  The Dolce was the perfect place for our wedding! From our first visit, we knew this was the place. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The staff are accommodating and very helpful. The planning process was very easy. We worked with Laurie, the Catering Sales Manager, to plan out every detail of the day. We had our ceremony and reception there. The food was amazing! All of the choices for the cocktail hour were delicious. The reception dinner was fantastic. The cake and desserts were outstanding. All of our guests complimented the meal and service. Many of our guests stayed the night and we had a delicious breakfast buffet the next day. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to have our wedding here. We have so many wonderful memories.

  The Dolce staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful. I was blown away. Throughout the process, Laurie answered my emails in a timely manner and helped me make many decisions. They never said no, were always there to help and provide ideas, and the fact that the venue had the caterer and pastry chef included made our decisions much easier! Ally was our Maitre D on the day of the wedding and I would not be able to stop singing her praises. She was there for the little things such as running to grab my flat shoes from the car and to move our bags into the bridal suite, but she also helped us organize our gift table, arrange the guests, and kept my bridal party in order! It rained on the day of the wedding unfortunately, but the lobby became a great cocktail party and you would never have guessed that was our backup plan. The parlor room turned out to be a perfect picture place! Thank you everyone at the Dolce for making our wedding the best day of our lives!

  Everything was absolutely perfect! Everyone who helped (Laurie, Ali, Anthony) went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and got everything we wanted. All the guests commented on how good the food was as well.

  Dolce was the perfect place for our wedding. We loved that we could have everything in one place: the ceremony, reception, and hotel all on site. The ballroom was perfect because we could really make it our own with our décor. The food was delicious, and we are still getting compliments on it months later! Laurie was so patient and responsive in answering questions. Ally and the whole maître d' team were so attentive to every detail leading up to and the day of. The whole team at Dolce helped make our wedding day stress free and as beautiful as we could ever have dreamed.

  My son and now daughter were married at the Dolce on 10-24-2015. The venue and hotel are beautiful and the food for the wedding and brunch was spectacular. The weekend was nothing short of spectacular. The people who work at the Dolce really understand customer service and they made our weekend magical. From the moment we checked in on Friday to the time we left on Sunday, all of our needs were met by the staff of wonderful employees. They were courteous and professional and performed spectacularly. I want to highlight just a few of the people who were exceptional at their job. To begin with, due to personnel issues beyond your control (maternity leave), we dealt with a few Catering Sales Managers prior to Laurie Guerrero being hired in that role. No question was too dumb for Laurie to answer and she responded to our inquiries promptly and with sound explanations. Our meetings with her were professional and her attitude was always pleasant, warm and caring. She helped all of us through this exciting time and clearly is someone who is exceptional at her job. She went out of her way to make sure that we were happy. Our experience with checking into the Dolce and getting to our rooms was handled professionally by Steve Jankura, the Front Desk Manager. He was there to offer guidance and advice and to make sure that all of our needs were met. He was wonderful to deal with and he frankly treated us like royalty. He treated our guests the same way. When a button fell off of my tuxedo jacket during the pre-wedding pictures, I approached Steve with my problem and asked if he had a sewing kit. He immediately jumped into action and said that he would personally take my jacket down to Housekeeping and have it sewn back on. I think he sprinted back and forth because he was back in the blink of an eye. Ally Simons and Anthony Gallo, our Maitre D team were just awesome. They made sure that everything ran smoothly throughout the weekend. I would book Dolce again in a second.

  Dolce was the chosen venue for my daughter's wedding. The staff and management were exceptional and took care of every detail necessary. The event went off without a hitch. The food was excellent. We, and many gets stayed at Dolce and the rooms, service and food were very good. I highly recommend this venue for special occasions.

  LOVED THIS PLACE!! Everything that i wanted for my wedding i found at Dolce! My wedding was amazing thanks the staff. Everything went smoothly and when i needed something it was taken care of right away. They are very easy to work with and accommodate everything.
  The food was amazing and the cake was the best cake i've ever tasted at a wedding before and i hate cake. My guest still talk about how amazing and beautiful it was. Highly recommend it.

