Sister events made my dream wedding a REALITY. Words don't do their work justice. They took my thoughts and made them come true, only 10x better!! If I could, I'd want to relive my wedding day over and over again. It was absolutely amazing to say the least! What made our experience even better was that our family and friends were able to rent a cabin near the event center so they got to enjoy the wedding without the drive! We had the best experience and would definitely recommend having your wedding at Cedar Skies!! -

AMAZING venue! We had a blast. Our whole bridal party stayed in one cabin, making it feel like a destination wedding, all while still in Texas! Maegan and Manda were so easy to work with and made sure our day went seamlessly. Everything we wanted, they did! They took care of us from the beginning of the process until the end. If you are even considering Cedar Skies, the answer is YES you will not regret it. Beautiful venue, all of our guests raved about the location and the property. Our wedding day was PERFECT! The outside ceremony under the beautiful trees and the large reception area allowed us plenty of space for us and our guests. The venue was perfect for our February wedding. I highly recommend using Sister Events for your coordination. Even though manda was my day of coordinator, she & Maegan were always there if I needed her during the planning process. Everything was AMAZING! -

Daughters wedding
Absolute perfection! I wish we had another reason to go back!! Our daughters wedding weekend from houses to coordination could not have been better. Even my husband said he would do it all over again. I can’t say enough about Amanda and Meagan! Book this venue!!!Cedar Skies's reply:

A weekend we will never forget
From the very beginning we fell in love with Cedar Skies and Log Country Cove and especially Manda and Maegan! My husband and I stepped foot on the property and knew it was a perfect fit for us. Our family and friends were coming in from all over, and we knew Log Country Cove provided the perfect space for everyone to actually spend time together throughout the weekend leading up to the big day! Almost every guest that stayed there RAVED about their experience and told us how happy they were to see us and spend quality time prior to our wedding. This is exactly what we were looking for. Once we had the venue locked down we knew we were going to be utilizing Manda and Maegan’s full coordination because we were not familiar with available vendors in the area. Not only did they recommend/plan for amazing top notch vendors, but they absolutely out did themselves. Every single person was jaw dropping! The make up and hair was flawless, the flowers were magical, the food was delicious, the DJ was fun, the photo booth was hilarious, the officiant was perfect..... everything blew us away. They managed to create our perfect fairy tale wedding after just a few short meetings with us, phone calls, and text messages! They were the most professional, responsive, honest, and trust worthy coordinators you could ever ask for/dream of! The wedding was effortless and magical and I have Manda and Maegan to thank for all of it! Not only was the entire experience positive, but I also feel like I have life long friends because of it. Manda and Meagan will always be special to us. If you’re lucky enough to get married here, you won’t regret it! -

The venue itself is beautiful. We loved being able to have onsite accommodation for literally everyone. (Log Country Cove) Manda and Maegan were WONDERFUL. So responsive and helpful before, during and after. We chose Cedar Skies because of the location and onsite accommodation, but I recommend it for literally everything they offer.
Because we booked the Big Timber Lodge, we were able to use the pavilion for our rehearsal dinner. We utilized sister events for that as well and was so worth it, of course.

Cedar Skies was our perfect venue for so many reasons. The property is beautiful and homey and the venue is JUST STUNNING. Too top it off the wedding coordinators, Manda and Megan, are two sisters who go above and beyond for their bride and groom! They perfectly coordinate every detail of your big day, plus the rehearsal and Sunday Brunch! They are the sweetest, personable, most beautiful young ladies. They’re sure to become your friends in the process! We couldn’t be happier with our choice without Cedar Skies! All our guest stayed in beautifully built cabins and enjoyed the lake all weekend long!Cedar Skies's reply:

Not sure where to start, first, the staff is exceptional! They were so accommodating, we submitted how many people we were expecting, well ended up having about 50 people over that, and they handled it no problem all on the fly. Now onto the venue, so beautiful, and so unique, it’s tucked away in the amazing Log Country Cove. Plenty of large oak trees, a wedding bell, and not to mention the prettiest lake in central Texas. Wouldn’t want you to get married anywhere else... all in all we had the most fun at our wedding - so did our guests. Love it, keep doing what you’re doin’!Cedar Skies's reply:

Best day ever
Made my daughters day go very smoothly, was the best decision I made was to have a wedding coordinator and Manda and Megan made sure that every detail was on spot. I was able to just sit back and enjoy the day with my baby girl. Thank you so much for making this day so special for both of us. -

