Where do I start when it comes to reviewing the Glendalough Manor? I guess I will start with Day 1!! The service provided at Glendalough Manor was impeccable from the sales presentation all the way to the big day. Everything needed was easy to access and readily available anytime that you needed. You are provided a wedding coordinator, a wedding director, and an event director all for FREE!! You seriously become family with everyone on Day 1. If you need anything they are on top of it and will even bring up recommended vendors if they are not on their preferred vendor list. They have even made a very user friendly wedding portal that makes it easy to view all of your vendor quotes, banquet event orders, and payment schedule to the Manor. No need for superfluous deposits to several vendors. They take care of all that and you just pay the Manor. THE BIG DAY: My wedding was absolutely AMAZING from begging to end! Penny, Emily, Sarah, and James ensured that I had a stress-free day. They go above to not only accommodate you, but all of your friends and family as you prepare to walk down the aisle. Even shots to calm your nerves as things become a reality. ;). I can not say enough great thing about the service throughout the entire day. Now, on to the ceremony. As another reviewer noted, the ceremony was run like a well-oiled machine. This is totally true and precise. The ceremony is ran very well with no hiccups or anything. It was a ceremony for two kings and we loved every minute. We were very blessed to be the only wedding on our big day, so we had exclusive use to the atrium as well for cocktail hour. This allowed us to decorate everything in the atrium to our Harlem Renaissance theme. Pass horsd'ouevres to the passed signature cocktails passed during the cocktail hour in the atrium blew my guests away. Then the doors to the reception were open. And that is all she wrote!! The reception decor was perfect, elegant, and first class. You can't go wrong with them!

I want to give this place 10 stars! I can't say enough good things about Glendalough Manor. From the day we toured the grounds with Amy we were sold. They are so extremely organized and will work with you on absolutely anything. First, the grounds themselves are beautiful, almost like a secret garden hidden behind a beautiful manor. You don't even need ceremony decor, their outdoor pergola and grounds crew keep the place so beautiful. Second, working with Pennie was an absolute treat. They treat you like one of the family and are so accommodating. Everything is on a pretty strict schedule but they've learned this is the best way to keep the show moving and it's absolutely true. We stuck roughly to the schedule and had plenty of time to mingle with our guests. If I could do it all over again I would without a doubt choose this venue and the team we worked with. My only regret is that our reception wasn't longer so that we could spend even more time with family and friends and that I won't be on a weekly chatting basis with Pennie anymore. I will recommend this place to everyone I can, 10 out of 5 stars!!!

Glendalough Manor is not only absolutely beautiful but the staff there is AMAZING! They will do everything they can to ensure that you have the most wonderful and perfect day! They were so accommodating to many things and were so helpful with others! I can't express how amazing the staff is there! If you're looking for a stress free day, check this place out! You will not regret it!