  We found out about Dolce through a family member who went to a wedding here a few years back. We were looking to do a traditional Hindu ceremony with a venue that had an outside location. From the first meeting at Dolce with Jennifer to leaving the day after the wedding was over, everything was absolutely amazing. From the beginning, Jennifer did a phenomenal job in helping us plan and coordinate everything for that day. I was able to get a quick response to every email I sent Jennifer with a detailed answer. There was no constant back and forth because of vagueness, but rather responses that answered everything I asked and then some. We met with Jennifer at least 5-7 times before the event and she assured us each time that everything was going to be ok. Wedding planning is one of the most stressful things either of us had to do and Jennifer made it smooth and easy as possible on us.
  
  The week of the wedding, Jennifer was in constant communication with us to make sure we were both okay and if we had anything else that needed to be done. She was available to meet and speak anytime we needed her. She also was flexible enough to let us change a few things on the fly which made things a lot easier for us. She also introduced us to our maitre' de Ally, who was incredible. She made us feel comfortable from the beginning and let us know that if we needed anything the day of, that she would take care of it.
  
  Overall, we both had a great time. Jennifer, Ally and the Dolce staff took care of every detail. It's crazy that the actual day of the wedding was the only non-stressful day we had because of this team. From the morning of, to after the reception (where Ally made sure we had food waiting at our room), we couldn't of asked for a better experience. Anyone who knows anything about Indian people know that they will look for any flaw, but not one guest had anything bad to say about Dolce or the staff.

  Dolce Hotel and Resort were absolutely great in every aspect. From the fist meeting we had with Jennifer to the day after our wedding, all the staff and service was spot on! All of our guests were very impressed and pleased with the hotel, the food and service.

  We are so happy we decided to go with Dolce Basking Ridge as our wedding venue! The hotel has an intimate and modern feel that my husband and I were looking for, which is hard to find in NJ. The courtyard where our cocktail hour was held was beautiful and had tons of space and seating for our guests to hang out in. The ballroom was also great!
  
  Jennifer at Dolce made the whole planning process so easy, and organized. If we wanted to change anything that was outside of their typical wedding package, she made everything happen. We wanted to switch out the chairs and add lighting, and instead of going to other vendors to do so, Jennifer took care of everything in-house with comparable rates that you would find elsewhere. We also thought that the custom website where guests could book rooms, and where we could see how many were left in our room block, was super helpful. Our guests also really loved the actual hotel rooms and suites. We loved it so much, we stayed one extra night.
  
  The food was DELICIOUS! Our guests raved about the cocktail hour selections and dinner. The wedding cake is also included in the package, and we were able to work with their pastry chef to customize the look to exactly what we wanted. Since it's in the package, that definitely saved money in the budget since we didn't have to purchase elsewhere.
  
  We also had a buffet brunch the next day for all guests staying overnight, and it was just as delicious! Dolce also arranged for us to have an area of the restaurant for everyone to sit together. It was like having our reception all over again since so many of our friends and family stayed the night!
  
  The rate per person for a Saturday night was also super reasonable for everything that is included, as compared to other venues in the area. The rate per person for brunch was also reasonable.

  Dolce was AMAZING!! We had our reception and hotel stay there and everyone is still raving about it! The food was delicious, staff was professional and courteous, and the atmosphere is simply gorgeous. We wish we could do it all again!

  My husband and I choose Dolce for the location of our wedding reception, and from start to finish Jennifer and her team made our wedding day so beautiful! I found Dolce online when I first got engaged and it was exactly what I was looking for a more modern and simply beautiful venue! From the minute we parked in the parking lot I knew just standing outside that I was going to have my reception there with out a doubt! My mind was even more made up when I set up our first meeting with Jennifer a year and a half before our wedding date! The time flew by but every question that I had was always promptly answered, something that I found to be so reassuring! The day of our wedding went so smoothly and when it came to the cock tail hour and reception everyone commented on how beautiful our wedding was and on top of that how delicious all the food was! We even choose to have a brunch the next morning for the guests that stayed at the hotel, and the food was great! I would recommend Dolce to everyone whether it is for a wedding, or a hotel to stay in, or just a small party they were such a pleasure to work with and every last detail of our wedding was perfect!

The hotel provided an on-site pastry chef who made a beautiful red velvet cake, and they were able to inscribe a favorite poem of ours on the outside of the cake in icing. The food was excellent and very personalized to our tastes. We had a tasting about a month before the wedding, where we were able to taste all the foods we were interested in having at our cocktail hour and reception. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend the Dolce Basking Ridge as a wedding reception venue to anyone!

