  From Ceremony to Reception

  Working with DJ innovations was exceptional. We talked a few times prior to the wedding and he made planning the music selections (or music you don’t want played) a breeze. Michael played acoustic guitar at our church ceremony, played guitar with a steel drum player at our cocktail hour and then was the DJ at the reception. Our request for the day was that music progressed from traditional for the ceremony to dancing/caribbean at night and he did just that! From the first song after dinner until our reception ended he had guests on the dance floor. It was so fun and everyone was amazed he worked with us all day long. Michael is very easy and kind to work with and was happy to accommodate our requests.

  He played acoustic guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour and then DJ’d our reception. So you get the best of both worlds. He is incredibly talented, and our guests just loved him. The acoustic guitar just adds something special.

  Talented musician, entertaining DJ

  Michael is such an incredibly talented musician and he crushed the music for our wedding in the Keys, dancing into the wee hours! We loved walking down the aisle to live music - what a lovely option that we thought would have been out of our budget. Michael is extremely friendly and professional - we highly recommend hiring him for your wedding!

  Amazing Guitarist & Fun DJ

  Michael was an amazing DJ and guitarist to have at our wedding at Hawks Cay Resort! He learned an acoustic song for my husband and I and it was perfect! He got the party started and was attentive to the music we wanted during our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception! His steel drummer also helped create the keys vibe we wanted for cocktail hour!

  Michael was an amazing DJ and guitarist to have at our wedding at Hawks Cay Resort! He learned an acoustic song for my husband and I and it was perfect!   Say yes to Michael at DJ Innovations

  Michael is incredibly talented and easy to work with. He beautifully played the guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour and kept the party going as DJ for the reception. Our guests couldn't say enough good things about him after the event. He played exactly the right music the entire night. Michael is spectacular. Hire, hire, hire!

  Michael at DJ innovations made my wedding day that much more special by learning a song on the guitar that he played acoustically for my wedding ceremony. He did an amazing job as a musician as well as a DJ. My guest had an amazing time dancing all night!!! Do not hesitate to use DJ innovations. He is the BEST!!!

  Michael was fantastic! We loved that we were able to have one person to do both live classical guitar for our ceremony/cocktail hour, and DJ for our reception. Michael even learned 2 songs for the ceremony for us and played them fantastically!! He listened to our musical interests and also improvised where necessary to get the crowd involved. Thanks for making our wedding wonderful!!

  Mike with DJ Innovations was hired for ceremony music, cocktail hour music & reception music. We could not have been happier with everything he did. He was very easy to get in touch with in the hiring process & when we just had questions. Mike offered a variety of different options from a band, acoustic guitar, singing, & DJ. We ended up deciding on acoustic guitar for the ceremony with a little singing included in the processional up the aisle after the wedding, and then DJ for the cocktail hour & reception. He did a fabulous job with guitar & with singing. His choice of songs for the cocktail hour & for the dinner portion of the reception were just perfect & then he really did great with the reception songs. He gives you paperwork to fill out with your idea of a "must play list" & a "do not play list" also with sections on who will be giving all of the different toasts & what songs you want for bouquet & garter toss. Very organized, went right down the list at the reception, didn't miss a beat....truly wonderful! Could not be happier with our decision to choose him for all of our music needs!!

  Mike wasso responsive to all our needs and just a pleasure to work with.
  
  I know that Sarah and Geoff had some special requests and Mike was able to play that music for them.

  It was a pleasure working with Michael. Although he was the DJ we requested, he was not available but set us up with Walter who did an outstanding job with his classical guitar at our wedding. His instrumentals prior and during our wedding were just wonderful and everyone commented on how lovely the music was during the ceremony. The DJ part of our wedding was also performed perfectly - and that is exactly how everything went working with this team. From the first phone call thru the wedding reception, these guys were great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who is planning a "perfect" wedding.

We wanted to avoid people requesting the chicken dance etc.. and he honored our wishes. There was not one song at our reception that we did not request. If we just requested a certain artist etc.. he found songs by that artist that fit the wedding motif. It was wonderful. He brought a steel drum guy for our cocktail hour.. Again, perfect... Afterwards he even sent us 2 CD's of all of our wedding music. I would use him again for sure!!!

He also played classical guitar during our ceremony, which was so soft and enjoyable...and very different from what people expected. We really enjoyed working with Mike and we had only psotive interaction.

  Michael at DJ Innovations was wonderful. He played classical guitar during our ceremony and then served as the DJ at our reception. He was very responsive to our needs and we were very pleased with how everything turned out. We found him very easy to work with, and he was kind enough to provide a microphone for our officiant as well at no extra cost. Recommended. One note: we found he responds more quickly to phone than to email, so if you want to get in touch quickly, that is the way to go.

  Michael was great and really helped my husband and I get comfortable with how our wedding was going to flow. During the event, he was professional and fun and we are THRILLED with the service he provided to us.

  Mike from DJ Innovations was great! He knew exactly what I needed & when it came right down to it, he delivered. He was very professional, answered phone calls quickly...The DJ he sent out was just terrific; high energy & really knew how to keep the party going. He also knew when & what to play depending on the the time & circumstance. I was very pleased with them!
