  Cookies and Ice Cream over Cake Everyday!

  As a former student at The George Washington University, Captain Cookie was a campus regular in my time as an undergraduate. Seeing this business grow from the food truck to now have storefronts in multiple cities is so cool and it felt like such a cool way to honor my time in DC by having them as a part of our wedding.
  
  In place of having cake, we hired the Captain Cookie truck to come serve dessert to our wedding guests. Everyone loved this and it was so fun for all the little kids too at our wedding. I think the nicest part about this as well is that people get to pick what they like for dessert rather than getting one flavor of cake that might not be their favorite. Overall, would highly recommend including Captain Cookie in your special day!

  The Perfect Dessert and a fun surprise for guests

  Hire Captain Cookie! I cannot stress this enough - not only were they easy to communicate with, but the truck was right on time and a charming addition to our special day. An incredible value for the money, great service, and MASSIVE portions! I would hire them for any event, and we are still enjoying the leftover cookies a week later. 10/10, and special thanks to Michael for being our on-site person. Perfect service!

  The Best Wedding Dessert!

  Captain Cookie was an absolute hit at our wedding! They were prompt and pulled up right next to the tent after dinner which was a fun surprise for our guests. We were so happy that everyone loved all of the cookie and ice cream options and they came prepared to serve all of our guests. Our friends and family are still raving about how great the cookie truck was for dessert! We would recommend Captain Cookie to anyone looking for a different dessert option other than cake at your wedding!

  The perfect dessert surprise!

  We had Captain Cookie and the Milkman truck as dessert at our wedding and couldn't be happier! Not only was it a great price, they were a hit among our guests and even invited us to take photos in the truck. Couldn't have asked for a better vendor!

  Who doesn't love ice cream?!

  We're not big cake people and knew we wanted to do something different on our wedding day. We've had CC before and knew the ice cream sandwiches were delicious, so it was a no brainer! The staff (specifically Alexandra) were so helpful in their communications and very responsive. Then our wedding day came and the staff set up at our dessert table and our guests loved it! We didn't do the truck because our reception was in a hotel ballroom. My only regret is I didn't finish my ice cream sandwich - it was so tasty. The only thing I wish I had done was schedule them to stay through the duration of our reception (I asked them to finish at 10pm, reception ended at 10:30pm) because there were some guests who didn't know they were leaving and missed the window to get dessert (despite our DJ making several announcements). But, I definitely recommend!

  My husband came up with the idea to have an ice cream truck arrive at our August wedding as an end of evening surprise for the guests. I found Captain Cookie through a work event and after one taste it was no question they were the vendor we had to have. Communications with Alexandra at CC were easy and she was very responsive to questions by email. They showed up on time, got a great parking spot and served our guests their amazing treats. It goes without saying that these ice cream sandwiches and cookies are so so good. Guests continue to tell us it was one of their favorite moments of the night!

  A memorable addition to any wedding

  I had Captain Cookie and the Milkman truck arrive for a late night snack at my wedding. Best money I spent. It was such a memorable experience for the guests and really set my wedding apart. The wedding was 3 weeks ago (7/6/19) and guests are still talking about how wonderful the cookies and ice cream were. The ice cream was the real deal (fresh strawberries in the strawberry ice cream etc.) Guests also raved about how absolutely AWESOME the truck attendant and owner Michael was. Guests talked about how bubbly, energetic, funny and overall pleasant he was. He really took pride in his service and the overall experience. I'm so thankful I had them, and would certainly hire them again for another event in a heartbeat

  Love them! Book them for a unique experience!

  Captain Cookie is the best! We knew we didn't want to go the traditional wedding cake route for our wedding this past Saturday (June 8, 2019), and are so glad we went with Captain Cookie instead. Our guests were thrilled to see the truck pull up, and it was so fun to watch our guests order from the delicious menu. They even let my husband and I hop into the truck to serve a few of our guests, which I'm sure will make for amazing photos! They were so kind and professional, and we're so happy they were a part of our day. Thanks so much!

  Delicious, fun, unique

  Everyone told us during wedding planning to make the wedding unique to us to make it feel special. My husband and I like cake, but our guilty pleasure is milk and cookies or cookie sandwiches. We tried the cookies at the brick and mortar location in NE D.C. and decided this had to be a special part of our day.
  
  Captain Cookie came on time, had hot cookies and served all 100 of our guests. Our guests loved the hot cookies and fresh local milk and ice cream. This was certainly different and something for our guests to talk about for a long time.

  My husband and I met in DC. Anytime Captain Cookie was near our office, we'd sneak out to get their delicious cookies. It only seemed right to have them at our wedding. Who wants cake when you can have an ice cream sandwich. Our guests were delighted and can't stop talking about how good it was. Hire them!

It was the absolute biggest hit of the night and the guests couldn't get outside quick enough to enjoy all the sweet treats. The gentleman helping serve all the guests was so nice and helpful. He served all of our guests quickly and efficiently and was kind enough to let my husband and I get in the truck to take a couple photos. They had enough cookies and ice cream to serve our 85 guests plus the DJ, coordinator, bartender, and wait staff. He also sent us home with multiple containers of cookies for us to enjoy later as well as cookies wrapped in individual bags to distribute to our guests. The cookies were warm, fresh out of the oven and everyone loved it. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun dessert for a wedding or other special event!

  I adored working with Kirk and Captain Cookie! Every communication up to our event was smooth and he provided all the information I needed at a great price. Even the night of the event, we had a small snafu with arrival time; we needed him at midnight on a Friday, which he read as Saturday evening but once we cleared it up, he rushed out to our venue with just him staffing the truck! He made every attempt and succeeded to make our event a total hit. The cookies were delicious and gooey and he even walked around the group handing out freshly baked goodness. I am planning on using him again for another corporate event and I would absolutely recommend him for anyone wanting a great cookie food truck!

For price, novelty and overall awesomeness, we can't recommend Captain Cookie enough to serve YOUR wedding, birthday party, other fun gathering, too.

  Amazing, even at a November wedding!

  The ice cream cookies tasted amazing and I was surprised to see almost everyone lining up for ice cream on a cold (ish) day! I also got so many compliments!
  The only problem is that they were late to the event and when my coordinator tried to call them there was no answer. But they did come and the night went smoothly, I didn't even realize they were late!

  We decided to have captain cookie cater dessert at our wedding instead of getting a cake. Everything was really great throughout the booking process and everyone we worked with was super professional and responsive. I just don't know if it was worth it in the end. I was kind of disappointed in the quality of the cookies, and I'd really hoped they'd be served warm but they weren't. I can't say this added anything memorable/special to my wedding.
