    When we met with Steve at the Hyatt Regency he told us that his location dose not do a lot of social events, but since recent renovations have completed they were trying to make it a bigger part of their business. Well we couldn’t tell they didn’t host a lot of receptions, because it was incredible, their service was top notch and I cannot speak highly enough of their staff. Chef Tom made some delicious meals and our guest raved about all our food, we had two of our vegetarian’s say it was one of the best vegetarian meals they have EVER had. We had a few problems with our flower vendor and the Hyatt staff stepped up and fixed our issues and no one could even tell we had any issues. From the handling of our room block all the way through to the days after our event when we were picking up vases and other random items the whole team at the Hyatt was amazing! I wish I was better at remembering names so I could thank each of them by name but all I can say is everyone from the bellmen at the front door all the way to the banquet managers were courteous and professional and we could not have had a better experience for our reception. Thank you all!

    I could not be more happy with this venue. From the very beginning of our planning process they were helpful, consultative, flexible and extremely friendly. Steve took care of all of our needs & even thought of things we hadn't! The food was fantastic and the location can't be beat. They gave us a great room block rate that made travelling for our guests effortless. Every single person on the staff went above and beyond to make our day magical. From the valets knowing our names as soon as we stepped out of the car, to everyone we encountered congratulating us & our families throughout the weekend-you could tell this hotel takes extreme pride in the service they provide and they made it an event to remember!

    For a small (75 guests) wedding, the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill was perfect. We had a beautiful view of the Capitol from our cocktail reception and dining room -- it was gorgeous and really special for out of town guests. The food was delicious and it was served promptly and warm. The only *issue* we had with the Hyatt was with the rooms and the reservation staff. We had a tough time reaching someone who could help make sure that 1) our guests were given our block rate; 2) our guests' parking was billed to us; and 3) our gift bags were provided to our guests at check-in.
