Luci and Ed (the owners) attended to every detail! They were hyper-focused on us having an amazing experience and we never had to worry about anything. The venue itself is so very special!

I could not recommend this venue and specifically Luci and Ed (the innkeepers) enough. Glen Ella is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places on the planet but they also have all the little details dialed in so well to make event planning seamless. It is vey obvious they love what they do. It has been two months since our wedding and we are still hearing from our guests about how incredible the venue was. Most of them are looking to go visit and stay on their own after attending the wedding and seeing Glen Ella. It truly is a hidden gem. Also the food is INCREDIBLE. Make time to have dinner at the Inn one night!

Where do I start when describing Glen-Ella Springs Inn and Restaurant? Since our intimate November wedding, I have been telling people Luci and Ed and their staff feel like an extension of our family. From the very moment I began conversations with Luci, I knew our day was going to be perfect. Luci is very detail-oriented and the vendors she helped me locate were spectacular! The Inn is immaculate and cozy and the restaurant serves the best food in all of North Georgia! I cannot stress how perfect our day was and I know it was all because of the service and kindness of Luci and Ed. Our guests were just as excited as we were to return very soon!

My daughter’s wedding was perfect! We loved that our family and bridal party was able to stay onsite. The setting is gorgeous! Luci made planning a breeze and is so organized. Every vendor was just what we would have wanted and exceeded our expectations. Our guests are still raving about the food! Both bride and groom continue to say it was the best day of their lives. What more could you ask for?

Glen-Ella was beautiful! I got so many compliments from my guests. They worked with us when we had to reschedule due to COVID-19. The property was beautiful and the food was delicious.

They are fairly strict about vendors and certain policies, but were very kind in ensuring that all guidelines were met.

Words can’t describe how perfect our wedding was because we chose to have it at Glen-Ella Springs. My dream wedding was intimate, fairytale-like, simple- and Luci, Ed, and Susan truly curated a day for us that fit everything I could have ever wanted. They made the entire planning process not only easy but FUN! Imagine staying at a beautiful inn, having meetings in the garden house to create the day that you’ve always dreamed of. They did whatever it took to make our dreams come true. It was absolutely magical having our guests stay on the premises- it created a whole weekend event. We were able to have incredible meals there and enjoy the pool. The rehearsal dinner was in a beautiful tent and our wedding was in the pavilion. Everything was gorgeous. The vendors that they suggest are the most amazing quality and you can relax and trust that everything will go smoothly. The flowers were beautiful, the DJ amazing, photographer outstanding. The food catered by the inn was delicious. You just feel the quality and care that Luci and Ed put into their inn and the beautiful weddings they have there. Many guests said it was the best wedding they’d been to. I am so thankful that I came across this venue for our wedding, it was the best decision we could have made. It gave us countless life-long memories (and a beautiful place to spend anniversaries). Do yourself a favor, and contact this inn for your wedding. You will not regret it 💕

My husband and I got married at Glen Ella Springs last fall and it was absolutely perfect. Luci and Ed are extremely responsive and helpful and they made the planning process a breeze! Glen Ella Springs Inn has such unique character that i'd describe as rustic yet refined. The grounds are beautiful, the food is incredible, the staff was welcoming and hospitable, and our guests had such a wonderful weekend. We love that this place serves as not only a wedding venue, but an establishment that we can visit for years to come :)

We got married at Glen Ella in late August 2019 and the only word for the entire weekend experience is "magical." The beauty of this place cannot be overstated, and the experience they curate for your wedding weekend is unmatched. Glen Ella's appeal is not just in its gardens, meadow, and grounds (which are beautiful), or the food (which is delicious), or in its innkeepers Luci and Ed (who take the greatest care with every single thing you could possibly need the entire weekend and for the entire planning process), but it's also in the fact that you get to spend the weekend relaxing and enjoying the Inn and north Georgia with your closest family and friends. Every person we spoke with said it was the best wedding they'd attended and that is due in large part to Glen Ella and Luci and Ed. If you're looking for a relaxing, fun, magical wedding weekend, look no further.

