Sommer from en Ville was the MVP of our wedding.
From the moment I met her, I knew we were cut from the same cloth – she is extremely organized, passionate and very knowledgeable and experienced in everything it takes to put on a great event. I always felt I was in good hands working with Sommer.
When my fiancé and I started the process of choosing a caterer for our wedding at the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse, we were immediately blown away by en Ville’s personalized service – whereas other vendors gave us random quotes based on menus we would never want, Sommer made sure to get in touch with us right away and organize a meeting so we could talk through the specifics of what we wanted and who we were, and therefore what kind of day we were looking to have.
We never felt any pressure to break the bank for the most expensive options – in fact Sommer suggested options that would be in season, sourced closer to Toronto and therefore more affordable then some of our original ideas. This was one of the biggest selling points for us when it came to making our final choice on caterers; en Ville’s focus on local, sustainable options - and we were grateful for Sommer’s help in picking the best options that were both more affordable and more delicious (because they were at their freshest!)
Over the next several months, Sommer worked with us to curate the perfect menu and made several adjustments to the quote along the way so we always knew exactly what we were getting and what we were paying for.
We were also grateful for the tasting on site at en Ville’s offices and kitchen where we were treated to a tour of the facilities, a meet and greet with the chefs and kitchen staff, and a delectable tasting of the entire meal for the wedding, where we made some final tweaks and enjoyed a glass of wine (or two! Lol)
On the day of the wedding, Sommer kept everything moving and acted as our day of correspondent. As it happens with large events and especially weddings - there were a couple surprises including another meal that needed to be provided to one of our vendors and – gasp – we almost ran out of booze after the cocktail hour (‘cause our entourage were drinking like fish that evening apparently lol). Not to worry, Sommer took care of everything and even popped out and got us the additional alcohol we needed - no one knew we came so close to running dry!
Set up, flipping the room and the tear down at the end of the evening was a breeze and the en Ville Staff made everything perfect! It was gorgeous, everything was set up exactly as Sommer and I had planned out, the tables, settings, florals and garlands were all used perfectly and everything was so well organized that we stayed on schedule as well, the whole evening went off without a hitch!
Processing the final invoice was a breeze and we even ended up saving a bit of money at the end of the day which was a very nice surprise.
Thank you again so much to en Ville and especially Sommer for all your hard work in making our wedding the best day of our lives (so far!) we are so grateful for the exceptional care and service you provided us. Thank-you! Thank-you! Thank-you!

Kerry Sent on 06/03/2015En Ville was one of many vendors exclusive to our venue that we had to choose from. From the get go, our Account Executive Michelle Jerome was amazing. She was present for the entire reception and made sure that everything went off without a hitch, and everything was perfect!
She listened to everything we wanted and made it happen. We were able to design our own menu and tweak it the way we wanted it. The food was amazing! Our guests were all raving about how great the food was. Everything was served hot, and all of the wait staff were great and attentive to each table. Compared to all of the other companies we spoke with En Ville was a steal.
Would definitely recommend them for any event! -
User2434985 Sent on 11/19/2015My husband and I have no regrets in selecting en Ville to cater our wedding. They offered a great selection of food items, and everything we selected was delicious and exactly how we tasted them from our food tasting. Michelle Jerome was exceptional and went beyond the call of duty to ensure our wedding vision was met. Also, when our cake arrived damaged from another vendor en Ville did their best to fix the problem; for that, I am grateful.
