BettyEllen and Rodrick were just the best team and made my event beyond all expectations!! After a crazy year and forgoing my dream wedding for a covid wedding, our anniversary party to finally celebrate our marriage was just magical!! ZERO complaints! The food was amazing, and the staff was so nice and helpful with anything we needed!! Any event at The Hilton will not disappoint!!

We just returned from our son's wedding weekend in Nashville! We hosted the farewell brunch at the Hilton Nashville downtown and I am SO glad that we did. BettyEllen West, the catering manager, was wonderful to work with - highly professional, responsive and flexible in meeting all of our needs which allowed us to simply enjoy ourselves. The brunch was delicious and the Bredesen room was spacious and light - it was a perfect way to cap off the weekend. We also stayed there and appreciated the friendly staff and the location - steps away from Lower Broadway and the Country Music Hall of Fame and other spots. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Host your next event here and you will not be disappointed.

I was completely blown away from start to finish of the entire experience created on our special day! Every single member of the staff we interacted with was of the highest caliber you could hope for. I will forever cherish the memories made possible by Roderick and Betty Ellen. I can’t begin to be thankful enough!

Wedding cocktail hour, reception and next day brunch were outstanding. The Hilton staff provided wonderful food & drink, exceptional service and flawless execution of a very special weekend for our family and friends. BettyEllen West, the event coordinator was absolutely the best - efficient, attentive to detail and truly a dream to work with. Highly recommend the Hilton and BettyEllen for future events/weddings!

BettyEllen West was such a pleasure to work with for our recent daughter’s wedding weekend at the Nashville Downtown Hilton!! She was extremely accommodating, efficient, detail oriented and very friendly. Our guests loved the hotel, hospitality room and brunch. We have already recommended this hotel to friends for their events and if they are lucky they will also have the opportunity to work with BettyEllen!!

We had been looking for a reception space for quite some time. BettyEllen and her team provided everything we needed and gave us a SEAMLESS and stress free experience! She was willing to be extremely flexible, handled family drama/stress without wavering and truly gave my husband and I the best day. I would do it all over again with her team. I cannot recommend using the Hilton Downtown Nashville enough! I am so thankful for them and their kindness. I've heard horror stories about brides being extremely stressed out with their vendors, but we definitely didn't encounter that at all.

My daughter’s bridal luncheon was perfect! The food and service were outstanding. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive to our needs. I would highly recommend having an event at the Hilton Nashville Downtown.

The Hilton Nashville Downtown is a beautiful hotel in a perfect area. We chose it as the venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. The day I spoke with BettyEllen, I knew I had chosen the right place. She is the best. She was very responsive to every inquiry email or by phone. If I asked, she answered. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with. She made sure we had everything we wanted and more. The Hilton staff treated us and our guests well. I could tell that they loved what they do. That is the kind of energy you want to share with friends and family. I really appreciate the great service. The food was delicious and the rooms were awesome. The spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception was perfect. I am so happy that we chose the perfect place with an awesome staff for our wedding!

Betty Ellen West was amazing! She along with everyone at the downtown Hilton Nashville did everything perfectly for all our out of town guest- We had a 40 room block for our daughters wedding - our guest loved the hotel, the location was amazing and the accommodations were wonderful !! I would highly recommend this hotel and Betty Ellen West was fabulous!

Easy access to everything in downtown Nashville. This venue was the center of everything that stands for partying in Nashville.

The Hilton was my dream location and provided a perfect landscape for my dream wedding. Everything from the food, the staff, the rooms, etc. was spectacular and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with the Hilton. I highly recommend having your wedding there especially if you want an sophisticated and classy wedding location. I happened to do my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception there and it was so nice to have everything in one location. The Hilton as well as its surroundings have fabulous picture backdrops so I know the pictures and videos will be great!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Hilton Nashville Downtown and couldn't have asked for a better location! We had a lot of out of town guests and they all raved about how close they were to everything. Jackie, the catering manager, was fantastic to work with; we felt so comfortable with her and she always answered my emails in a timely fashion. The hotel has recently been upgraded and the place looks brand new. Our ceremony had to be indoors at the last minute because of the weather, and there was nothing left in the budget for draping, etc. so all we had were some flower pedals down the aisle and flowers on the windowsill and it turned out beautiful! The reception was in the ballroom and for decorations we only had flower centerpieces and uplighting and didn't need anything else! We're so happy we chose the Hilton Nashville Downtown for our wedding!

We used the Hilton for our primary block of rooms plus a catered farewell brunch and a readying room for me and my bridesmaids on the day of. The newly renovated lobby is gorgeous and the food, staff, and service were all A+. I'd do it again this weekend if I could!

The Hilton was our primary hotel block and we held 2 catered events there, a farewell brunch and a bridesmaids "getting ready" luncheon day-of. The newly renovated lobby is beautiful and I was proud to host our guests there. I'd do it all again this weekend if I could!

We had our hotel block and reception at the Nashville Hilton downtown and I LOVED every bit of it. The hotel rooms are some of the nicest I've been in, and the hotel itself is beautiful. It's classy without feeling too stuffy. The location is perfect - right in the middle of downtown Nashville within walking distance of all the bars and restaurants. Jackie, their event coordinator, was SO easy to work with. She worked with me on everything and I felt so comfortable with her. The food was amazing. The staff was so friendly. And the ballroom was beautiful! After our centerpieces and uplighting, we hardly needed any more decorations because the room itself was to beautiful. The chandeliers are amazing! If I could re-do my wedding weekend, there are a few small things I would change, but I wouldn't change a thing about the Hilton.