Luci & Ed surpassed our expectations for our daughter's wedding at Glen Ella. Looking back there is not one thing we would have changed. As stressful as planning a long distance wedding can be Luci was always prompt in getting back with us about any questions we had. Her recommendations on vendors couldn't have been better. Thank you to our wedding coordinator Susan, DJ Rob Clark jr. and archbishop John. You all did an amazing job! One of things we loved most was being able to book the entire venue for the weekend. A very intimate setting for our family and friends. From Friday nights rehearsal dinner, to breakfast, to being able to set up lunch in the garden house. It could not have been more convenient and cozy. The food was incredible and the staff was great. We had so many friends and family tell us how delicious the food was, and how it was the best wedding they have ever attended. Thank you Luci and Ed for everything.

Where do I even begin? Glen Ella is magical. The Inn itself is amazingly beautiful, but the owners, Luci and Ed, and their amazing staff really make this place so special. From day one, Luci was so responsive, genuine, and caring towards my husband and I. She always made us feel like such a priority, and always had time to chat with us about anything. We live in Brooklyn, so planning a wedding from 900 miles away is not an easy feat, but Luci helped us so much. She really knew how to make us feel at ease, and always assured us we were on the right track. She listened to our needs and wants, and made sure to be candid about the realities of certain things. She always reminded us that "This is your day, and we want you to be happy"...and we were. My husband and I love food, the outdoors, and being with our families. Glen Ella is the perfect back drop for anyone that feels this way. We expressed our love for food to Luci, and she worked with us to create a custom menu that fit our tastes. I attended UGA in Athens, and asked if they could recreate one of my favorite dishes (Praline Chicken) from an amazing Athens est. Last Resort... the staff and Luci were game!! We were also able to work together on a few special bites for our cocktail hour. This meant the world to my husband and I since cooking is such a big part of our relationship. I had so many guests tell me how delicious the food was, and how it was the best wedding meal they'd ever had. The accommodations at the inn are so cozy. It was the perfect backdrop for our natural, love filled nuptials. Not to mention panther creek runs along the property line :) It was so amazing to look out over my balcony the morning of our wedding, and see our family and friends mingling by the pool, or enjoying lunch by the beautiful garden. It was a community for the weekend. I could go on and on about how spectacular Luci, Ed, and their staff is, but you should visit and see for yourself! PS the bonfire space is amazing :)

Glen Ella is the perfect wedding venue. The Inn keepers Luci and Ed are the most kind, caring, and attentive people. They went over and beyond to make my day perfect. Luci was always quick to answer any of my questions and she helped me in any way she could. I highly recommend Glen Ella Springs, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The venue is gorgeous; the entire staff is pleasant and helpful, and Luci and Ed are AMAZING!!! It was such a pleasure and relief to work with such wonderful people. They made my daughter's dream wedding a reality!

My wedding was the most amazing day of my life - and the team at Glen-Ella Springs are the reason why. Not only is the place GORGEOUS and completely romantic, but the team is top-notch. From the service in all areas, to the chef, to the groundskeepers, to the Inn Keepers themselves - EVERYONE is committed to making sure that every person that walks through their doors have the most wonderful experience as possible. Luci and Ed (the Innkeepers) are the best team and it was a pleasure working with them. Luci is well respected by everyone around her as well as the vendors in the area, and working with her made the process much less stressful than it could have been. After this wedding I feel like they are family! It is worth the expense and I would do it all over again every year if we could! :) Having everyone there together was so convenient and everyone raved about how perfect the entire weekend was. It was truly a privilege to have my wedding here.

So far, we have absolutely loved working with Luci at Glen Ella. It is the perfect spot for us with the right amount of all-inclusiveness balanced with flexibility. Everything has been so smooth, and Luci is right on point. She has made us feel like her #1 priority, and that is so essential when putting so much money and effort into such a special and important day. We are so thrilled with everything so far, and we're very excited for our big day!

