Wedding engagement photo session - 1/26/2014

Meeting Deanna has been such a blessing and relief for my future hubby and I!! It's very important to have a photographer who is creative, flexible, talented and genuinely kind as well; Deanna possesses all of those qualities and many more. Prior to meeting her in person, I was a bit concerned with having an amateur photographer capture the many special moments of my wedding day, therefore, we agreed upon having an engagement session (a few days before I was moving out of town - which was really sweet of her, since it was such short notice with my move and all). It truly says a lot when you encounter someone who enjoys what they're doing - it comes naturally. My fiance' and I thought it was super cool that Deanna's husband served as her "impromptu assistant" for the day as well. He was so nice and helped carry cameras, my coat, purse, etc... How awesome right?! I just felt comfortable the entire time.
After our session, she told me that she'd have our photos ready soon (I figured a couple of weeks or so), but nope, she had our initial photos ready for our review before I left, so my fiance' and I could view them together. :) WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM!!! It takes a lot to get him excited, and immediately, he was like, "soooo, she IS going to photograph our wedding right?" LOL. She asked me to select a few photos that I'd like her to work on further, and I did - I couldn't believe how well she edited each photo - even one photo where my hand was showing in a reflection, but I didn't want it seen in the final product - she fixed it all. My future hubby and I LOVE the final product and are soooo excited for our June wedding and the moments which will be captured forever, via photography by Deanna Wiles.
