  Our wedding invitations were the most beautiful invitations we have ever seen thanks to Carol Woldhuis Designs. Her custom work is unparalleled. Not only are her paintings incredible, but she utilizes paper in such artful ways. She created over seven pieces for us and each one incorporated a different, personalized touch that made it stand out. Some of my favorite features were the custom monogram and painted map of Chicago that highlighted all of our favorite places with adorable icons. She even called our florist and worked with him to make sure the flowers showcased were exactly like the flowers we were planning to have at the wedding. Our guests and I were blown away by her talent and attention to detail. She captured the romantic feel of our wedding perfectly and made everyone noticeably more excited for the big day. We can't thank you enough!

  Carol and her team custom designed the save the dates for my wedding. I had a pretty specific vision in mind and she made it come to life. I sent over several pictures of our venue and she just so happened to pic the one I loved to turn into a fun illustration of the venue. We received so many complements on the quality and style of the piece. While I wanted to keep the actual invitation much more traditional, and we decided to go with another vendor for that piece, I will absolutely use Carol again and recommend her to others. Her fun, whimsical style was exactly what I was looking for and the illustration is hard to beat. Thanks Carol!

  Carol is a true artist! We came to her wanting a romantic theme to go with our rustic style venue in Chicago. We showed her pictures of flowers and different examples of invitations using our colors navy, coral, and gold. What she presented us was far beyond anything we could have dreamed of. The invitations were so beautifully handmade and very evident that a lot of care went into creating them.
  It was so difficult to choose from the array of choices she presented us but I love the one we picked in the end. She then took that design and applied it to so many other pieces including a welcome sign, Photo Booth sign, table numbers, seating charts, food escort signs, and many others placed around the space. All of the pieces tied the together so elegantly and we had so many guests complimenting on all the beautiful details.
  She worked so quickly and was very patient with us when we went back and forth with so many changes! She is an absolute delight to work with and we would highly recommend Carol to anyone! Hope to work with you again in the future Carol!

  I had contacted Carol to see if she would be able to do a custom map in 7weeks prior to the wedding...she was absolutely amazing to work with! She was able to squeeze me in and did an absolutely wonderful job! We had a few changes and she was so pleasant to work with! My custom order arrived with plenty of time and I got so many compliments on all the detail that was put into the project! I could not have been happier and would highly recommend !

  Carol was amazing to work with! She took my vision and created the most beautiful and meaningful invitation for us. We could not have been happier. She was always quick to answer our million questions and make changes as needed, all while keeping us relaxed and calm. We came to her on a tight time table and she came through as promised.   Carol was absolutely the best to work with for my destination wedding. I'm complex at times and she received my vision and brought all my stationary to life in the most MAGICAL WAY! I can't thank her enough for her amazing she was in the entire process from beginning to end. I hope to work with her again in the near future because she's one of a kind!!!!!

  I had a short engagement so time was of the essence when selecting vendors. From the first email exchange, to custom designing my wedding invitation suite, through receiving my beautiful invites...Carol was meticulous in every detail of the process! If I had questions or wanted to tweak the design, Carol was quick to respond and provide me with exactly what I had envisioned! She understood my short time frame and was able to quickly deliver without compromising the quality of work. In the end my wedding invitations came out more exquisite than I had hoped. I will absolutely use Carol's services in the future for other parties or events! I am 100% referring Carol Woldhuis Designs to friends, family and industry contacts.

  Carol created the perfect colors on my daughter's wedding invitations. She also did my sons wedding invites and they were done very well. My son's were more formal and we got many compliments on them. My daughter (true to her personality) is simpler and I even got more compliments on how cute the invitations were. We will definitely use her again if and when the other two of my children get married!!

  Carol created beautiful Mother's Day brunch favors of hand-designed notecards. She tied them with ribbons and was extremely helpful in getting them to the party location. She was very prompt in answering emails. Just terrific.

  I received an amazing service from Carol Woldhuis. My invitations were outstanding and filled with little bits of my fiance and I. They were creative, unique and perfect. We received countless comments regarding how beautiful the hand-crafted design was on our invitations. It was truly a wonderful experience working with Carol.
