User1347575 Sent on 09/25/2013I am obsessed with my engagement and wedding rings -- the diamond (and sapphires for the band) quality is unmistakably perfect, and a great value since he does custom rings rather than pre-made settings. It was exactly what I wanted and he works closely to perfect the rings -- not only with the stones but also with design - emailing back and forth with design mock-ups, etc. One PROBLEM, however, is Gregg's lack of professionalism sometimes. He can be forgetful, confusing me for other brides on several occasions, and can be flustered and ill-prepared for our face-to-face meetings... having to look up our past discussions and mockups on his computer. When I picked up my wedding band for the first time, just 10 days before the big day - he had placed diamonds in the setting rather than the blue sapphires! What a mistake... I had to drive back into the loop twice to rectify the situation, for which he was apologetic and offered to ship the new ring -- but I was too nervous to do so, especially so close to the wedding. It all worked out in the end - but no discount was offered on his behalf, and the very obvious mistake shows his lack of organization. He is incredibly friendly and I like that it is a family-owned business dating way back to his grandfather... right on the famed jewelers row. I would go back for the value, price, and perfection of my custom rings, but be warned.