Maegan and the entire staff at Cedar Skies was amazing! Our original wedding venue flooded and closed ONE MONTH before our wedding! Cedar Skies had an opening and worked with us to rearrange our wedding day and lodging for over half of our guests. They were so understanding, kind and provided great customer service.
The venue is beautiful and breathtaking. We are so lucky we were able to find such an incredible space so close to our wedding. They were flexible with our vendors, timing and responded quickly to all questions/concerns. Our wedding day was perfect and it is in huge part to the beautiful venue and Maegan's help!Cedar Skies's reply:

We had our wedding at Cedar Skies in Sept. 2018. This place is way more than your average venue!! ALL of our guests were from out of town, and 90% choose to stay on site. We made the wedding a week long activity, and it was so relaxing and enjoyable to be able to spend time with family and friends before and after the big day! Log Country Cove offers beautiful cabins, fun lakefront activities, and even boats and water toys for rental. (Plus no one has to drive home after the wedding/festivities). Many of my guests are trying to plan a return trip just to enjoy it with their families.
As for Cedar Skies, we worked with both Maegan and Manda to tour and set up the venue. They were both great, very responsive to any questions or concerns. We really wanted to have an outdoor wedding, but the day of our wedding Mother Narure was not cooperating. Maegan kept an eye on the radar and waited until the last moment we could to make the decision to move it inside. They set up the chairs inside for us and it was a perfect set up. The wedding was flawless and it downpoured during our nuptials, so moving inside was a good call! The rain let up after the wedding, and due to the great drainage and landscaping we were still able to go outside and get some great pics!

Eileen Sent on 09/28/2018Such a beautiful Texas Hill Country venue! The outdoor setting for the ceremony was gorgeous. The Cedar Skies Barn is a perfect combination of elegance in a rustic country setting. The guest accommodations offered on the property are all lovely. I can't say enough good things about the event coordinator who helped plan every aspect of the event. No matter what we asked for she found and provided it. She chose all of the vendors and made sure they understood what was requested. Our family and friends all commented on what a wonderful party and magical event they had attended. Overall, our fairy tale came true!

Manda with Sister Events and Log Country Cove was such a blessing and a real "godsend" for us. My son a missionary in Cambodia and he was home in Austin for only a few months, with grand plans to propsoe to his lovely lady on Dec 21st and then marry before returning to Cambodia. With the proposal behind us, the holidays over and a Feb 10th wedding date set. We set to planning a wedding , we needed to find a venue and plan a the whole wedding in only a few weeks and all went beautifully as as planned with surprisingly very little stress thanks mostly to Manda, her team and their beautiful venue Cedar Skies- this really helped thier dreams come true. She made it so much easier on both mothers and the bride and groom. She took away our anxiety with her expereince, patience and confidence. She is very knowledgeable, and offered tons of great advice and helpful suggestions to cut down on stress. She is/was so sweet and loving and was very patient through the whole process, she gave us confidence that even though we didn't have a long time to plan we didn't need it , because she would take care of all the details and she did! She promised it would go smoothly under her watchful eye and it did! One thing she couldn't control was the weather ... the ceremony was all set up outside which was so inportant to the bride and groom to have an outdoor ceremony and just hours before the ceremony an unexpected cold front moved in and we experienced a 20 degree drop in temperature just an hour before. But no panic , Manda offered a helpful solution to send her sister and partner Meagan to Tueday Morning to buy every lap blanket we could- Guests later reported that really was a real life saver as it was very cold. Another example of her thoughtfullness, attention to detail and quick thinking is when during the ceremony the couple had planned to wash each others feet she orchestrated helpers to heat the water to make the bride and groom more comfortable. Later after the ceremony we all moved into the welcome coziness of the beautiful Cedar Skies lodge and the wedding continued. A very special day indeed in part to having a wonderful co-oordinator take care of so many details. Her experience, thoughtfullness , quick thinking and being willing to go the extra mile is what makes the difference between "good" and "great" service and Manda, Maegan and thier team are "Great" in my book.Cedar Skies's reply:

Working with a control freak like myself can be difficult at times, but Manda and Meagan handled it like the professionals that they are, and the results on the day of, were wonderful! Go see the venue, because the space speaks for itself. Do yourself and your stress level a favor and get Sisters events to plan the day!