I could not have asked for a better experience for my wedding. The Hilton and Jackie B were so accommodating and an absolute amazing team to work with!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Hilton Nashville Downtown and absolutely loved our experience! We are from out of town (Raleigh, NC) and had a small, private ceremony in Asheville, NC but had the reception in Nashville for family and friends to celebrate. BettyEllen (catering manager) was spectacular and made the whole planning process feel simple and smooth. We were able to coordinate everything via phone and email and planned the whole occasion without us having to do a visit to the venue. Majority of our guests stayed at the Hilton and really enjoyed their accommodations (rooms and parking were expensive but to be expected with downtown Nashville). We able to reserve a block of rooms with a group discount though and received one complimentary night as bride and groom. The actual event was perfect and just what we wanted. We originally planned to have the reception outside on the terrace but decided to have it indoors due to the heat and pop up storms; however, the Hilton staff still allowed us access to the terrace so guests were able to go in and out as they pleased. We went with all house provided decorations/florals to save money and everything looked really nice and elegant. BettyEllen was very accommodating with setting up our photo board, guest book, party favors, etc and she put everything together so nicely! We did a buffet and the food was delicious. Desserts were from Nashville Sweets (highly recommend as well). And we also went with open bar. Just be aware of the added taxes and gratuity charges, we didn't take that into account with our initial budget. Our event was pretty casual and we wanted it that way, but the venue is highly capable of a more fancy and upscale event as well. The staff (servers, bartender, banquet staff, etc) was very friendly, helpful, and approachable. I truly don't have any complaints about our reception. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a prime location to Broadway. Again, rooms were pricey but thay comes with the territory. We compared several hotels in the area before picking the Hilton due to the best bang for your buck and great location. Thank you to BettyEllen and all the Hilton staff for giving us a beautiful and memorable experience to share with family and friends!

Betty Ellen was so helpful in planning our wedding! She made sure everything was perfect and on schedule. Our terrace wedding was lovely and the reception was great! We couldn’t have picked a better, more affordable spot for our Nashville wedding. I highly recommend the Hilton.

I have to agree with the other review for this vendor.

Having a 450+ person wedding severely limited our venue options in Nashville. We found the Hilton and things were great when we signed the contract and the months leading up to the wedding. A few weeks before things took a turn for the worst. The catering manager started adding random charges to the contract and telling us what we could and couldn't do. We honestly felt quite bullied and I couldn't deal with that the weeks leading up to my wedding. Thankfully I have a great mom who would go into all my meetings with me so I wouldn't have to face them alone. We had to print out our contract and show them what we agreed upon at EVERY single meeting and they acted like they were doing us a favor by following what was on the contract.

The day of the wedding...they didn't have rooms for me and my husband and our bridal parties to check in. We sat around the lobby for hours until rooms were ready. We were put in rooms on diff floors when we had agreed our rooms would be close and on the same floor to make it easier for out photographers/videographer!

Our guest did not receive their welcome bags.

We agreed upon $8 for valet parking for the night of our events... some of our guests were charged the regular price even when they mentioned that they were there for our wedding.

I spent $1200 on giant paper flowers to decorate the ballroom...after my event decorator took them off the stage, the Hilton staff threw them away along with a few tablecloths and napkins that I rented.

I feel like all these issue could have easily been avoided had the time been taken out to explain to the staff what needed to be done and what was expected out of them.

I would definitely not recommend them to a friend. Thank God the Omni just opened up, hopefully the staff here will step up to the challenge and stop bullying people.

What a sleazy wedding vendor! Everything was all smiles and collaboration when we first signed up to have our wedding at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Nashville. But once they got our deposit, things took a turn for the worst!

Where do I begin?! First, they screwed up a ton of stuff, the biggest mistake being serving the wrong entree at dinner! At the tasting they showed us this delicious panko encrusted chicken breast with a fantastic sauce. We bragged about the amazing dish we had planned to all our friends. What was served at dinner? a bone-in quarter of a very bland chicken with some kind of gravy. Nothing like the description on the menus we passed out. So embarrassing! When we complained about it the manager of the hotel told us that the entree served at dinner was right, the entree we had at the tasting was a mistake and we should have known that the chicken they showed us at the tasting was not what they were planning on serving. They couldn't even admit to their mistake!

They offered free gift bag delivery then reneged on that; they claimed that our guests had 10 drinks per person when the party ended at 11pm and many of our friends didn’t drink at all; they lost my laptop; they lost my laptop for a week; they told our lighting company where they could hang chandeliers and then changed their mind day of; need I go on?

What's worse is that the catering staff continually tried to trick us into paying more for things. They increased the price for everything from the drinks to the entrees, to even doubling the price of dessert. Then the catering manager demanded we prove they had promised us different prices. We had to show them their own contract and individually point out the pricing before the catering manager agreed to use the correct prices. The next round of bills we received only had some items changed, as if we wouldn't notice that they didn’t touch half of the pricing, and we had to go through the hoops all over again.

Unbelievable!
