our time schedules in the event planning stage. The week leading to the day of the wedding she contacted all our vendors to give them the run down of the event and let them know when and where to arrive and what their schedules would be. We are so grateful we had April the day of our wedding. After months of planning we wanted to show up at our wedding and enjoy it without wondering if vendors were missing or deliveries were late. Thanks to April she was on top of it all and we enjoyed our night without any concerns. She went above and beyond her promised service of creating our vision. Thank you April!
