  A choice you won't regret

  My biggest fear of choosing someone to capture our wedding is that we'd look back and feel we made the wrong choice.
  
  I can't imagine having chosen anyone other than IQVideography. Alex and his team were incredible to work with and captured our elopement in Yosemite National Park in the most genuine and beautiful way. I assure you, if you are on the fence about who to choose for your traditional wedding or elopement, give IQVideography a call. You will not regret choosing them to capture your day!

  Alex from IQvideography, is not just your run-of-the-mill videographer, he is a ARTIST. It is ridiculous how good he is at what he does that I cannot simply just give him 5 stars and move on; I need every single person reading this review to just stop where they are and just hire Alex. You do not need to look any further... I'm serious. He will be the best decision you made for your wedding. Truly, you can thank me later. This review is a long time coming since our wedding was in November 2018. But better late than never, amirite? Read on for more details and me rambling about how amazing Alex is:
  
  This whole journey started many years before I got married actually and I had come across some of Alex's highlight films from some of his previous weddings. I knew in that instant that whenever we finally decided to get married, that he would be the one. And when I meant, "the one" - I didn't mean my current husband, I meant our one true, meant-to-be videographer, of course. After all, you only get married once (not planning on doing this again), and looking back on these memories through video is the only way to hold onto those memories. Myself being from NYC and my husband from London, the fact that Alex was based in San Francisco was not a deterrent, I would have flown him out any day of the week to shoot my future wedding!
  
  When I finally got engaged, I emailed Alex right away. And said that he was my first and only choice to be my videographer in the Dominican Republic. He gladly agreed, and let's just say the rest was history! He was easy to work with, in terms of our contract, and even being open to shooting our long double-wedding (Hindu & Buddhist) with a total of 6 events over 4 days. I'm sure we were not easy clients - let's just say I am a Type A bride with a Type A mother, but Alex was cool, calm and collected and was professional, helpful and understanding every step of the way!
  
  Alex was flexible, funny and just a pleasure to work with the entire time. He was on time, worked with all of our vendors seamlessly and his partner Josh was also fantastic part of the team. I mean it is very clear Alex has had previous training as a ninja, and I think that it truly helped him be everywhere and nowhere at the same time to capture all the fantastic moments that we look back on so fondly.
  
  We not only got compliments on our highlights video, but everyone truly though we were just trying to rival Crazy Rich Asians with our over-the-top South Asian wedding. Let's just say, Alex made us and our 4-day wedding look beyond beautiful and it was amazing to get to to share those moments with our friends and family who could not make it to our destination wedding.
  
  Turnaround time for our deliverables was lightning quick, and much faster than expected. When I say that we cried, laughed, cried and laughed some more, it is an understatement. Our family could not believe how beautiful and seamless the transitions, music, speeches and quality of our film was. If perfection was an attainably quality in a videographer, Alex truly is perfection. His talent for storytelling, through video is unparalleled and if I could give Alex a million stars I would! Now we get to cry, laugh, and cry again for the next 50 anniversaries (hopefully more) to come when we rewatch our highlights and feature film. Alex, thank you for giving us the gift of these beautiful memories to look back on. We are forever thankful and grateful to have you shoot our wedding.

  I didn't know that someone who had never met my husband and I could capture us so perfectly after knowing us only for a few hours. Alex was amazing. I mean hands down amazing. We had already booked our photoraphy with IQ photo and were on the fence about video, but since we were having a tiny City Hall wedding with under 10 ppl we figured this would be a great way to share it with family and friends, so we bit the bullet and booked him. Alex was flexible and helpful with ensuring we would have the enough time for getting ready shots of both me and my husband (at separate locations) as well as our First Look, and then considering how much time we would need for footage after the ceremony too.
  Just over a week after our wedding we had the final video edit in our hands and it was perfect.
  I would not hesitate to recommend IQ (video and photo) to anyone I ever met. Thanks Again Alex for creating something for us that we will be able to look back on years from now and remember our special day!

  We cannot say enough good things about the IQ team. Our video turned out better than we had ever dreamed! I feel that Alex totally captured our personalities, our style, and our emotions fully. Everyone who watched our video has made comments like, "It was like a movie!" or "It brought me to tears!" We love, love, love our video, especially because we eloped and wanted to be able to share our day with family back home.   We got married at the City Hall last month and now all we have left are the beautiful photos and video by the brothers Alex and Joseph (IQ Videography and IQ Photo). We had a great time with them. They were very easy to work with. My husband and I were comfortable posing with them. Our families have nothing but praises for them too. They directed us well. Friends and family continue to rave about our photos and videos because they truly captured the wedding beautifully. We had an intimate ceremony of 20 ppl, immediate family only and yet by showing our photos and videos to our friends back in the Philippines, it was like they were able to experience the moment with us too! A lot of friends have told me that they cried while watching the videos. Oh, and we are from Ohio so we only communicated with them thru email and we had NO issues whatsoever. We planned to meet at a certain time and there they were! :) They listened to all our requests and I just can't imagine anyone else capturing our wedding day that way.

  I recently was holding a series of focus groups out in San Francisco for the company I work for. Being located in Buffalo, NY I had no clue who to look for or who to hire. Thank GOD I found IQVideography!
  
  Alex did an absolutely fantastic job for us. He must have been bored sitting there listening to these focus groups, but he acted professionally throughout the entire process. He showed up early everyday, took great video, even put a microphone in the middle of the table so the audio would be better (I didn't ask him to do that). He edited and sent the videos in a very timely matter.
  
  Get this, he even showed up a half hour earlier than he needed to in order to save my company on parking charges. I couldn't believe it!
  
  Alex is a class act, and because of him I can do my job and report on these focus groups to my bosses.
  
