  Iris designs is the best of the best!

  IRIS DESIGNS is the BEST FLORIST in the game in Southern California! We spoke to Ricardo at Iris Designs FOR MONTHS creating the vision, talking through intricate details of the flowers and décor and he BROUGHT THE VISION TO LIFE and then some. Iris Designs EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS in every way! Not only were the décor and flowers breathtaking but Ricardo threw in some “extras” the day of, like chandeliers on the stage to really bring the vision together. It was truly a MASTERPIECE and I cannot say enough great things about Ricardo and Iris Designs. If you want the BEST OF THE BEST, go with Iris Designs for your wedding!

  We were so happy with the gorgeous floral arrangements Irises Designs made for our wedding. From the start, they were super easy to work with. At our initial consultation, we met with Ricardo and showed him pictures of what we had in mind. He showed us similar examples that he had done for previous clients. The entire appointment went really smooth and we walked out feeling confident we were in good hands. Ricardo and his team really captured our vision.Our arrangements, from centerpieces to boutonnieres to bouquets were gorgeous! We had several of our guests ask who made our arrangements. They were all so impressed. We could not be happier and HIGHLY recommend them.

  They did A fantastic job on our flowers for both our ceremony and reception. The flowers were exactly the design and style I wanted. The price was much better than other florists I had met with too!

  Irises Designs is the florist that works with the venue where we had our wedding. We met with Ricardo for a consultation to go over the flower spread that was included with our venue for the ceremony. Although we weren’t planning to obtain a quote from Irises’ as they seemed to be out of our price range, we ended up doing so after meeting with Ricardo. He was very welcoming and was willing to work with our budget. We had a fall wedding and were looking to have arrangements and bouquets that reflected a fall color scheme and were on the simpler side. I was a little worried about what the final product would be as the samples that Ricardo crafted were not entirely what I was looking for, but he assured me that the final products would be. I have to say that having a Pinterest board with ideas of what I wanted really helped Ricardo and his team deliver what I was looking for. I was awed to say the least with the finished product-everything from the crowns for the flower girls, bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres, and flowers for the cake were so beautiful. They did an amazing job at capturing what we wanted within our budget. Ricardo and his team are professional and do a great job of making your vision a reality. We highly recommend Irises Designs to anyone looking for a great florist at an affordable price.

  Ricardo was so awesome about staying within our budget but still being able to have the look that we wanted for our happily ever after wedding. He was so flexible we even reused our flowers at the ceremony for the reception. We ended up getting linens as well.
  When we went in to see our reception we were blown away! Everyone at our wedding was also blown away and I received so many compliments about our flowers, they actually thought we spent way more on our wedding than we actually did! ;)

  Look no further. Ricardo and his team are top notch quality, service and their flowers will be the hit of your wedding! I was married 4 months ago and still get comments from my guests about how above and beyond gorgeous the flowers at my wedding reception were. Yes, the price is expensive but compared to what is out there, this is the best bang for your buck! People thought I spent way more on the flowers because of how elegant and beautiful they were. I used Irises Designs for my linens and charger plates too. Together with the flowers, they definitely set an elegant theme to make my dream wedding a reality! Ricardo is easy to work with, has excellent taste and is one of the sweetest vendors out there!

  I feel like even with this review, it will not do justice to Ricardo and his team’s work. This is my homage to them. When I initially started with the wedding, I actually didn’t really care about the flowers. I only thought the florist was in charge of the centerpiece and that was it! Later did I come to realize in the process that a florist does a lot more. They are actually the key people to in making your vision and design of the day come true. I was very fortunate to have been referred to Ricardo by my planner Jennifer Huie and have the opportunity to work with Ricardo. I cannot explain the ease and comfort that Ricardo and his team provided in helping me achieve my vision. It was not an easy concept to bring a random hedge into an indoor venue and make it look classy. Ricardo and his team worked endlessly to build my hedge, design it, and matched my theme to the centerpieces. Ricardo was very responsive and had a lot of great ideas to help enhance my vision. He had multiple meetings with me to make sure I can visually see my centerpiece and bouquet and for it to be everything I wanted on the day of. I was also excited that he was able to incorporate a random concept of having a “chandelier” decoration in my wedding. I felt that Irises Design is a one stop shop. If you are like me who didn’t want to waste your time doing all this research, then Irises Designs would be an ideal to work with. They have candles, backdrops, chargers and so many other supplies that a wedding would need. If they don’t have it, they also know the right people to help you. I also really appreciated the fact that Ricardo the main owner goes out to each venue to inspect and make sure that the details and designs are done correctly. It really put me at ease knowing that he was going to double check the work on the day of, so it was one last thing I had to worry about. Everything turned out perfect.

  We had a blast working with the Irises Design team for our wedding at the SLS hotel in Beverly Hills! Irises Design provided all of the floral work for our wedding, from the groomsmen boutonnieres, bridesmaids bouquets, table centerpieces culminating with the bride’s bouquet and a custom flower wall backdrop. Initially our wedding planner had given Richardo and initial vision of what we wanted our table settings to look like, which was an outdoor glam theme, a way to incorporate the outdoors for our indoor reception. At our first meeting, he had a mock setup that he built, using some of our ideas that we had proposed. From there it was off to the races. In total, we had 3 different meetings, each one refining the look of our centerpieces until we were ecstatic with the final product. His knowledge of flowers was key, as he showcased a unique look that surpasses your run of the mill florist. My wife’s bouquet (which felt like it weighed 15lbs) was exactly how she envisioned it, a mix of flowers that I won’t reveal, but it was beautiful. I can’t thank Richardo and his team at Irises Design for all of the hard work that they put in.

  Our wedding arch was absolutely stunning with the chandelier, it was probably my favorite thing at the wedding. The centerpieces were beautiful and my bouquet was gorgeous. The flowers were the talk of the wedding.
  
