Dream Wedding! Gorgeous Vineyard! Awesome team!

Not only is Crossing Vineyards a gorgeous place for a wedding, the staff was supportive and professional from our first interaction to today. Kate helped us with every step along the way to make sure our day was perfect! We were married in September of 2018 and after a rainy summer, we were sweating about our big day, to say the least. We were given options and assured that everything would be perfect, just as we had imagined. Thankfully, our day turned out to be rain free and the Crossing team made sure the vineyard was mud free and everything was in place. We truly felt like we were part of the family - this wasn't just another wedding for two people, it was our wedding.

Besides the delicious wines, perfect setting, and fantastic staff, the bridal suite made getting ready a breeze. We had our hair and make up done onsite and there was plenty of room for all of my bridesmaids. There is a full bathroom, kitchen, vanity room, and plenty of room to sit and sip champagne. Our grandmothers even stopped by for a sneak peak, which was truly special. It was nice to have a private space right on the property so we could easily get ready and take photos, without having to worry about transportation.

We had the best day and we highly recommend Crossing Vineyards! Our friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had and how beautiful our wedding was!

There is nothing bad to say about Crossing Vineyards! The venue is beautiful the reception was GORGEOUS! My wedding planner Margo was AMAZING to say the least - she helped us with everything down to table cloth details. They were perfectly on time with the ceremony, cocktail hour, etc. Our pictures are to die for. Everything was just great, there isnt enough I can say about this place. Oh let me not forget about the Bridal Suite, IT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL little cottage I have ever been in :)

I can't say enough great things about Crossing Vineyards. We had our wedding here on 9/3/2016. It was absolutely perfect. Kate & Margo are wonderful. They were helpful throughout the entire process. The DJ, food, cake, event planner, wine & champagne are all included. This makes planning so much easier! All I needed to bring in was photography & flowers. Kate completely understood my vision for my wedding and executed it perfectly. The bridal party was able to get ready in the gorgeous cottage onsite. The ceremony was outdoors and was GORGEOUS. The string quartet did a fantastic job. Then there was an easy transition into the cocktail hour and reception. The tented reception gave our wedding such an intimate & genuine feel. It was a perfect venue for my 100 guests. DJ Cole did a fantastic job keeping my guests entertained. The food was delicious. And the cake - AMAZING. People are still asking me for another piece. The servers and bartenders were great. The whole night ran so smoothly. Kate took care of everything. I honestly enjoyed every moment of my wedding at Crossing Vineyards. It was by far the best day of my life. I am so happy that I chose Crossing Vineyards for my wedding venue. It was perfect. Thank you!!!

We cannot say enough good things about The Crossing Vineyards & Winery and its staff, particularly wedding coordinators Kate and Margo. We had our ceremony and reception at the winery. We are very detail oriented and Kate and Margo met every expectation, from planning to executing our vision for the day.

First, we will start by saying that we had our engagement party at The Crossing five months prior to our wedding, so we were already somewhat familiar with the service. We had already booked the venue for our wedding, but after the engagement party we were certain we had made the right choice.

From the beginning, Kate and Margo made us feel like the winery was our special place for our memorable day. Whenever we had questions, they responded quickly to address our concerns. They were very generous with their time and always made us feel like we were a priority. They also made wonderful recommendations to help find an officiant and musicians.

Kate and Margo made sure the ceremony and reception areas were set up just as we had hoped. We were able to provide our own personal touches to the decor, with Kate and Margo taking our items and placing them throughout the venue.

Of course, many guests are going to judge a wedding reception based on the food. The food at The Crossing was outstanding and received numerous compliments from our guests. Everyone was impressed. Not only was the quality terrific, but there were many options from which to choose. Even our non-traditional coconut cake was a big hit.

Among the amenities were a bridal suite, where the bride-to-be could get ready with her family and friends, plus the winery provided a staff person to take care of the newly married couple during the reception.

We would without hesitation recommend The Crossing to anyone looking for a great venue for a wedding and/or reception. Best of all, we feel we have made new friends through this experience and look forward to return trips to the winery.

    Cheers!