  If I lived in San Francisco I would hire him for my wedding. Heck, I might even fly him out here to Buffalo ;-)

Not only did he capture the magic of our wedding day so stunningly with his video, but he was a huge helping hand throughout it all. It was a genuine pleasure to have him and his brother, Joseph (IQ Photo), with us on such a special day.
  
  The video he created is truly the most precious gift. There is no doubt that the accolades he and Joseph receive are exceedingly well deserved. Every time I watch the video I will not only rejoice in the happiness and love of the day, but I will feel extremely fortunate for having found him. The video he created is such a special tribute to our wedding and one of our most cherished possessions. I will always be thankful for his hard work, artistry and kindness.

  I cannot say enough great things about IQ videography!! We got married in October of 2010 in the Napa Valley....while it is usually a beautiful time of year, it happened to POUR the day of our wedding. I was so worried that we wouldnt get any good shots because of the rain.....but when I watch the video now its almost like the rain was always supposed to be a part of the evening. They shot footage in the pouring rain covering their expensive cameras with jackets and umbrellas....but it all worked and I'm SO happy for the video we have and watch over and over again!!

  I cannot say enough great things about IQ videography!!   We waiting on our video still, so I'll update this when the actual product comes.
  
  I booked Alex fairly late in the game, and I'm so glad I found him! He is very prompt, responsive, professional, nice, and fun to be around! I was pleasantly surprised by how great his packages were, and how much they cost!
  
  Alex and his crew are a lot of fun to be around, and I enjoyed having them around during all the girly wedding prep! During the actual ceremony, they disappeared into the background and were SO ninja, I totally forgot they were there!
  
  He was pretty quick in giving us the preview video, which was just a few minutes of video highlights from the big day, which our vows and some music as the audio. Needless to say, the little video made me (and a lot of other people) cry.
  
  Alex is very good at what he does, and I can't wait to see our video!

  We hired Alex to be our wedding videographer for our June wedding. We interviewed several videographers, but nothing compared to Alex's unique, creative, and super cool videos, and he's a very nice guy as well! Alex created a save the date video and a love story video for us. His save the date videos are great to show your guests before your big day and his love story videos are so much fun to watch with your guests on the big day!!   If we could give 10 stars, we would in a heartbeat. My husband and I just got married on Saturday and Alex and Alex were our videographers. We don't know what more we could ask for from such an important vendor. Videography was super important to us, and Alex delivered, above and beyond our expectations. Not only did he call the day of and ask if he could come earlier, I think he stayed a little after our time with him was up! He and his team are unobtrusive, professional, fun, and comfortable to work with. His experience shooting weddings ensured that we would get all our shots and memories of our special day. Don't hesitate to book Alex and his team... you will have absolutely no regrets. Oh, and to combat the wedding withdrawal you're sure to experience following the wedding, Alex's turnaround is FAST! We got our highlights video within one week! I wouldn't hurry him though... good editing and good quality videos do take some time. :) Thanks, Alex, for being a huge part of our DREAM TEAM of vendors!!

  While it is fresh in my mind as our wedding ceremony was just last month, I wanted to write a review for Alex from IQVideography who was our videographer. What was most amazing about him is how he worked. I have often found video cameras to be a large ominous presence in any gathering but at our ceremony and during our time at city hall, it was as if he was invisible! he moves like a gazelle and i was amazed at the footage he got of our friends and family and of us--but most of all he was able to capture the fine details: i was so moved by how he put together the video and his composition style. He has the true eye of an artist! His shots were magnificent. I think a videographer is a great addition to a wedding photographer (and he and his brother Joseph make the best team( because in 2 to 3 minutes the feeling of the day is all captured. i think it is a great combination to have! And recommend Alex to anyone thinking of getting married.

  I am happy to confirm that we recently got our wedding video and he did an amazing job of capturing all the special moments of our wedding day! Our video was so touching and there were scenes in the movie that we don't remember posing for, but they came out so natural! In addition to his creativity of special effects and capturing special scenes, he does an amazing job of keeping the pace of the move flowing.   Alex was very professional when we first met. He showed me a few different videos of his work and the different kind of ways he shot weddings. He was easy to work with and was quick to respond to any questions I had. During the wedding, Alex and an assistant blended into the party.   IQ Videography did a great job with my wedding video! Alex was creative in his editing and film footage. I love the way he created my highlights video and the video copy I received from him was awesome. The picture was amazingly clear without being HD, and I've never seen my church so light and bright!
  
  His turnaround time was also very quick. All in all, I was very impressed with the quality of work he produced, and am glad I decided to spend the extra money to have a videographer.

  It has been a real pleasure to have Alex as our wedding videographer. Alex has a lot of pride in the quality of his work and will never hand you a crappy wedding video or service. He arrived early on the day of the event and is always organized and prepared. Alex dressed very appropriate on the day. His will try to customize an appropriate wedding package for you, so he is very flexible to work with.
  
  Alex behaves very professionally and is very easy and pleasant to work with and has a great sense of humor. Alex is very meticulous and is always trying to capture the most intimate and fun moments of your wedding on film with very little intrusion. In other words, you will not notice that he is there during your wedding, but he will present you a beautiful and carefully crafted wedding DVD that will capture all the unique moments of the event. We were very thrilled with the wedding DVD because it was so fun and enjoyable to watch. It is obvious that Alex has put a lot of effort into editing our DVD. He is very creative and the overall DVD captures every beautiful moment of the wedding. The quality of the DVD was superb!
  
  Our regret is that we did not find Alex sooner because it would have saved us so much time in interviewing other videographers. Luckily, we found him and he was available too! We strongly highly recommend Alex. He will not disappoint you whatsoever, unlike other wedding videographers that I have interviewed. Book him now!
