  Dar is amazing! 5 Stars!

  It was a joy to work with Dar and her husband Ron for our engagement photos and wedding. She is an absolute artist and takes breathtaking photos, and is just a lovely human to boot. She was extremely attentive, warm, communicative, and easy to work with through the entire wedding process. On the day of, she was a calm and relaxed presence and our families loved her! We can't recommend Dar highly enough. Hope we get to work with her for a future celebratory occasion. 5 stars!

  We recently had Darlene DeVita Photography photograph our growing family of 15 for the second time in four years. Darlene does a fantastic job making the shoot both fun and productive. The wonderful thing is we will have her fantastic photos for generations to come!! Thank you so much, Darlene!!

  Darlene took such care with our wedding that we've had her at 2 family bar/bat mitzvahs since. Our photos truly reflect our family and capture the fun and energy. Having a 2nd photographer (Ron) also meant we didn't miss thing. Hope she'll be available for our next celebration!

  Excellent humans and highly professional service

  Dar and Ron were amazing. We are way overdue for this review but we have been handing out their information to every newly engaged couple we know. The pictures they produced were candid and beautifully shot. Lighting and angles were all diverse and unique. They captured moments that we will always be able to remember despite the world wind that some couples experience. Working with Dar was easy and fun. She is friendly, accommodating and incredibly intelligent. We would work with her again in a heartbeat.

  If you are looking for the best wedding photographer around... your search is over! Darlene embodies everything that you could ever wish for. She photographed my daughter's wedding and we could not be happier! She captured the day in such a beautiful, natural and artistic way. From our first meeting, through every step of the planning, the wedding itself and of course the final viewing of the photographs, Darlene was the BEST. Professional, warm, communicative, responsible, and of course, above all, simply an amazing photographer. She and her husband Ron ( an amazing professional photographer as well) put everyone at ease with their fun and relaxed manner, capturing the spirit of each moment. They absolutely brought out the best in the bridal party as well as the guests. We have all looked at the photos over and over again, and they make us laugh and tear up each time. Even the "formals" look so relaxed, I don't know how she did it. I highly recommend her!!

  Darlene was an amazing photographer! Darlene was very nice, and her enthusiasm put my mind at ease when planning our wedding. She was responsive to all of my many questions and of course did a fantastic job with taking pictures at our wedding, I would recommend Darlene to anyone planning a wedding!

  We connected with Dar through the caterer for our wedding, and boy are we glad we did! We really wanted our wedding photos to reflect the feeling of our wedding, and Dar was fantastic! From the first time we met her to doing an album, she was great -- relaxed, knowledgeable, and with *great* vision -- when we first got the photos, we were amazed at how she had caught what we would consider "iconic" looks that really reflect the personalities of the people we love.
  
  Dar was also just a joy to work with. We actually had a huge unexpected downpour at the moment of our wedding (even though it was gorgeous an hour beforehand), and Dar took it all in stride, capturing fantastic shots of our guests and woebegone outdoor ceremony setup in the drenching rain. Additionally, my husband's parents were, unfortunately, unable to come to the ceremony due to international travel issues, but Dar worked with him to create a gorgeous album for them. She made the process easy, and the product was fantastic. My in-laws love it. We could not recommend her more highly.

During the planning process she was very responsive and attentive to all of our questions and concerns. On our wedding day itself, she and Ron were perfect: they were engaged and supportive, but never got in the way. They handled a minor crisis -not in any way their fault - with absolute professionalism. Most importantly, the photos we got were phenomenal. They are gorgeous and meaningful, without being cheesy or overly sentimental. We ordered prints (you should, too). We didn't end up getting an album, but I did get to see some she had made for other people, and they are beautiful, too.

I also knew of her wedding work that I had seen in a gallery. I was so lucky to get her for the wedding.   my husband and I have been together for 40 years. we have lots of photos of us when we were young but wanted one of us now. Darlene picked the perfect venue to photograph us in and got the most wonderful photographs.. My husband is very self conscious about having his picture taken but Darlene managed to make him feel comfortable and look relaxed. we love the photos.   Darlene is a wonderful photographer -- not just a wonderful wedding photographer but a great artist with an eye for detail and an ability to capture the spirit of what makes each wedding unique.
  
