The ballroom itself was decorated beautifully. My guests couldn't stop talking about the amazing service that the staff gave on the night of. And as for planning, Jen was every bride's dream! She gave regular reminders without being pushy and timed updated and communication perfectly. I would recommend DoubleTree to anyone!

Jen Is amazing to work with! She handled the whole wedding from start to finish and did not miss a beat! She is so easy to work with and goes over and beyond to make sure everything is perfect! I highly recommend having your wedding here!

Hands down one of the best organized and thought out weddings I've participated in. Thoughtful and attentive staff, high attention to detail. Will definitely recommend to other clients.

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton. We worked with Jen Pickel and she was great! She was so helpful and on top of everything. When you're planning a wedding it is likely that due dates and decision dates will slip your mind. Jen was always there to be a friendly reminder. We had an issue with one of the bartenders being rude to our guests and they ran out of vodka and replaced it with something that wasn't quite as good because whoever had the liquor cabinet key had left for the evening. Obviously, on our wedding night, no one had told us this but fortunately they told our parents whom relayed the message back to us. We spoke to Jen about it and she was quick to react. Our evening was beautiful and certainly perfect for us!

The wedding coordinator, Jen Pickel, was fantastic! She responds to e-mails very quickly, is fun to work with, and handled pretty much everything for the reception we had at the DoubleTree. The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars in every category were that there was a misunderstanding with the booking of our bridal suite for the night of the wedding (which was eventually resolved, but we didn't get the chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne that were part of the package - not that big of a deal, but still kind of a bummer) and several of the guests at our wedding had to stay at another hotel (which isn't completely the hotel's fault - some guests failed to book by the date the room block/special rate expired. But when they tried to book rooms outside of the block at the regular rate, some were being told rooms weren't available weeks before the wedding...) I couldn't get answers as to whether or not the hotel was completely booked for the weekend; if someone had told me that they were booked already, I would have understood - you snooze, you lose - but that was never confirmed. It was just annoying that some of the out-of-towners couldn't stay at the hotel where the reception was being held (which was the sole purpose of having the reception at a hotel) and that some of them probably didn't get the welcome bags that I worked so hard on. However, these things did not ruin my wedding or anything, just the only factors holding me back from giving a 5/5 rating! Otherwise, everything and everyone we worked with were wonderful! I would highly recommend this venue!

good place. bu difficult to work with . had fun and the food was pretty good. go here if nothing else is available for your date
