I had the pleasure of working with Bridgewater Place on an event recently and had a great experience. The room set up and decor was absolutely perfect! They have a fantastic selection of linens and table decor that made our event stand out and look extremely well put together. Many of our 100+ guests commented on how nice it looked. Brenda and Joei were my main contacts and they were great to work with! They are incredibly organized, on point and so friendly. Their customer service was awesome! We also had a buffet lunch provided by Chef Terry and her team. It was great spread of food and really delicious! The only thing that went array during our event was an a/v glitch that was truly out of anyone's control. Bridgewater staff did everything in their power to manage the glitch and keep the show going. I recommend Bridgewater and believe that they have a great team that will make any event a success! -

starting with the first day that we went to Bridgewater place to take a tour until the day of our wedding the entire staff at Bridgewater was exceptional
!!!! We had visited other venues and had planned our wedding at another venue and it became very complicated 45 days before our wedding date. The moment we met Megan Dunlap , Dave and I both knew immediately that Bridgewater place was where we would be having our wedding!!!! Megan immediately clamed me with her reassurance and confidence that we could pull this together and she and Kate along with chef Shawn and JR. and entire staff made our wedding day the most amazing memorable day ever!!!! From the rehearsal the day before our wedding to the day of our wedding they made sure that Dave and I had everything we needed . The reception dinner was perfect all of our guest made the same comment to us that the venue was beautiful the staff was very helpful and the food was fabulous. We would and already recommended Bridgewater place for any event and will use them again -

This event we actually sponsored for an organization that helps visually impaired persons. We had two speakers for this event. The feedback that we got from them and everyone in attendance is that it was a very nice venue, very easy access for the impaired persons.
Overall our experience with this event was great. -

Let me preface my review with stating that my event was not a wedding, but rather a dinner reception for my business. With that being said, I wanted to write a review for the Bridgewater Place because they were fantastic! Megan, their Event Designer went above and beyond with making sure our event was handled efficiently and smoothly. The venue was set up exactly as we had discussed. They were flexible and easy to work with. Sean, the Sou Chef, was fantastic; making sure we had everything we needed and going above and beyond with the smallest details.
I highly recommend having your event at Bridgewater Place. It is beautiful and the staff are the best. -

My friends and I hosted a baby shower at Bridgewater Place. The compliments we received about Bridgewater were great! Everyone loved the easy accessibility to the venue as well as the space the baby shower was held in. Courtney was awesome! She helped us in any way and went above and beyond when we were running behind. At one point we were scrambling to get everything setup and she was there with us helping! I would highly recommend Bridgewater to anyone and if Courtney is your planner you are in great hands! -

I was married at this venue a few days ago and it was unbelievable! The staff was on point and extremely helpful. Very professional and beautifully decorated as well. We had a wonderful experience and no hang ups or issues whatsoever. My bridal experience was excellent! Everything just flowed smoothly, it was stress free and a total fairytale! I would recommend this venue to anyone especially because of the caring and supportive staff! They really know what they are doing and help to make it a memorable experience! We are so happy with our choice to go with this venue! They went above and beyond for us and made sure we had an exceptional experience! -

I am the director of a local beauty pageant and I have hosted a pageant every month starting in April at this venue. This is the nicest venue in Knoxville and the staff is a pleasure to work with. We will continue to use this venue. The staff of Bridgewater Place offers a quality of customer service you just can't find these days. -

The only issue was the lack of air conditioning in the dining area . . . it was extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant thus many of our staff who were in attendance opted not to take lunch in this area or interact socially with fellow staff as a result. Although an apology was issued, it would have been nice if the charges had been adjusted for the inconvenience and loss of use. -

Beautiful venue and supportive and friendly staff!!! My fiancé and I wanted to have a modern, traditional wedding but without the church. Bridgewater Place was perfect for us and our budget! Its Knoxville's hidden secret since its new and they don't advertise much but once we were in the building I knew it was the place for our wedding. The Henley was perfect for our ceremony. I loved that Drea and Stacie were very informative, they listened to me and weighed in special ways to add my husband's interest into shared ideas and Pinterest screenshots. I really liked and appreciated the all inclusive concept because of our schedules. The building was clean and modern. Food was great! Cake was good and moist, there could have been more design options. But the decor in the Kingston Ballroom was what made my day special to me, it was illuminating and fairytailish. Drea's suggestions of two toned lights and linens for great photos were what I had asked for without asking. All in all, a great experience!
We are very happy with the experience and our guested seemed to be too. If I had a negative comment it would be the understanding of the use of a bar and the need for some form of food once the bar was opened. It wasn't a big issue just confusing to me. But we enjoyed the bartender, he remembered our drinks and kept us happy. The serving staff was nice too.
A nice touch to our night was the unexpected but very appreciated honeymoon to go box of our food because we didn't have time to eat, it was thoughtful. All in all, Bridgewater Place is a great wedding venue. We loved it!! -

Over all your facility and service was very good. This was our first venue at your facility and required making adjustments on our part. The only negative was the smell of polyurethane in the auditorium which caused some breathing problems for some delegates. I understand that some left after the first day because of the fumes. I also would like to have an itemized statement of times and rates for the over charges for my record. Also I was unaware of damages to a door. We are still waiting for the repair charge to the Auditorium floor. -

We had a unique arrangement as you work to complete your building modifications, liquor license, etc. but everything went well and we had a great event. Courtney was very helpful and flexible with our requests and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely consider another event at Bridgewater Place and appreciate the kind staff who did a nice job for us. Thank you! -

*Beautiful room
*Big food shortage...About 1/3 of the people went through the line and then the food was gone. Food was finally prepared and brought for everyone else but the menu had to change.
*Room was not set up completely. This would not have been a problem if additional tables could have just been set up but first we had to determine who was at fault. There had been a misunderstanding but at that point it just needed to be fixed since people were outside waiting to come in. Instead, we had to look at the contract and make a phone call. All we needed was two additional tables.
*We were originally told we could go over our numbers for lunch by up to seven people. At the final confirmation of numbers we were told we could only go over by two. So we sent people out to a restaurant to eat. I think consistency in information would be helpful.
*The overall attitude of the event planner we had worked with was not good. During the challenges she did not come out to help figure out about food, etc. She stayed in her office. The GM worked with us via phone regarding the food challenge. I was totally shocked that no one from Bridgewater contacted us following the event for appologies and to secure our business for our next event.
*This was my first time to use this center. I have used Jubilee several times without a hitch.

The event place is a disastrous place. None of the promise said in contract was fulfilled. The champagne was not served. We did toast with empty glasses, will you believe it? The servers were not provided according to contract. There was no harmony between the servers. I believe there was no boss person among the servers so they were doing what they wanted to do. They were rude. No coffee, tea were served. No beverages were served, not even water was served. No decoration was done as promised. No lighting arrangement was done according to promise. No initial logo was illuminated on the dance floor. The slide show was unattended so the appropriate music played by the DJ did not relate to the slide. We had to apologize our 200 guest for the chaos. The event place is totally mismanaged and unorganized place. Think very hard before signing the contract with them…that is my advice. We paid $7200 just to rent the place. -
