  Cannot say enough good things about Iris and Austin's Bakery. We really enjoyed our tasting session with her before we selected her as our cake maker. We could not have been more happy with the end result at our wedding. She came up with a great design and presentation and don't think you can go wrong with any flavor that she offers. After picking our cake, we gave her the layout for the reception and she took care of the rest with any other necessary instruction/help from us. She definitely knows her stuff. We chose almond, chocolate and strawberry and all were excellent!

  Our wedding was at the Holiday Inn Center City in Charlotte on September 25, 2010. Iris was on our preferred vendor list for the wedding cake. Upon meeting with Iris and sampling her cake, my search was OVER! (I knew I didn't want fondant icing and she doesn't do it!) Her cake was so moist, fresh and delicious! We choose the almond buttercream and french vanilla cakes. Our anniversary tier is red velvet! But everything is delicious, you can't go wrong! Everyone was raving about our wedding cake! Thank you Iris for making our wedding day perfect!

  I used Austin's Bakery and Design for a 50th Birthday Party, but used a 3 Tier (wedding) cake. The cake was beautiful! She also made a sheet cake and it was beautiful as well. I was so impressed with my overall service. She was very professional! The cake was extremely good!!! And the presentation was amazing. I wasn't even at the venue when she set up and when I came in and saw those cakes I was blown away! I will defiantly use Ms. Austin again in the future!

  Iris is an amazing person and her cakes are totally awesome and delicious!!!!! My family HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who needs a baker for any event!!!
