  Working with Michelle was a pleasure from start to finish of the planning process. The tasting was very fun, Michelle was very responsive and helpful with all of my random questions, and the service at the wedding was flawless, as far as we could tell. We were a bit too excited to eat, but all of our guests said the food was delicious. We wanted an all-vegetarian menu, and Four Cafe really stepped it up with the vegetarian options - no bland mushroom raviolis here! Really can't recommend them highly enough.

  Working with Michelle Wilton and her team was a fantastic experience and took so much pressure off the wedding planning!
  
  We had several passed appetizers, salad, sides and mains- which were zucchini stuffed chicken, lemongrass snapper and a spaghetti squash dish. The food was incredible! We received many compliments on the dishes, especially the salad, the chicken, the fish and the appetizers (eggplant crostini was my favorite)...which was everything!
  
  Four also helped coordinate the rentals, and did a great job working with us to plan the tables, chairs for ceremony, the bar, and all the delivery/pickup. The servers were very friendly and helpful. They really went above and beyond my expectations for what the catering service would do and made all the planning so much easier.
  
  Overall I can't overstate just how helpful, professional, low-stress, and affordable Four was during the whole process from the beginning stages through to the event itself. I would definitely use Four again in the future for any event and would highly recommend their food, either through the catering or for dinner at the cafe.

  Four Cafe is in our neighborhood, and we are frequent customers. We LOVE their food, and so when we began planning our wedding, we inquired whether they cater large events. We were so happy when we found out that they do! The owner, Michelle, is an absolutely delightful person. One of our favorite wedding planning experiences was the tasting...we had to be rolled out of the restaurant afterwards! The food was SO delicious! She helped us choose the menu items that fit with our budget, and also with our diverse guests who range from carnivores to gluten-free vegans. She also helped to make sure we had all the rental items we needed, down to the tiniest detail. She didn't miss a thing! She responded to my incessant emails in a timely manner, and just made us feel really comfortable and taken care of. The food was amazing! We had 3 passed apps during our cocktail hour, a chicken and a vegetarian main dish, bread, a white bean salad, brussell sprouts, coffee & tea service, and an AMAZING dessert buffet! And all of this at an unbelievably affordable price. Her staff was very professional. We got many compliments not only on the food but on the service. Our dinner was served family style, which worked beautifully. Her staff also tended the bar. I really have nothing but wonderful, positive things to say about Michelle and Four Cafe. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding caterer, or even for a party. You will not be disappointed!

  The best damn catering I've ever had. We worked on a menu together, but their catering menu was already such a natural fit for our tastes. We had a November wedding so we wanted inventive takes on rich, warm comfort food. It was perfect and we spent less than our budget for more than enough hors d'oeuvres, entrees, and desserts for everyone. We gave them a request for a really weird and special type of wedding cake, and they knocked it out of the park for a tiny fraction of what a wedding cakery would have charged. Michelle and Ali are stunning and passionate chefs and they run a tight ship –– their team of servers were all over us all night. To us, the most important part of our wedding after an authentic and moving ceremony was treating our guests to fantastic food and drinks that they'll remark on for weeks after the wedding. Four Cafe more than delivered.
  
  If you're in that mid-budget zone where basic catering from a place like Stonefire Grill feels boring and cheap, but you can't afford something fancy like Heirloom LA, Four Cafe will give you truly delicious and special food for a true value.