  I spent a lot of time pouring over photographer websites and portfolios looking for the perfect photographer for my wedding, and I am so happy that I chose Darlene. More than any other photographer I looked at, Darlene really captures what is unique and special about each wedding without being too cute-sy.
  
  She was also so much fun to work with and so professional. She was very easy to work with and to plan with in the weeks leading up to our wedding, and her professionalism gave me a lot of confidence and helped me relax. She made everything she did seem so effortless, which really helped with the stress level on our wedding day. She was always friendly, positive and easy to work with -- she never felt obtrusive even though she managed to get so many great pictures!
  
  Most importantly, though, I am so, so happy with her photographs!! She really captured both the look and the feeling of our wedding and I am very, very grateful. She gave us all of the photographs she took on a DVD, and I spent nearly 6 hours the first day we got the DVD looking through and appreciating each one. Even now, every time I look at them I notice something else that I love about them.
  
  In addition to our formals and wedding party, she got so many great candids of our guests at the reception! I have sent many friends photographs Darlene took of them at the reception and they absolutely love them.
  
  Darlene shot most of our pictures on a digital camera, but she also took a few with some of the interesting older cameras she has on black and white film. These turned out to be some of my favorite formals and really added a special touch to our album.
  
  I would highly, highly recommend Darlene to any bride-to-be (or anyone looking for a great photographer for a portrait or other special event). She was one of the best investments I made for my wedding!! You only get one take for your wedding -- and as I learned as a bride, it goes by so fast that you really want great photos to help you remember all the details-- so you really want someone with the experience and talent that Darlene has!

  Darlene and Ron are the perfect combination. They were able to catch all of the "moments" of our wedding. I love the natural shots that really convey the feeling and experience of the day. The shots that are more structured were done so well too. I loved the flexibility with all of my requests for different types of photos. I would never hesitate to hire Darlene again for any shoot.

  Dar Devita was a referral and I couldn't be more thankful for that! Dar was so flexible in negotiating a package that worked with what my husband and I wanted (2 photographers, photography of rehearsal dinner, etc.) as we had a weekend wedding. We met with her at her studio and instantly connected; Dar has such a gentle and calming manner about her which is definitely something a bride and groom needs on their wedding day! One of the aspects of the package she offered that stood out to me was that she provided 4x6 prints of all the proofs in archival boxes. What a gift! I can now scrapbook or use the additional photos to create a separate album of our own. Other photographers simply offered a book of the proofs and the images were thumbnails...barely visible. Dar is first class the whole way. We know she was at our wedding because we have the photos to prove it, but we weren't aware of her presence. She is exceptionally discreet which makes for better quality candids! The process of putting together an album after the wedding took quite a bit of time, but I loved it because every 4-6 months I would get to enjoy going through the best photos and that would remind me of how wonderful our wedding day was. As time has gone on I have found myself looking forward to seeing Dar to finalize the album, but am sad that soon we won't have the wedding album as an excuse to meet! I guess I will simply have to employ her for future family portraits. Lastly, while Dar is not cheap she is a stellar photographer and she has been wonderful to work with in paying for our wedding album; we don't have unlimited funds and as such had to pay for album in installments which Dar didn't think twice about and was very understanding about. Her compassion and professionalism make her simply the best. I would recommend her without hesitation.

  Darlene is an incredible photographer with a great imagination. I was so impressed with the photos she took and I had a huge selection to choose from which was also a plus. Even though there were so many pictures, they all seemed so different because she uses fancy lenses and switches up the scene and poses. She's also very professional and has a fun loving personality which we clicked to right away.
  
  She's so great that we've used her for a number of other occasions including graduation parties and even my Mom's wedding back when I was a child!
  
  I coulnd't say enough great things about Darlene and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for high quality service who wants to enjoy themselves at the same time.
