We were so happy with our experience with James Cress Florist of Smithtown! James Cress Florist of Smithtown was absolutely amazing! We worked with Linda and George who made everything so easy to organize our flowers for our wedding. The flowers were delivered on time and were absolutely beautiful especially the wedding arch! They were exactly how I expected! Would definitely recommend James Cress Florist of Smithtown! -

Brandon just got us. After briefly explaining our style and sending inspiration pictures to him during a call, he immediately sketched out various options at different price points for us. He was personable and easy to work with. Most importantly, he didn’t disappoint! The flowers were truly our vision brought to life. -

I cannot say enough nice things about James Cress Florist! From my first meeting with Barbara and Brandon I knew they were the florist I would work with for my wedding. They were able to work with my budget and give me exactly what I wanted in the most stunning bouquets and centerpieces. I got married on August 31st and needed to add an extra bouquet and centerpiece on August 26th and they were able to work with me up until the last minute to ensure everything was done! All of my flowers delivered the morning of my wedding stayed beautiful for the entire day, and guests who took home the centerpieces said they enjoyed them for over 2 weeks after! Barbara and Brandon are truly a pleasure to work with and made the planning process fun and easy! Not only are they professionals, but they are some of the most kind people I have met in the wedding field. They are truly a dynamic duo and they 100% are the best in the business. I would recommend to anyone!! -

Wedding in May 2021
The center pieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, and other decor were all beautiful! We were extremely happy with the service and product. Samantha and Barbara communicated with us constantly to ensure we were satisfied. Samantha called to make sure I was happy with my bridal bouquet and also to create an additional three centerpieces on the day of our wedding because I miscounted the number of centerpieces required!! Their talent and dedication to making our event beautiful is unmatched. We are so grateful! -

We used James Cress for our 10/01 wedding and going with them was such a great choice! Our bouquets, boutonnières, corsage, and garland centerpieces were stunning! Many of our guests wanted to know which florist we used because they loved the flowers! I planned my wedding out of state and Barbara , in the events department, and Brandon, the head florist, were so helpful and accommodating. I sent them photos of what I liked and they delivered beautiful pieces that went above and beyond what I could dream up. Anyone looking for a florist for a wedding (or any event) should definitely go with James Cress! -

James Cress blew me away with their amazing service, beautiful arrangements and vibrant, fresh flowers. Brandon is brilliant and any bride would be lucky to work with him. I had a VERY specific vision of what I wanted for my wedding, but also a tight budget. Brandon worked with me on every gritty detail, understanding my vision while being creative in how to sub specific flowers and numbers of items to stay within budget. I spent hours going back and forth with Brandon and he was patient and professional through it all. He literally turned the solarium room in our venue into a greenhouse with flowers and lanterns adorning the ceilings and walls. The venue was so blown away by his elaborate work that they requested that our pictures be used to show off the possibility of the ceremony room for future weddings and asked us to get them a card for James Cress so that they can work more officially with them in the future. James Cress is the best florist to work with on Long Island and I would recommend them 100%. -

Great experience
My wedding was December 14th 2019 and James crest was the florist I used for my bouquets, corsages and flower arrangements for the church. (I made my own centerpieces) I was so happy with how everything looked. I had met with Brandon to talk about what colors I liked but other than that I knew nothing . I had no idea what it would all look like. But Brandon did a beautiful job putting everything together for me and really made the experience so fun! Barbra who I spoke to on the phone multiple time was always kind and very helpful with any questions and concerns I had. Can’t say thank enough good things !

