Best Decision We Made!
We selected CME based on their reviews, a few YouTube videos, and the warmth and positivity from Rudy and Genesis. Well - They. Were. Incredible. From start to finish, the team was supportive, responsive, and professional. Oh - and did I mention that they are incredible performers? The energy they brought to the entire event was amazing. The dance floor was packed all night, and our guests have been raving to us about the band for weeks. (Including some music teacher friends who are tough critics!)
Obviously your entertainment is one of the most important elements of your wedding, and you want to make sure you’re making the right choice. Follow them on Instagram, watch their YouTube videos, and read these reviews from their scores of more than satisfied brides and grooms. They’re an incredible group, both musically and professionally, and you won’t be disappointed. Every star I can possibly award. -

We are so glad we went with Crossing Midnight for our wedding! We booked live musicians for our ceremony and a two man DJ/MC for our reception and we were blown away with how wonderful they were! The ceremony music was beautiful and they were able to learn/play a special request song for us. Our DJ and MC were amazing, they nailed our vision and really did a great job working the crowd and feeding off our energy. The vibes were amazing throughout the entire night! And a big shoutout to Genesis who was so supportive and communicative throughout the entire process, from the moment we booked to our big day. She would consistently touch base with us just to check in which really meant a lot to us. And when there were some issues with one of the songs I sent them, Genesis was quit to reach out to me and troubleshoot. Overall, we are beyond thrilled that we went with Crossing Midnight and would 100% recommend them! -

When we say we had the BEST band and vendor experience, it's an understatement! From the very beginning to the very end, Rudy and Genesis have been incredible and so responsive and accommodating. During the last meeting before the wedding, they not only took us through the schedule, songs, and transitions with their guidance and expertise while accommodating to our desires, they also provided us with words of encouragement and advice of care. On the day of, everyone kept telling me that I was the calmest bride, but that would not have been the case had it not been for Rudy, Genesis and the team. Rudy had continued to come to me throughout the night when appropriate to check in and keep us on time without rushing or dragging. Whenever flexibility was required, they delivered professionally and smoothly so we could enjoy our time. And that's only speaking on the logistics side. The entire team is incredibly talented and jaw droppingly good. Everyone told us that it was THE best wedding band / reception experience they had because of the band. Crossing Midnight is another preferred vendor of Soundview. My husband absolutely insisted on having live music so he hunted down all the bands we were going to consider. We loved all of the instruments that Crossing Midnight can provide, so we had a 7-piece band with a male and female vocalist, a saxophone, guitar, keyboard, bassist, and drummer. They came to our house to have a meeting about the schedule of the night, which was very nice of them! Every single one of my guests were raving about this band during and after the wedding. The guests actually demanded an encore at the end of the night and the band obliged! Our guests were on the dance floor the entire night and they were just incredible. They performed all of our songs live, besides a traditional Greek dance, and they even learned multiple songs that we specifically requested! If you’re looking for a band that can actually read the room and get your guests on the dance floor, look no further. I am the first wedding of my side of the family, so the bar is set impossibly high for whoever is next.
They also provided a violin duet for ceremony music, and a pianist for cocktail hour. We wanted a very specific video game song played during the first kiss, and they learned that music for us too!
We also had a photobooth and photobooth attendant with them! They had so many fun props and signs. I really liked how instead of printing out the photostrips, you can send the photos directly to your phone! Definitely get the photobooth, it was so fun to see my parents and their friends take silly pictures together. -

Genesis and the Crossing Midnight Entertainment team was the best decision my husband and I made on our wedding. The band was AMAZING and we had multiple people raving about our music for days after. Genesis was very fast at responding and stayed in touch with me throughout the planning process. I would recommend Crossing Midnight to all of my friends, family and co-workers for future events. -

This review is the least we can do to share how appreciative we are of Crossing Midnight Entertainment. In our opinion, after seeing the process and final product, CME should be your only option. You and your wedding guests will have an unforgettable experience.
I knew we made the right choice choosing CME months prior to our wedding but to even further confirm the above, most of our guests had reached out to us after asking for the bands contact information. Please call them and find out for yourselves on their talent and expertise. If you have a little more time, please read below for our continued review.
Where do we even begin?!?!
Our wedding could not have gone any better and it was all from Crossing Midnight Entertainment. The whole night I kept getting surprise after surprise on the great songs they played. They brought the tempo up when it was needed, brought it back to some oldies, and finished strong! I didn’t leave the dance floor. If I didn’t write out the invitations, I wouldn’t have realized half of our guests were there because for the entire 4ish hours, my wife and I danced the night away. Their talent is unparalleled to anyone we’ve seen.
Now I know it is a tough decision picking the music for your wedding. I was in your shoes. I didn't know if I had to pick the songs, listen to showcases, relay details like setup and timing, etc... We got married at RGNY Winery in Riverhead, NY and there are a lot of moving pieces to a barn wedding with lots to consider for all our vendors.
The first-time meeting Rudy and Genesis, all our questions, requests, nerves, were put to ease. Everything was answered and they stayed in touch with us to see how we were progressing with the wedding planning. CME has the capacity for all things entertainment, it was a one stop shop! The questionnaire they gave us, listed options instead of us having to think of what we wanted. We were relieved this vendor needed very little forethought. We had full faith in them and they came through for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.
Blink of an eye it was the big day. Our first dance song and the songs with our parents were very unique.
Rest of Our Lives by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill was mine and my wife’s song and her dance with her father was Time to Say Goodbye by Andre Bocelli and Sarah Brightman (in Italian). They did a phenomenal job. Try to envision the best possible outcome for a band at your wedding and I promise you that is Crossing Midnight. Every genre was covered and I wish I could relive it one more time, it was our best night! For a night that goes by way too fast, make sure you fill it with the best of the best.

The best day of my life, thanks to Crossing Midnight!
If I could recommend this band to everyone and anyone planning an event I would! They were amazing, and made the night so special for my husband and I. It was like being at a concert where the band dances with you in the crowd. They were so accommodating and played such a large variety of music (me being Hispanic and my husband being Irish). Rudy and all of the instrumentalists were incredibly talented. Everyone could not stop talking about how amazing they were and we didn’t want the party to end. I cannot thank them enough for making my night one to remember. If you are contemplating booking them, do it! You will not regret it. -

People loved the hybrid band dj at our wedding! They also definitely adapted to what the people wanted and we appreciated that. They were easily the easiest vendor to work with as well. The team is super attentive and will answer all your questions. Would definitely recommend!
