We were blown away by our cake for our wedding. Walking into the reception and seeing it made us so happy. Felicity worked closely with our florist to execute our vision and it couldn't have turned out better. My husband also loves key lime pies so she did custom mini key lime pie tarts for us that all the guests were raving about. They were so delicious. We loved working with Felicity and would recommend her services to anyone getting married on the islands. -

Top notch service
Felicity did a spectacular job with our wedding cake and cupcakes. I wanted a local San Juan Island bakery to do our wedding cake, and she came highly recommended.
We didn’t have a tasting, everything was communicating via email and her forms. She nailed it! The almond cake was delicious and the cupcake decorating was gorgeous. They came and set up at the venue and took everything down afterwards without us even being there. We are planning on going back for an anniversary cake next year!Cakes by Felicitations's reply:

The cake was delicious and beautiful. I literally can't stop eating the leftovers! It was exactly what we asked for down to the smallest detail. The smores cart was a hit, and the homemade marshmallows were so good. Highly recommend adding the smores cart option to your wedding dessert options. -

Beautiful, tasty wedding cake
Felicity was very professional and accommodating to our many changes given a COVID wedding plan. The final product was not only delicious, but so beautiful and perfectly captured our vision! Even though our celebration was significantly downsized, the cake added the perfect wedding touch to an intimate lovely day. -

Danielle Sent on 09/20/2018Our wedding was a party. It was the perfect combination of food, music, location, and people. But the weirdest thing happened once we cut the cake... EVERYONE got in line and then sat back down to enjoy. Seriously, everyone. I have never seen so many people take time to eat wedding cake! It was awesome! Felicity did an amazing job of both style and flavor. We also really enjoyed the tasting experience with her as she made it so fun and letting me dream big in all that I wanted... nearly naked, sprinkles, layers, colors, flowers, etc!Cakes by Felicitations's reply:

Julie Sent on 08/31/2015I am still in awe over the cake that Felicity made for our wedding. It was so much more beautiful than I ever could've imagined and I was actually sad when it was time to cut it! And of course it tasted as good as it looked. We did two flavors and both of them were delicious! So many of our guests that I talked to the next morning couldn't stop talking about how good the cake was! And on top of that, Felicity was amazing to work with. We were lucky enough to make it up to the island for a tasting and it was such a great experience. And she was so helpful and flexible as we worked through changing guest counts. Thank you so much Felicity for making us such a gorgeous cake!! -

We had two cakes and both were so beautifully decorated. She was very easy to work with and was able to a wide variety of cake flavors, styles, and decorations. The cake tasting process was really fun too! her dog was there very for moral support as we selected our flavors. I will say though that our cake wasn't nearly as tasty as i was hoping. Still really good though! We also planned for 100 guests but only 80 attended. and since I didn't update her on the final guest count within a certain time frame, I still had to pay for 100 guests. It does clearly say that in the contract. So it was entirely my fault. But its still a bummer.Cakes by Felicitations's reply:

Thank you so much for such a lovely review given you did have some issues. I am sorry you found the cake slightly disappointing - I hate to hear that since I pride myself in my flavors. But your feedback is valuable and I thank you for it. The time frame for the final headcount is a standard procedure and necessary from my prospective. However, there was a small amount still unpaid on your balance owed but I waived that as a goodwill gesture well before I saw your review.
I enjoyed working with you so much and being a small part of your wedding day. I wish you and Eric a lifetime of happiness.

User2282750 Sent on 08/23/2015Felicity was great because she made exactly what I wanted. The cake came out perfect, she listened to all my requests. Her flavors are also great, we had 3 flavors in our cake and our guests went back for seconds. It was delicious. I recommend her.
The only reason I am NOT giving this vender a 5/5 is because I had fresh flowers on my cake (in between the layers). She asked me to provide these flowers (in addition to the cost of the cake, which is ok I guess). She asked me to get 75 roses, I did. When the cake arrived, there were only about 30 roses on the cake. :( I'm not sure what happened. She never phoned or messaged me about the rest of the flowers.

I was dismayed to hear about your concern over the number of roses and you are right that I should have contacted you about them. I am so sorry I neglected to do that. My goal is to provide the best possible experience throughout the planning process and presentation of your wedding cake. It is very difficult to know the exact quantity necessary without knowing the size of bloom and I had carefully explained that fewer may be used if they were a smaller bloom. I used more than you might think but yes, there were many leftover. I left the remaining flowers at the venue so I don't know what became of them. I am thrilled you and your guests loved the cake and that you would recommend me. That means a lot and I thank you for having me be a part of your wedding day.