Everything was amazing and James cress made my day even more perfect. There were no issues with anything all of their setups between center pieces, bouquets, etc everything was so beautiful! I would defiantly be using them for my next big event! -

We are so happy with everything that James Cress did for us ! Their flowers are flawless along with the way that they present! Working with Barbara and Brandon was so easy and enjoyable. Brandon had us laughing our whole visit and just so comfortable with the fact that he knew exactly what he was doing. And Barbara was just so easy to talk to, on top of everything and very professional! I recommend them 100 percent ! -

September 21st 2019 wedding - Hamptons affair
Their professionalism and attention to detail is unparalleled. Working with Barbara and Brandon was amazing and fun! Brandon took our vision and made it a reality; our flowers came out better than we could have ever imagined! Whoever said 'no one ever remembers the flowers at a wedding' didn't use James Cress! Our guests were blown away by the centerpieces and the bridal bouquets were gorgeous! I can't praise this team enough. They really hit it out of the park! Going with them for the most important day was a no brainer. 11/10 stars! -

I would highly recommend james cress florist. Barbara and Brandon are amazing to work with. They are responsive, kind, and reliable and are willing to work with you to make your center piece dreams come true without breaking the bank. Their flowers are beautiful and made all of our pictures that much better as well as brightened our church and reception venue. I would definitely go with James cress if you are looking for quality flowers and to work with incredible people. -

The arrangements were stunning!
The arrangements were stunning and the people were such a pleasure to work with. I was very impressed with how my wedding bouquet turned out and it was a sweet surprise all the same when I received roses from my husband the morning of our wedding! -

Great to work with
Brandon and Barbara were a pleasure to work with. They really worked to make sure I was happy and was getting exactly what I wanted. Our chuppah and ceremony space exceeded exceptions. Bouquets and centerpieces were beautiful. -

Brandon is amazing to work with!
Brandon was absolutely amazing to work with. I showed him a few pictures of what I wanted and he made my vision come to life! The pricing was completely reasonable and communication was great throughout the entire process! Everything was flawless day of and my guests are still raving about how beautiful my flowers were. -

Barbara is very attentive and a quick to respond. Meeting with Brandon to go over our bouquets & pedals for our tables was just wonderful his personality is EVERYTHING. Sady who delivered the day of our wedding 10/13/18 was pleasant & even brought my surprise gift from my husband. Out of all our vendors we LOVED them the most and had the top experience with them. Highly recommend even to just send flowers to someone. Brandon literally took my vision and my pictures to exact detail. Thank you for everything Barbara, Brandon & Sady XoXo -

Brandon and the team at James Cress Florist was incredible, extremely accommodating, and hilarious to work with! We actually had a better wedding planning experience with them vs. our venue and vendor! As soon as I walked into the facility, I got this sense of confidence that everything would go as I wanted and it did!
I had a vision of how I wanted my bouquet to look and they were able to execute it and make it even better than what I envisioned! I also had asked to have my grandfathers picture on the bouquet and they were able to make it so subtle but it brought me to tears to see that that incorporated it.
Everything was put together so beautifully - from the all the bouquets and buttoners, to the arch where we got married. Overall, me and my husband had a great experience with this florist and we highly recommend them.

Beautiful flowers, wonderful service
The people at James Cress Florist were wonderful to work with from my first call with them to the final flowers they delivered on our wedding day. Brandon and Barbara are incredible, thoughtful, and helpful people. They were above our price range, but they were absolutely worth it. They took our ideas and turned them into beautiful, cost-effective pieces for our ceremony, bridal party, and reception. They gave us a trial centerpiece to make sure I loved what they were doing. When I gave the wrong bridal party members the wrong flowers and thought we were missing some, James Cress Florist calmly went through our list and helped us figure out who should have what flowers. What a relief! We never discussed the ceremony flowers or the cake flowers, but both were stunning. Everyone there knows what they're doing, they're flexible, inventive, experts in what they do, and they're so kind. They put a beautiful final touch on our wedding day. Thank you! -

Stunning Flowers that Will be Remembered!
Nothing I can say could translate the gratitude we have for James Cress Florist, especially after working with Brandon and Barbara (and the whole team) for our big day! 5 stars isn't a limit that could capture all they have done in making our special day exactly what we dreamed of: beautiful, whimsical and romantic. If anyone is looking for a florist that will guide you through the entire process and see through the day of with both the highest professionalism and finesse (and even a little enjoyable humor), I promise you will not go wrong with James Cress Florist! We were able to see a mock-up of our centerpieces in advance, which far exceeded our exceptions! Our flower were breathtaking the day of our wedding and were exactly what we had asked for, delivery on time and set-up perfectly. We couldn't have asked for anything better! -
