The Holiday Inn offers several services included in the package that made planning for the wedding much easier. Table centerpieces and a wonderful selection of cakes were included. The Holiday Inn offered several different options for an open bar. Also, a separate room was made available for the wedding ceremony AND the lounge provided a perfect place for the
    cocktail hour.

We were overjoyed with the process and outcome of working with Loretta through the catering company at the Holiday Inn Mt. Kisco. She helped customize a package that was within our budget; we did not feel we had to compromise the things that were most important to us. The salmon entree we had for dinner (we also had a chicken marsala option) was delicious. I had placed the seating cards, favors, and table decor in Loretta's hand and we were thrilled with the result. We didn't have to ask for one thing. Loretta gave us plenty of helpful suggestions and was very professional. She contacted us when necessary to follow up with us and was never overbearing nor negligent. She was truly the glue to the planning of the reception process and we cannot say enough nice things about her. The staff on the wedding day was courteous, professional, and wonderfully competent. They checked in with us to make sure our needs were taken care of, but did not get in the way of our celebration. The tables looked beautiful and the lighting was perfect. We would definitely book another event through Country Manor Catering and recommend it highly to others who are looking to plan an intimate and well orchestrated event.

We really had a great time. It was fabulous, staff was friendly and attentative. No complaints at all. We did not specify an alcohol list - next time I would confirm the brands used. They were of high quality (not bottom shelf), I just missed a few specifics.

The Mount Kisco Holiday Inn is a nice place to have your wedding if you are having a lot of out of town guests. They are very accomadating, but not the best with details. Example- I had to pick a cake from their book, which was fine, but when the cake arrived and looked nothing like the picture in the book, no one at the holiday inn noticed. When they showed us the cake we were disappointed that no one there took the initiative to make sure the cake was correct - it looked awful. Now they did not bake it, but they had a picture of what it was supposed to look like and it was completely wrong. They also messed up the table numbers, which resulted in my mother sitting in a far corner- they did nothing to fix that. They didn't clear plates, so dirty dinner dishes are in my photos. Just little things like that that you will need to keep on top of. They'll gladly do it, but you need to direct them, which is the last thing you want to do on your wedding day. No one even apologized for the big blunders! Working with Loretta and planning everything was great- it is just the follow through and execution where they are seriously lacking.

Mount Kisco Event Center at Hotel MTK's reply:

The Bride looked lovely and arrived by carriage. The cake was ordered by the Bride directly from the Bakery and a friend
did decorate it for her. It looked beautiful and tasted delicious. The wedding was fun and the guests in attendance had nothing but compliments.

We did not have a great experience with the Holiday Inn in Mt. Kisco. They lock you into a very strict contract where you need to guarantee 75% of the rooms that you block. Additionally, if you exceed those rooms, you can only add in increments of 5. We told them that if we exceeded our limit, to automatically add rooms, which they did not and kept telling our guests that the hotel was sold out. Additionally, we told them that we would probably book the entire hotel because we had a wedding of 270 people (many from out of town). They neglected to tell us that they annually book a block for IBM every summer for conferences and basically told us we were out of luck. We were very annoyed by this because we also booked a large and extravagent brunch with them the next morning. In the end, most of our guests ended up with a room and they discounted the brunch for the inconvenience and aggravation they caused us for being incompetent. They also kept the hotel bar open until 3:30am (with a DJ) for our after party. They also decorated our room with rose petals, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne (which was a nice touch). Overall, they caused us alot of stress and anger for about a year, but in the end they pulled through and the weekend of the wedding went off without a hitch.