I've had the opportunity to work with Glen-Ella in a professional capacity as well as in a personal capacity, and both experiences blew me away. I am a wedding planner, and I worked with Luci at Glen-Ella on a fall wedding in 2019. The whole staff was detail-oriented, friendly, fun to work with, responsive, and provided high-quality service. Their food is delicious, too. Just a month after I worked with them professionally, I got to experience the venue as a guest. My best friend got married there and we had a blast celebrating her. This time I got to stay at the Inn for the weekend- the rooms were cute and cozy. The grounds are stunning. This is one of my all-time favorite venues. I cannot recommend it more highly!

Glen-Ella Springs was the perfect location for our wedding. We wanted an outdoor wedding with a beautiful setting, and since our wedding was small, we also wanted a venue where everyone could stay. Glen-Ella was the spot. Set way back in the woods, with mountain tops peering over the tree line, and the charm of an 1800's Inn, we were in love and booked it immediately. The rooms were great, and the complimentary breakfasts on the patio with our families were wonderful.

Luci and Ed are pros. If I can give one piece of advice, it would be to let Luci handle it! She knows what she's doing. Our wedding day seemed effortless thanks to her and her team. Glen-Ella handled the rehearsal dinner and reception dinner both and wow, was that food great! After the reception hours were over, a few of us moved over to the "house" and continued to have a great time. The venue itself is a photographers dream. And with the abundance of nature, there's no need to spend a small fortune on flowers. We were married right in the garden, and it was beautiful!

I cannot say enough about Ed, Luci, and the Glen-Ella Staff. 10 out of 10 in my book. They made the most important day of our lives perfect...

Our wedding was perfect. My husband's family was coming from all over--Portland, OR, to London, England, and we wanted someplace where we could really be together and emphasize the joining of the families and get to spend plenty of quality time together. This was perfect. We had a small wedding in the gardens and reception in the pavillion, followed by a bonfire in the meadow. The rehearsal dinner was also at Glen-Ella, and my parents threw a "farewell brunch" the morning after the wedding. Everything was amazing. Luci gave great advice and we were so happy that we took her recommendations--she didn't lead us astray! Luci and Ed are both fantastic, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The food gets a 5/5, too--it was awesome and everyone is STILL talking about it. My husband and I had a relatively short engagement and my parents and I agree that the wedding wouldn't have run as smoothly as it did without Luci's input. As it was, we got many beautiful notes after the wedding from guests who told us that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. The credit they gave us was misplaced--Luci, Ed, and their team in the kitchen and on the grounds deserve it all. It would be hard not to have a perfect wedding here. Even when my husband and I visited before we were married on a rainy weekend, we agreed that it was ridiculously beautiful and that we wouldn't even mind getting married in that romantic, rainy mist. This is a gem, y'all.

If you want a beautiful, rustic wedding that is in a gorgeous, yet laid back in an indoor/outdoor setting, Glen-Ella is your spot. Owners Luci and Ed are so professional, yet warm and kind, and have lots of experience hosting all types and sizes of weddings at Glen-Ella. My wedding there was small and intimate, but I was able to personalize it exactly the way I wanted to. I was worried that because Clarksville is a small town,that it would be small town accomodations- however, I was blown away by the details in both the amazing food and the rooms of Glen-Ella that are truly on par with a high-end boutique hotel! My husband and I plan to go back just to get away for a weekend! I truly cannot say enough about what an amazing place this is!!

My daughter's wedding was held in the meadow at the Inn this past July. Family and friends stayed at the hotel. The weekend was just fantastic.The wedding (300 guests) went off with a flair. I feel that because of the wonderful staff at Glen-Ella, Luci and Ed Kivett (the Innkeepers) were so accomodating and went out of their way to help make my daughter's wedding perfect. Luci helped us plan all of the details for the wedding. She was so very helpful in referring vendors for us to contact for the event. Everyone (and I mean everyone) that came to the wedding said that it was the BEST wedding they had ever been to. My family and friends just loved staying at the Inn. The rooms were great and the food was so DELICIOUS! If anyone is looking for a great place for a wedding, don't hesitate to contact Luci at Glen-Ella. You will not be disappointed at all with your decision. Everything was so beautiful. The landscape and the scenery make for a picture-perfect place for any special event, especially weddings!!

