  Flour LA was recommended to me by a former coworker and I couldn't have been happier with my flowers. Carly has such a fresh outlook on arrangements and decor and I wanted some very simple, yet beautiful arrangements. She worked with me on my budget and was incredibly accommodating. I adore her!

  It was very important to me to have sustainable, local and/or fair trade flowers for my wedding, and that's how I found Carly!
  
  I didn't really know what I wanted at all, but I told her a little bit about our style and things I liked and let Carly do the rest. I knew she would do an amazing job, and she did. I was really blown away but how well it all came out. I was terrible about describing what I wanted, but she managed to figure it and really put together something just perfect.
  
  Working with her was stress-free!

  Flour provided the flowers for our wedding - bouquets, corsages, boutonnières and centerpieces. We didn't have any additional decor because of the nature of our venue. Getting married in the Natural History Museum meant that we wanted flowers that complemented the surroundings instead of competing with it. Carly hit the nail on the head.
  
  Neither my fiance nor I know anything about flowers or what we wanted for flowers - so we had to depend on Carly for advice and inspiration. We gave her some general ideas about what we wanted and she gave us options and examples. At one point, we had to trim our budget a little bit and she was flexible enough to work within our budget.
  
  We had a couple of other issues that she handled wonderfully as well. The flowers we wanted for the bridesmaid bouquets we wanted were not going to be available, so she contacted us with pictures of several other options and helped us decide on which flowers to use. The choice was perfect - maybe even more than our original choice! Finally, we had terrariums in large glass bowls for the majority of our centerpieces. Our venue did not allow soil, so she had to adjust again to ensure we met the museum requirements.
  
  Carly was a wonderful professional to have as part of our wedding team. Her choices are inventive and inspiring and I hope to use her again for all of our floral needs in the future!

  My color were anitque vintage champagne and golds with peaches. They did an amazing job, everything was beautiful. I loved my bouquet and the tables were just perfect.

  Wowowow! That's all I have to say about my flowers. They exceeded my expectations by far. I knew they'd be beautiful and felt confident in Carly and her team at flour, but I had no idea just how beautiful they would turn out!!! I was referred to Carly by a co-worker, and when we all met for the first time at the consultation, I knew I didn't want to go with anyone else. We had three in person meetings, and the last one was at the venue. I was thrilled with how everything turned out, and she made the planning so easy. I didn't have a wedding planner, but Carly really helped me with other vendors, and staying calm. Thank you flour for a job well done!

  When searching for the perfect florist, I was recommended Flour. During the stressful planning and financing months of our wedding, my wife and I heard about Carly's designs through my wife's co-worker. We checked out her beautiful site and were instantly impressed. Concerned about costs and qualities during these economic times, we were looking for the best bang for our buck. Luckily she came through with the most gorgeous designs for an affordable price. It created beautiful, positive energy and got amazing compliments from our relatives. We loved that she uses fair trade and she's environmentally sound. She listened to our wants and also put in her advice and creative ideas during the brainstorming phase. All in all we couldn't of had a better more beautiful and stress-free experience.

  Flour is the BEST!!!!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carly Cylinder, the owner. Carly listened to my ideas, and brought them to life, completely, while offering suggestions to make it even better. Planning a wedding is an incredibly stressful time, but Carly made it fun. My flowers were exquisite, fresh, lush and gorgeous. We had an intimate wedding at home, and I've never seen my home look so gorgeous. My favorite color is pink, and my husband's is orange.   I normally don't write reviews, but had to for my wedding. Carly did an amazing job with the flowers. They were beautiful and lush. My wedding was very formal, and she designed classic dome arrangements all in burgandy and deep reds and plums, with some light and dark green. It was beyond my expectations. The candelabras had crystals coming down and each bouquet had vintage brooches on them. The ceremony flowers was very elegant- all whites and greens lined the pews of the church and we had 2 large vases, standing on the ground, on the altar. I felt like a princess and the amount of work that went into the design was just wonderful. I've recommended using FlourLA to all of my friends who've recently gotten engaged.

  Originally I had a super tight budget, only enough for bouquets for the bridal party, but since we were planning it for a while, the budget opened and I had enough for centerpieces, chuppah, and the bar area.   Carly was great to work with, she is so kind and helpful for brides who don't know much about the floral industry. She is quick with email reply's and pricing quotes. I was quite disappointed with the flowers on my wedding day. Specifically, the centerpieces and flowers on the cake. Although they initially looked pretty, by the time noon rolled around for our reception (it was a 11-4pm reception) everything was wilted. It looked like the greenery on the cake was dying. The centerpieces were pretty in theory (colors, the wood boxes) however the flowers were so wilted, it looked very subpar. In addition, the men's boutineres were also a disappointment. They also were great in theory (wood twine, non traditional) but they too were wilting and falling off the men by the time the reception started. Lastly, The bouquets were pretty, especially my bridal bouquet. She did a great job putting together my bridal bouquet and the BM bouquets. Overall it was a okay experience working with Carly- she was so pleasant to work with and had great ideas however I just was not too pleased with how it all was executed.

  I was so sad and shocked when I read this review. This was the first time I'd heard anything negative about the wedding. We made up a sample centerpiece, complimentary, and the bride and groom approved all of the flowers. The green that looked "wilted" is called hanging amaranthus. The nature of the flower is that it hangs droopy. They also approved every touch from the boutonnieres to corsages, with the twine accents. The cake flowers had the amaranthus- the groom had raved during the sample centerpiece that he loved those greens, which is why we used them on the cake as well.
  
  I value my client's satisfaction and happiness, especially on their big day! I LOVE working with brides and making their vision come to life!
