I purchased my wedding dress from Chiyos in June 2018 as they were consolidating so I was able to find my dream dress at a VERY discounted price. I also did all my alterations at Chiyos. Lisa, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and personable and was quick! Highly recommended! -
User854858 Sent on 07/07/2012I was actually suckered in to this store. My maid of honor kept telling me about this dress shop and she wanted to get her dress from there.
We got there and met Traci. Then my moh went over to the bridal dresses....um..I already have a dress I said. (my first dress was horrible and I only got it to keep people off my back)
I ended up finding a dress and fell in love with it. We never told my husband that I had another dress. He didnt know until I walked down the isle in it.
They let me make payments on the dress and also the alterations. They are an amazing group of people and do their best to make everyone in the place feel special. -
User2491487 Sent on 01/03/2016We were greeted immediately upon entering on a busy Saturday. Our sales person was very attentive and show me various styles of dress to make me beautiful on my special day. She also reviewed alteration options and time lines for me. Over all great experience. -
User2015245 Sent on 01/19/2015I purchased my wedding gown at Chiyo’s Bridal and Tux and my bridesmaids did as well. I had a great experience shopping for my dress and the saleswoman was so helpful allowing me to try on a least 9 dresses until I found the perfect one! She was not at all pushy and gave me a lot of space to choose what I wanted and also offered suggestions once she understood what I was looking for. She was very knowledgeable about the inventory and told me that the price on the Alfred Angelo dress I finally chose was going up in the next week so I should buy it soon. The dress came in in a timely manner and I had no issues with it.
My bridesmaids bought their dresses at Chiyo’s and received a discount because I bought my wedding dress there too. One of my bridesmaids had an issue with the size of her dress. She knew what size she wanted to purchase but the saleswoman convinced her to purchase a bigger size. She explained that the dress cannot be exchanged once ordered and her “ribs will not shrink by the time the wedding comes.” When the dress came in it was definitely too big and the size that my bridesmaid was going to order would have been perfect. She purchased alterations for the dress at Chiyos and was not impressed with the work. The zipper was off somehow.
Chiyos has a fantastic selection of dresses, however if your dress size usually veers off the sizing charts, make sure you stick to your guns and don’t let them order a dress that you know will not fit you. I would also recommend that you go somewhere else for alterations if you need them for a wedding dress. Something so important should not be left to chance between mediocre and superior work.

Giuseppa Sent on 06/09/2009The place looks terrible on the outside, in fact I drove past it several times before realzing it was the place I was looking for b/c the sign in terrible. Once inside it's still not in the greatest condition, but they had what I was looking for. My dress was ready when they said it would be and the alterations were done as expected. I am glad I purchased my dress here b/c their dresses and veils are much different than what you find at David's Bridal. They carry lots of designers and lots of bridesmaid dresses/ -

Michelle Sent on 08/02/2010We purchased 3 brides maids dress and my dress from Chiyo's bridal. I actually bought 2 wedding gowns from them, both on their 50% off sample sale. That being said the price was PERFECT for my dresses. I did not get alterations their because of the quoted prices all I needed was a bustle and a hem. I was told the bustle would have been over $75 and the hem would be $150 or more for one dress...OUCH! I was told the bridesmaids dresses would be in within 7 - 9 weeks, well the end of the 9 weeks I called and was told they would be in in 3 more weeks. About a week after the extra 3 weeks (a total of 13 weeks for a bridesmaids dress) I called and was told 2 were in but not the 3rd that's why no one had been notified. This was about 6 weeks until my wedding date and they where going to hold 2 of them for the 3rd dress that wouldn't be in until another 2.5 weeks later. In my head that does not make any since. Because I did buy my dress their all of the other girls received 10% off their dress.
All and all I am happy with my choice with Chiyo's Bridal and I could have never been able to afford my dream dress without them. -

I went to Chiyo's based off a review from my soon to be sister in Law. I walked in and they had a ton of dresses. I am particular about what I want and I have been dreaming about my wedding dress ever since I came out of my tomboy stage. However, I found the dress of my dreams. Not only that, I found my garter (Raiders for my husband) and a head piece. I am going back for my alterations and I might even find a tux for my boys. -

Erin Sent on 09/01/2013I used Chiyo's for my bridesmaids dresses. They had a large selection of dresses in store and in a variety of sizes which was nice. However, from the get go my experience was not great. We did not have an appointment, but we came in at 3 on a weekeday and there was no on else in the store. We were greeted and asked what we were looking for, but after that we not given any more assistance. The 2 consultants standing around did not offer any suggestions on what might fit the look I was going for. When my girls were trying on dresses no one helped them zip or clip on dresses too large. In fact when I asked for clips they just handed me large clamps from home depot and let me do it. We did not order that day because we were missing one bridesmaid. We did tell them we were interested in ordering and set up all of the details for the wedding so that all my BMs had to do was call and place their order. I came back the next week with my final BM and she approved the dress so she placed her order. Within the the next week both of my other girls went down and ordered their dresses. A month later I received a call stating they were going to cancel my order because it wasn't complete. Turns out they had not placed any of my girls on the same order card even though they stated they were with my wedding. They also lost records of deposits on the dresses. It took my MOH going down to the store with receipt copies to straighten everything out. When the dresses finally arrived we were told we had 10 days to pick them up or they would ship the dresses back. Also, even though I had explicitly stated I was not responsible for the order and they needed to contact each girl individually when the dresses came in my girls never heard word 1 from the store. When we went to pick up the dresses it was once again a study in being ignored. We walked in they got our dresses from back and we were promptly ignored again. I would not recommend them.