My husband and I were married on one of the hottest days of the summer at the Crossing Vineyards and Winery. The day was perfect! Margo, one of the wonderful event coordinators at the Winery, played a large role in that! We were looking at different wineries in the region, and the Crossings stood out among the rest very quickly. The grounds were spectacular, and so well maintained. Flowers surround the winery, and it is so colorful! The wine is fantastic! We opted to have our ceremony and our reception on the grounds. We were not disappointed. The ceremony site was perfect, and everything that we brought in was set up exactly how we envisioned it. The tent that the reception was in is magical. It was spacious for our 110 guests. The food was delicious from cocktail hour to dessert. You really get to design your own menu...there are so many choices and combinations to be had. When the sun went down, the tent literally glowed! What's really great about the Winery is that it's basically "one stop shopping." So much is included...the only things we were truly responsible for was our photographers and our flowers. Margo was an amazing person to work with. I don't know how many times my husband and I e-mailed here back and forth. She was so responsive each and every time. She was helpful and offered advice without being pushy. She made things so easy for me. I was not stressed because I knew she would take care of everything! She truly is one of the reasons that we booked. The summer before, she was getting ready for someone else's wedding. She took time from her busy day to show us the grounds. After that, we booked an appointment with her and the rest is history.

From the first time we visited the vineyard we knew this was the setting for a perfect wedding, and it was . The venue is stunning. The grounds are professionally landscaped and reflects the beauty of the season. The colorful outdoor patio with courtyard was quaint for the cocktail hour. The white tent with sides was perfect for the day making everyone feel connected to the natural setting. The staff at the venue was pleasant and very accommodating to all of our needs and desires. Couldn't be happier!

Our event coordinators Margo and Kate went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable, from the intitial planning to the big day. They were incredibly responsive and detail-oriented (Margo even set up our chocolate buffet for us using a hand-sketched tablescape map and it was perfect!) We had a wonderful time and everything turned out gorgeous. Everyone who attended said that they had an amazing time!

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your feedback! We love working with each and every wedding couple, and hearing from happy brides and grooms is the best part of our job. :) We do hope you'll visit us at the winery again soon!

We had our wedding in June 2014. The venue was amazing! The staff was extremely flexible. Kate, Margo and their team were great! They were extremely flexible and there with every need! From the start Kate and Margo have been on top of things and gave me suggestions throughout the process. The Bridal suite is fantastic! The ceremony area is breath taking. The cocktail hour & reception went off without a hitch! The place is extremely clean and professional. The bartenders, staff and DJ were all amazing! We could not ask for anything more. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a winery. The wine is also incredible. Love the Corkins

My daughter had her wedding at Crossing Vineyard and it could not have been more wonderful. Although the weather was iffy we were told that a decision would not be made about the ceremony site (inside or out) until an hour before the wedding, which was great. We were able to have the ceremony outside and it was beautiful. Even this early in the season the grounds were immaculate and flowers were planted and blooming. Kate and Margo could not have been more helpful with the planning and the day of the wedding. Any time we had a question it was answered promptly. The staff of Grand Cru, the caterers was also great. The tent where the reception is held has a concrete floor and of course a dance floor so there is no problem if there is rain. We made full use of the bridal suite the day of the wedding, with makeup and hair dressers coming in. We also brought food in and used their dishes and then ran the dishwasher. Everyone who attended had a wonderful time and commented on the food, the setting and the staff. It truly was all my daughter and son-in-law could have asked for. We also took pictures with the women and the men separately before hand and that was also no problem, even though the winery itself was open. We truly felt as if the place was ours for the day!

    Crossing Vineyards & Winery's reply:

    Hi Debbie,

Thank you so much for your kind words! We really enjoyed working with you and your family, and Jen and JP were so gracious as well! It makes our job so rewarding. :-)

We are thrilled to hear that you all enjoyed the wedding, and hope that you will stop by to see us again in the future. :-)

    Kind regards,
    Kate & Margo

My now wife and I found Crossing Vineyards when we went to a wine tasting event there. When we saw the ten up, we immediately inquired about using them as our wedding venue.

In the year and a half that passed between booking the venue and our wedding date, Crossing Vineyards' wedding coordinator Kate was nothing short of responsive, professional, and caring. My wife had a very particular vision for how she wanted to decorate and highlight the space's natural beauty, and Kate was always helpful in responding to our calls, emails, and even in-person questions when we stopped by for more wine tastings!