  My husband and I recently had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the Dolce Basking Ridge Hotel and it was nothing short of perfect. From their professional, knowledgable and helpful staff, to their beautiful grounds and courtyard to the food, it was an amazing day and I am so happy that we chose Dolce for our most memorable occasion.   My husband and I recently had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the Dolce Basking Ridge Hotel and it was nothing short of perfect. From their professional, knowledgable and helpful staff, to their beautiful grounds and courtyard to the food, it was an amazing day and I am so happy that we chose Dolce for our most memorable occasion.   Several months before my wedding I was forced to change my ceremony location. I already had a room block at Dolce so I opted to have my ceremony there as well. Though they had never had just a ceremony there not including the reception, they were absolutely amazing with everything! Accommodating, professional and very supportive!   When we arrived after the ceremony, my new husband and I, along with our guests were treated royally and we received so many compliments on the food selection as well as the service. The team at Dolce delivered 100% on everything.
  
  We had about a dozen rooms as well and everyone said that their accommodations were great, along with the yummy breakfast buffet.
  We were so delighted to have selected Dolce and thank Jennifer for making our day so special!

  Dolce was an absolutely fabulous choice for my wedding on August 13 2010. Michael and I were so pleased with the food and the layout of the ballroom. The outside ceremony and cocktail hour were fabulous!! Diego was my matre d' and he was so wonderful! He always had everything under control and was absolutely amazing. Jennifer Chambers was my catering manager and she couldn't have been nicer and more professional. Both Diego and Jennifer were so attentive and fabulous! Its an absolutely amazing place to have your wedding!!!

  We just got married and had our reception at the Dolce in June of 2010. It was truly an amazing day. From the planning, throughout the etire day and night of the wedding everything went perfectly. They were so nice and accomodating to us in everyway. Things ran smoothly, staff was friendly, and we just can't say enough about Dolce. A lot of people we talk to have never heard of it, but it's an awesome place to get married. The courtyard is beautiful on a nice summer day and the reception hall looked awesome. Food was great, great, great and the cake was wonderful. It not only looked amazing, but it tasted WONDERFUL! We HIGHLY recommend the Dolce to anyone having a party or getting married.

  Who would have thought that the old AT&T complex contained such a wonderful venue for a wedding. The grounds are beautiful, the interior is modern & artsy.
  At first we were hesitant about using a venue that we or many of our friends have not heard of. After meeting with Jennifer and having dinner at Vita our worries began to disappear. Jennifer was very helpful and open to all of our little intricacies. With little time from our first visit to our wedding day (approx. 3-4 months) everything fell into place beautifully. The food was excellent, from the day of our tasting, the night of the reception and the breakfast for 75 the next morning.
  Wily was a great maitre 'd, she and her staff were on top of everything the whole night. There wasn't a moment when I was standing still the one of the staff did not ask if I needed anything.
  Dolce also provided wonderful overnight accommodations for us and our guests.
  The feedback from our guest was great, even hearing Dolce described as a "hidden gem", and "the perfect place" for a wedding.
  The gourmet food and first class service welcomed our guest as soon as they entered the courtyard for the cocktail hour continuing for the duration of their stay at the reception, Vita Bar, overnight stay and breakfast at Vita Restaurant the following morning. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

  Everyone at Dolce was amazing. Laurie was the event coordinator we worked with up until the day of the wedding, and she always answered all of my questions quickly, and really did whatever she could for us. The property itself is amazing. I feel like I kept on discovering things about it each time I went there. Food was amazing. The ONLY complaint I have is that when we arrived at the hotel after the wedding service, there was no one there to great us or take us to the Bridal Suite. I ended up sitting in the lobby, in my gown, while one of my bridesmaids went to find my coordinator to bring us to our bridal suite. We took ourselves to the suite and the coordinator did not greet us until 5 minutes into the cocktail hour. That part was a little unorganized, so if you decide to go with Dolce, which I totally recommend you do, just iron out your arrival details.

  We had our wedding this past spring at Dolce Basking Ridge and it was a huge success. Our guests absolutely loved the facilities, the food, and the service and we felt it was the perfect place to have our wedding. The majority of our guests stayed over the night after the wedding and joined us for brunch the following morning, which was a really nice way to extend our wedding weekend. Jennifer, the catering director, and Wily, our Maitre d’, were both a pleasure to work with and made our entire weekend run smoothly and flawlessly. We would definitely recommend this venue.
