Delicious!! My husband and I wanted to make sure we didn't have "wedding food" at our wedding. He found Chef Marisoll on Wedding Wire. She was sometimes a little hard to get a hold of, but once we did get in touch, she answered all our questions and had everything under control. We also had a dramatic change in the amount of guests we expected, which she was immediately flexible to without a problem. We had hors d'ouevres for the cocktail hour, a dinner buffet with fish, steak, pork chops, chicken, sweet plantains, rice and beans, a pesto pasta salad, green salad, yuca (all of that was for dinner!), and a late-night asopao served in glass bowls to our guests! The presentation of the food was great, and more importantly, the food was awesome. The food tasting took place in her beautiful kitchen studio and was an opportunity to share a nice meal with our parents just a few days before the wedding--complete with wine pairings. We don't live in Puerto Rico, but we waited until the week-of the wedding to do the menu tasting--we trusted her and had heard so many great reviews, that we were actually not worried about this at all. Chef Marisoll also supplied the glassware, plates, and flatware--everything was tasteful and good quality. Chef Marisoll and her staff are phenomenal. She was on-time and prepared for our wedding. It was an all-around great experience!

Marisol was amazing! All our guest could not stop saying how delicious the food was at our wedding. We had a buffet style catering. We had Puerto Rican hors d’oeuvres. One of my favorite was morfongo fritters and the guyaba dip. Marisol was very professional and responsible. We live in Miami and she was great with communicating and keeping us up to date! For the cocktail hour she constantly had food coming out and her service was amazing! I definitely recommend her to everyone! Thank

When we talk about the wedding with our guests, they always mention how amazing the food was - from the hors d'oeuvres to the three course dinner. The food was great! Was a destination wedding so we never had a tasting but we were not disappointed. Slightly difficult to communicate with, slow responses but we're happy we didn't let that us deture us.

We had an all-vegan wedding and Chef Marisoll was able to easily accommodate. The food was absolutely phenomenal and all of our guests who were mostly non-vegetarian (and heavy meat eaters) really enjoyed the offerings. Like other vendors when planning a destination wedding, the response time was a bit slow (but definitely not out of the ordinary). We really want to give Chef Marisoll 5 stars as the quality and presentation of the food was amazing BUT unfortunately, WE RAN OUT OF FOOD at the wedding. It was buffet-style and by the 7th or 8th table (out of 10; had 75 guests total) who went to get food, most of the food was already out.

We had a variety of options for cocktail hour but service was a bit slow and the food/apps did not really come out in a timely manner and were lacking in quantity. Also, our his/her drink (mojito + moscow mule) were really sweet and weak and most of our guests opted to order different drinks instead. They also kept telling our guests they ran out of various liquors (which wasn't true; they just had to reload from their truck as it wasn't automatically set up due to Campo Rico's space for vendors) but they should have been prepared for this as it was embarrassing for us as hosts to have our guests told we were "out" of anything. For the price we paid and just based on how great she was throughout the process, she was the one vendor we didn't think we had to worry about but unfortunately, she was probably the biggest "issue" we had during our wedding day.

For anyone looking to book her, she is really great but make sure you ask for more food than less. Also, maybe it was our fault that we asked for a variety of options (i think we had 5 diff passed apps for cocktail hour, and 4-5 entrees + salad). Maybe if it we didn't choose all the different options, she would have had more time to make more of each to accommodate everyone? In any case, especially if you do a buffet, be very clear as to the amount of food you'd like served.