The property has the tent up year-round, which was unique to many of the other outdoor venues we looked at in the area. This meant no additional tent/floor rentals. When we went for our food tasting, our expectations were exceeded and we were very happy with the cocktail hour and dinner menu offerings. Our guests would later rave about the pumpkin ravioli and the crabcake and beef pairing they had for dinner.

The wine was delicious, and is included in the cost of the wedding. Kate was also very helpful (and incredibly accurate) in advising us how much we should purchase in terms of beer, liquor, and mixers for the night.

Everyone is still raving about how unique and picturesque our day was. I would highly recommend Crossing Vineyards to anyone.

    Crossing Vineyards & Winery's reply:

Thank you for taking the time to share your kind comments!! I always welcome feedback, and of course I am thrilled to hear that you loved the wine, the food, and the setting. Hearing from happy couples makes my job so rewarding! I really enjoyed working with you both...you brought so much creativity to the table, it made things fun. :-) Best of luck to you and please come visit at the winery any time you're in the area!!

We held our wedding on 9/25/10 at Crossing Vineyards and Winery in Washington Crossing, PA. We would recommend this spot to any bride and groom who are looking for a unique and romantic venue for their celebration. The grounds are lovely - and well maintained by the the Carroll family who own the property and take special care to ensure that it is beautifully landscape and manicured. This summer was particularly dry - but the lawns and vines were lush and green due to their careful care.
The events coordinator, Kate, was a pleasure to work with and was very flexible when we asked for a few special changes in their usual offerings. The wedding took place on the lawn in front of a pretty arbor and in view of the grapevines. The cocktail hour was held in a garden complete with fountain and covered area. And, the reception was held in a large, attractive white tent. It was really spectacular and our guests absolutely loved the venue.
The food was great - and served like clockwork - very efficiently (we had 125 guests.) The wine is very good and one of our friends - who owns a wine bar - told us that, "The cabernet was 'off the hook.'" High praise from him.
The Vineyard offers a DJ from Pulse Entertainment who got everyone up and dancing - and he (Josh) kept the music flowing and the dancing didn't stop.
The staff ensured that everything went smoothly and that we enjoy the day. It was perfect.

Crossing Vineyards, and KATE- their event coordinator made our 'destination wedding' ( we are a military couple who had family in the area but we were stationed in NC) a dream come true. Every detail was PERFECT! The recommended DJ, musicians, make up artists, hotel and shuttle arrangement, were a tremendous help. Our guests loved each moment of our wedding ceremony in the quiet peaceful garden area, and loved even more that all they had to do was walk to the tent for the reception. The MENU choices were fabulous, the staff was amazing, the sense of us being family rang throughout the day and each time we interacted with the vineyard by phone e mail or in person the year prior to our wedding. To this day all of our guests say our wedding was the best wedding they had ever been too. We loved that we were able to serve wine - and plenty of it- to every guest and that we were also able to bring our own drinks to be served to our guests by the vineyard staff. We had enough hours'd ourves to pack up and use for our picnic the next day! The grounds were pristine for photos, immaculate for the reception, and the flexibility for rehearsals and last minute weather issues was FANTASTIC! We highly recommend Crossing Vineyards for the best OUTDOOR wedding you could ever dream of!

The setting for our wedding was perfect. We had our ceremony on their lawn and our reception under the tent. Everything was in full bloom since it was right before the harvest, so the setting was beautiful. The event planner was wonderful to work with. She was very responsive, always willing to help out, and ran things very smoothly the night of the wedding. I would highly recommend.

    October Wedding

It’s a beautiful venue, but understand the foliage and tenting options will vary by season so you’re not disappointed. The staff is amazing and really will keep you on track with planning. You need to pick everything down to the spoon so be prepared for that and I would really say if you’re particular you should hire a “day of coordinator” to make sure your vision comes to life. Bridal suite is beautiful- make sure you know who is going to clean and pack up before the end of the night (that’s what I did during my cocktail hour instead of greeting guests). They were flexible is picking up some decor the next day but only because there wasn’t a wedding that Sunday thankfully. Wine is amazing and Margo really worked with us to understand how we could make our day as beautiful as possible. She is exceptional and very experienced.

