I cannot say enough good things about working with Jennifer from Beck and Call Photography for my wedding. She was there from beginning to end and took such amazing photos. She really captured everything. She had great ideas for poses and candid shots. She also was really helpful with day of things for my wedding and helped us coordinate even though that wasn't her job. My train ripped and Jennifer was there to pin it up. She was amazing to work with and I would highly recommend her for your wedding or any event. We are so pleased with all the pictures we have seen so far and how quickly she gets them posted.

Beck and Call Photography is dedicated to serving our clients in several unique ways. The first is our commitment to the code of photojournalism. The idea behind this is to capture the story without becoming the story. What I strive to do is keep the wedding day focus on the bride and groom without turning it into a production for the sake of great images. It is my philosophy that great images are inevitable if you watch, listen and record what is actually taking place. I don't write the story, just record it as it takes place. Because this is a wedding, posed images are necessary and actually one of my favorite parts of the day, but are limited to a specified time during the wedding day. I also believe that the wedding story isn't just about the vows or the cake cutting etc, it's about the entire day, and I can't tell the story without a beginning and an end, so all of our packages are unlimited hours, from beginning to the end of the reception. Our turn around time on albums is phenomenal and our dedication to award winning images far surpasses the norm. I look forward to speaking with each of you, and together we can determine whether my style is right for your vision. After having this photographer do our engagement photo shoot and seeing the pictures, we decided to go with another photographer. The pictures were amature. There were pictures with her shadow cast on us. We were very unhappy and didn't even accept the engagement pictures she took. We walked away from our deposit. Don't be fooled by her personality. Her work is nothing like that. She relies on Photoshop to edit her pictures.

Beck and Call Photography responded with the following comments:
On rare occasions customers see themselves in a picture that is different from the way they see themselves in every day life. Unfortunately I can't do much about that. I'm Sorry that this customer didn't like what she saw in her portraits, and I do strive to make sure that the customer walks away feeling good about themselves, but sometimes nothing I do is going to fix what they see. I received an email from the customer after the photoshoot, and while I won't share her exact words, she made it clear that it was not my photography that was the problem. Rather, she did not feel comfortable in her own skin (or with her current weight). Although many poses were done, different angles were used, and I offered to whittle away some of the excess weight using photoshop, the bride had already concluded that because what she wore on that day wasn't flattering, that nothing would be able to save the pictures. She tried to get her deposit back through the BBB even though the contract was very clear on the fact that deposits are non refundable, and they informed her that not being happy with one's weight in the pictures was not breach of contract.