  There was only one problem we encountered on our wedding day. The flowers that were on our wedding cake were supposed to be on the middle tier of the cake, not the top. But it still turned out beautiful so we can't complain!
  
  Ricardo is so passionate about what he does and his work truly speaks for itself. Highly recommend Irises Designs for any and every event!

  Ricardo and his team were amazing.. Ricardo sent me a preview of my bouquet I asked for a small change and the day of my event.. It was perfect. He did so much for our event and very helpful! Everyone loved our floral!

For our first meeting, I came in with a vague idea of what I wanted for my centerpieces and a bunch of Pinterest pins, and Ricardo understood what I was looking for. He was attentive when I talked about my "vision," and offered great suggestions on how we could achieve the look I wanted with the budget my husband and I had set. It's been 90 days since I got married, and I still can't believe how beautiful Ricardo was able to make my flowers/centerpieces/ceremony look with my budget!
  
  Also, Ricardo knows what he is doing, and he definitely knows how to make things look great. So, I recommend listening to what he has to say - it will really make your life so much easier.
  
  I've got to say that the last 2 weeks before my wedding was pretty stressful since there were many things that went wrong last minute (alas, that's life -- but it all worked out day- of). However, if there was one thing I was not worried about, it was the work that Ricardo was doing for me. So, if you're looking for a great florist, definitely go with Irises Designs.

  Irises designs has been amazing at not only my wedding but my sisters and I'm sure they will do an amazing job at my other sisters in April! Ricardo is so nice and he listens to what you want. I would not change anything about my flowers on the day... They were perfect!

  Irises designs has been amazing at not only my wedding but my sisters and I'm sure they will do an amazing job at my other sisters in April! Ricardo is so nice and he listens to what you want. I would not change anything about my flowers on the day... They were perfect!

  Let me just say that in all the research I did on florist for my wedding, there were none that compared to Ricardo from Irises Designs! Our florist was the only vendor that we picked that was not on our wedding venue's preferred list... but let me tell you they should be!
  From the moment we sat down to meet with Ricardo, we knew he would do an amazing job! From the time we hired him and up through our wedding day, he worked hard to make sure that the flowers and arrangements he was providing were exactly what we wanted. He set up several different meetings in which he actually ordered the flowers we had picked and set up real sample center pieces and a sample of my bouquet! Now, just want to emphasize how amazing this is, because every other florist I talked with would not do such a thing. They said they could show a sample arrangement so I could get a feel for the size... but not actually order the flowers we were picking and make one! This was amazing because flowers can be difficult, colors aren't what you thought they were or you might want more of one kind then another... but with all other florist, you don't know what your actually getting until the wedding day. Not with Ricardo though...
  his samples he made for me were stunning! I did make small changes on a few things from the samples which allowed me to have no surprises on my wedding day and I loved everything about the flowers! Ricardo does amazing work! You will not be disappointed with your florist if you hire Irises Designs!

  I was very please with Ricardo & his team at IrisesDesigns. I had an idea of how I wanted our centerpiece to look like for our wedding and Ricardo came thru with suggestions on how to make it even better. I was sad that I was only going to use my bouquet for one day because it was so beautiful. Ricardo's work is so out of the norm and he use flowers/plants/fruits into his work that work so well with eachother.   Adriana was awesome! She handled a lot of the back and forth communication .... wedding date changes, floral changes, color scheme changes, etc.... they were so flexible and awesome!! The flowers were so beautiful! Everyone raved about my bouquet and the flower choices!!

  Aside from saying “Yes” when my husband asked me to marry him, choosing our florist was the biggest decision of my life! I didn’t want some cookie cutter white on white with touches of pink wedding. We were getting married in October, we love Halloween and we especially love the movie The Nightmare before Christmas. So as you can imagine, we wanted something different done. We wanted people to feel like they were walking into a forest inspired by Tim Burton during autumn with a touch of The Haunted Mansion; creepy branches, pumpkins, dim candle lights, etc. With such specific detail, I was nervous that no one would be able to translate what I had in my mind into reality. I also found a picture of a bouquet that I just had to have (it was this whimsical Alice in Wonderland style) and I knew that he would do an amazing job, but I didn’t think that he would make it look exactly like the picture. Imagine my surprise when I saw it and it was identical! Ricardo went above and beyond what I asked for. He was available when I needed to talk to him; he’s so friendly and exceptionally creative, he and his wife can do anything you throw at them! Everyone couldn’t get over how beautiful our wedding was. From the iron candelabras with ivy and pumpkins lining the aisle, to the 2 large Manzanita branches covered in orange flowers with pumpkins and moss at the altar, to the branch centerpieces with hanging candles and more pumpkins…It was all perfect. Once I was able to sit down at our head table and look over the room, I actually started crying! I couldn’t believe that he was actually able to read my mind and see exactly what I saw for our wedding. And he also took what we used in the ceremony into our reception so that we could use the candelabras and the Manzanita branches as well! And he did our aisle runner for us which was gorgeous! There is no way for us to express our gratitude to Ricardo for what he did. The florist is the one who sets the theme for the wedding and he did just that. Irises Designs is the best there is!

  Ricardo is the BEST! Very nice and a pleasure to work with. He listened and gave me exactly what I wanted. My wedding was beautiful thanks to him! I received so many compliments on my flowers. The best decision I ever made for my wedding day!

  The centerpieces, bouquets, corsages, just everything was perfect! When I had any questions, Ricardo was there to assist in any and every way!

  Working with Irises I never had any doubts, worries or complaints. The staff was always there for me when I needed them and they were always very knowledgable. The flowers and decor was great and everyone commented so much and so highly of the staff and flowers. Great job and would use them again in a heart beat.