    Crossing Vineyards & Winery's reply:

Jessica, thank you for sharing some tips and tricks for future Crossing Vineyards brides. You cannot go wrong with a day-of coordinator! She will bear the brunt of set-up and stress, leaving the bride, groom and immediate family more time to enjoy the day. We hope you and Mark are enjoying your newlywed status and hope to see you soon for a wine tasting!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! We had our wedding at Crossing Vineyards and Winery on September 26, 2015 and it exceeded all of our expectations. I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day, everything was taken care of! Margo was absolutely amazing. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She made the planning process smooth and easy. Margo was always quick to respond to emails and was helpful with everything. The vineyard itself is so beautiful and the service was great too. My only tiny complaint is that I am missing some vases I provided for the wedding, but I don't know where they went so I can't blame anyone. I just wish they would have been packed up at the end of the night. BUT if that's my biggest complaint then I really shouldn't be complaining! I would absolutely recommend Crossing Vineyards. They made my wedding a dream come true! It was like a fairy tale :-)

Our wedding at Crossing was absolutely perfect! Kate and Margo were super easy to work with, and they really put in a lot of extra effort to help our special day come to life. They also made the day of very easy, with a beautiful bridal suite on site, flawless execution of the ceremony, and a server dedicated to me and my new husband for anything we needed during cocktail hour/reception. Guests could not stop raving about the beauty of the venue, the food, and the awesome party :-) The only thing I would note for potential brides is that due to township noise regulations, you do have to use their DJ. Our DJ ended up being AWESOME so it totally worked out, but if you have your heart set on a live band or a particular DJ, it could be a challenge. Overall, it's a fantastic venue and I would highly recommend, especially for any bride who has always dreamed of a gorgeous outdoor wedding!

There are great things and bad things about this vendor. The best thing is the space. The vineyards are beautiful and the dining space is absolutely lovely. Also, the wine is very good quality and the food is good. Unfortunately, the portions are small so I felt that the value was low. Going along with the value is the fact that the vineyard managers are cheap. When we went for our tasting, my fiancé loved the sliders. He asked if he could try another, and the waitress told him that he was only allowed to try one. I was shocked. My guests commented on this during the wedding as well-- the staff was very cheap with pouring wine. And our entrée portions were very small. I was disappointed. Also, when we stopped by the vineyard on the night before our wedding to drop off floral arrangements and a seating chart, they didn't even offer a glass of wine. What type of venue does that? My husband and I had a two-day wedding and our other vendor was the opposite. When we went in for a tasting, they sent us home with dessert and offered a glass of wine. When you spend thousands of dollars on an event, you expect that a vineyard would offer a glass to toast your event. I was disappointed.

And finally, the worst problem is the lack of flexibility. If you host your event at the vineyard, music must stop at 10pm, you may only use the vineyard's preferred vendors, and there are strict time limitations.

And one final note, the vineyard did not exclude other guests during our wedding. Tour groups visited during our event and they interfered with our privacy and photo opportunities. I was very upset to see so many people intruding on our special day. I understand that the vineyard is a business, but when you pay a non-negotiable high fee to rent the space and use the facilities, you expect exclusive use of the space.

I would not recommend the Crossing Vineyards.

    Crossing Vineyards & Winery's reply:

We always appreciate hearing feedback from our couples and are disappointed to hear that you were not 100% satisfied with your experience. There are obviously no excuses for leaving you with the impression you have of us, but we would like to provide some background for you.

The "tour" you referenced was a ceremony rehearsal for the next day's wedding. The group that arrived to rehearse was larger than anticipated, and we do regret that you felt they imposed on the privacy of your event. We will certainly take a key learning from this, but please know that we did our best to keep the rehearsal short and separate from your private space.

Regarding your comment about our vendor policy, we actually are quite flexible on this matter and allow our couples to use their own ceremony musicians, florists, officiants and photographers (as you did in all four instances). We also permitted you to bring in your own wedding cake.

We are sorry to hear that you felt the servings of wine were inadequate. We do pour each glass of wine in the appropriate 5-ounce serving, rather than filling the glass to the top (to allow the wine to breathe) but guests are always welcome to simply ask for a refill! The wine is never in short supply here and we include an open-bar of our wines with all of our weddings.

As we are in a residential location, we do adhere to a noise ordinance and music must end by 10pm; this restriction comes from the township and is therefore not negotiable. However, we do of course always disclose this upon meeting with prospective clients, and hope that when a couple does ultimately book with us they are comfortable with these terms.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We are always open to suggestions on how we can improve, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly to discuss further.

    Kind regards,
    Kate and Margo