Glen-Ella was the perfect setting for our wedding. The ceremony was in the garden (there are several choices of ceremony locations on the property- all provide beautiful outdoor photo opportunities), and the reception was in the large pavillion. Everything was beautiful and we've gotten tons of positive comments from guests. Luci (owner with her husband) took care of everything. From meeting with us as we were touring venues to give us all the info we needed to make our choice, to quickly answering my frequent e-mails as we made plans, to making sure all details were covered on the day of the wedding- Luci made sure everything was taken care of. They took care of all the decorations for us, and allowed us to bring in our own alcohol (we just dropped everything off, they set everything up and provided bartenders). Their food was fabulous! We even used all the vendors she suggested to us in their info packet (dj, cake, minister), and were pleased with all of our choices. Most guests stayed the night at the Inn, and joined us for breakfast the next day. We were able to stay within our budget and still have everything we wanted. There was nothing I would have changed about our wedding weekend. And now we have a gorgeous, romantic place to visit for our anniversaries and anytime we want to get away for a relaxing weekend!

We absolutely loved Glen-Ella Springs Inn!!! It was the first (and last) place we looked at for our wedding! We had a Saturday ceremony so we had the Inn and the entire grounds for the weekend. It was amazing! Everyone loved the intimate and natural feel of the gardens and the Inn. The food was unbelievable! The entire staff was so nice and payed every attention to detail. I can't imagine getting married any where else. it was our dream weekend!!!!!

My husband and I were married here on 10/1/11 and it was SUCH a wonderful experience! Luci's attention to detail and eagerness to please made this such a great experience all around. We had numerous meetings before hand to make sure everything was just right and she made sure it was exactly what I wanted on my wedding day. I can't forget to mention THE FOOD. It's one of the many reasons we chose this place (in addition to the most fabulous setting, charming rooms, exceptional service, and proximity to Atlanta). The food and service were fabulous and we got countless compliments on both! Highly recommend Glen Ella for hosting a wedding/event, or for a beautiful relaxing weekend with the one you love. It's such a romantic place!

My daughter and I planned her wedding at Glen Ella Springs Inn without one glitch! It was awesome from the beginning. I was very relaxed and Luci and Ed were the perfect innkeepers. The gardens are beautiful and the attention to detail is their strong suit. Our guests truly had an amazing time. They are still calling me about what a wonderful wedding it was. I think I was the most relaxed mother of the bride ever and we planned everything from California and Colorado! I highly recommend!

This venue was a dream come true. My husband and I had talked about getting married in the North Georgia Mountains close to nature and near water but could not find the perfect place. We looked into state parks but wanted a more inclusive package...I didn't have time to do everything by myself.

This place was perfect. It is only a few miles from Lake Rabun and nearby waterfall hikes. The location is stunning and accommodated my 150 guests for rehearsal dinner (a casual BBQ with bonfire late into the night), a beautiful outdoor wedding in the garden (no extra decorations needed - the blooming flowers were perfect), a great place to take pictures, and a more formal reception complete with dancing, outdoor games, and another bon fire. The inn allowed all my family to stay right on the property (you are renting the inn for the weekend). The inn keepers made everything easy from the first stages of planning to checking out after the wedding. Almost all our other vendors came from recommendations from the inn, so although I had the choice, it felt all inclusive and easy to plan. The only thing you have to use is their catering service...and this is NOT a problem. I would say that Glen-Ella's food is some of the best food in Georgia, if not the entire east coast. I find a way to make it back here for dinner whenever I can.

The only problem was finding a place to stay for other guests. There are a few other B&Bs nearby that can accommodate guests but the closest big hotel closed the winter before my wedding which meant guests had to stay 15 miles down the highway (only a 20 min drive but still...). Some guests chose to stay in nearby campgrounds and cabins. Regardless, my guests didn't complain at all and many said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to.
