  Could not have been better. Great fun songs/mash-ups plus great arrangements. Really added to (if not made!) our wedding. Even guests who are seasoned muscians were impresssed and totally entertained. Several times the dance floor was full to over. And they nailed our request to play our first dance request. Perfect performance that led to a great first dance by the two of us. They were so good, we're going to hear them play in NYC just to be entertained! Thanks Double Down!

  Great band! They get the crowd moving, keep it classy and truly great guys. Worth every penny. Thanks Double Down for bringing so much joy to my big day.

  We were looking for something different for our wedding. We wanted to have the kind of music we like (90s rock) and no booty shaking DJ crap. We saw this fine band some years back doing jazz covers of the music we loved listening to growing up and when we decided to get married we thought back to these folks. We wanted to not only enjoy music we like, but also have it be something easily palatable for the older folks and not obnoxious like booty shaking DJ crap. Not only did their musical stylings fit the bill, we were able to work out actually singing a song with the band (my wife and I used to sing for choir) so that we could perform our wedding song. They were so accommodating on this front and the music went over so well, people are still talking about how great our wedding was.

  Nothing else to say really. They custom learned our wedding song, we had a choreographed routine to one of their songs, they were beyond professional. If you 're looking for a high energy swing style dance floor, look no further. Really.

  Great sound and stage presence. True professionals of their craft. Extremely flexible and willing to figure out a way to make the show work. Classic, NYC music, with the talent to be a sure bet (pun!).

  These guys were great. They took our song list suggestions, learned our first dance song just for us, and had the wedding completely hopping. It was great. They did an amazing job, and were entirely fun, accessible, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

  Double Down is an incredible band. They learned two songs for our reception and they were absolutely amazing, as were every other song they played. Professional, talented, reliable, accessible, fun and so nice. They set the tone for an incredible reception and we were so thankful. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

  Hiring Double Down was the first--and best--decision we made about the wedding. They are a fantastic group of musicians who really have fun with their craft, and get the audience going. Everytime someone mentions our wedding, they always talk about the fantastic band.

  Double Down was so much fun! They made the wedding come alive and the price could not be beat. They learned two songs for our event and made our first dance a huge success.

  Before you read this: This is NOT a "wedding band." They are a swing band and will not play kitchy wedding music of any kind. Double Down stays true to their style.
  
  Being a musician, I wanted live music at our wedding. We went to see them based on a friend's reccomendation and found them to be a high energy, high quality swing band. The price was fair and while a lot of people were intimidated by dancing "correctly" they all raved about the musicality of the group and would love to see/hear them again!
  
  They will learn up to two requests (within their genre) if you give them enough time (unfortunately we did not) and will work with your likes and dislikes on their song list.
  
  We loved having "untraditional" music at our wedding!
