  I cannot say ENOUGH good things about the Crowne Plaza Suffern-Mahwah. From the moment I walked in the doors the first time and saw the waterfall garden and atrium I knew this was the place I wanted to get married. The pergola garden was a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony, and the ballroom is UPDATED with beautiful chandeliers, a huge dance floor, and neutral but beautiful decor. We planned our entire wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party, Sunday breakfast, and hotel block) with Tracy Marvin who was easygoing and flexible with all of our requests. She was very timely in responding to my emails and phone calls and made it feel like I was the most important client she had every time I spoke to her. I was impressed by her ability to remember everything we discussed. From a last minute Friday night welcome dinner planned by my in-laws to the placement of our centerpieces Tracy's attention to detail was unmatched. Our maitre d' Diego made sure the day ran absolutely flawlessly and was extremely attentive not only to me and my new husband but also our families. My grandmother wanted to take him home with her. We were beyond impressed with the service, the food, the accommodations, and the absolute ease of everything. I could not have asked for a more perfect day.

  Positive Experience

  We had our rehearsal dinner and guests stay at the Crown Plaza for our wedding. Our wedding transportation was also booked through the hotel. Tracy went above and beyond to help make the weekend run smoothly. She was prompt in her responses back to me throughout the planning process and did all the bookings for me. Our rehearsal dinner was held in a private room. The food at the rehearsal dinner was amazing and Diego made sure every guest was beyond satisfied. The day of the wedding Tracy informed us when our shuttle had arrived. After arriving back from the venue the hotel had a room ready for us to relax in. Everything was wonderful!

  Magnificent!

  The Crowne Plaza in Suffern, NY was like a gift from above in hosting our wedding ceremony! We worked with a number of staff that presented themselves to the quality and professionalism that we recommend to anyone seeking a venue service. We worked with Tracy Marvin, who made our special day magnificent! Her patience, advice and total professionalism made a short notice event superb along with Diego, who showed himself above any experience we’ve yet seen from a Maitre D. Jasmine who at the end of her shift showed no less and the other staff! The food was excellent, the ballroom was beautiful! Simply said, Crowne gets the Crown! Highly recommended and kudos to keep us coming back for future events.

  Wonderful wedding

  Wonderful wedding for our son and daughter-in-law. The staff was extremely helpful, responsive, and friendly. All the physical spaces we used were nicely done and comfortable. Would highly recommend the Crowne Plaza.

  We utilized CP Suffern for our wedding hotel blocks, transportation and also for our after party. Working with their Catering Sales Manager, Liz was absolutely fantastic. She helped us book our hotel blocks, transportation to our venue as well as food for our after party and breakfast tickets for our guests. She was professional, kind and responsive. The hotel itself is warm and inviting everything was spotless. The front desk staff was professional and friendly on a VERY busy wedding weekend and gave everyone proper time when checking in/out—at no time did people feel rushed. I cannot say enough good things about the facility and would highly recommend to anyone in need of space/accommodations in the area

  The service was exceptional. The reception was a hit with my family & friends. I loved that they followed what we planned from the begining. I had no surprises that day. Everything went acording to pland and on time. The price was affordable & i liked that they work with you and your budget + the number of people you want to invite. I had over 400 people and everyone was very happy with the service and the hall. The hotel is beautiful on its own, i liked it that they made me feel like the wedding was part of their agenda that day. I felt everyone was striving to make me happy. I would highly recommended it.
