  Wonderful Wedding Experience

  I made the best decision besides the "I do" by hiring Jen to photograph my wedding. The intimate moments she captured during the day were absolutely stunning, thanks to her eye for detail. Jen arrived at the venue early to find the best spots for the best pictures, which showed her professionalism. Along with that, she has a wonderful personality that puts one at ease. She made our couple's portraits easy and fun and even managed to get 6 kids to look at the camera! I'm extremely happy with our photos and will cherish them forever. I guarantee you'll have a great experience too if you work with Jen.

  Amazing Photographer!

  Jen was phenomenal to work with! Her photography style is gorgeous and I felt like she really captured who we are as a couple. We had an engagement shoot at Black Balsam Knob and she photographed the day of our wedding. She was on time for both events and made us feel so at ease. She also helped save the day by getting us back on track after hair and makeup was running behind schedule.
  
  Jen’s communication and organization are exceptional. She responded promptly to emails & texts and also had timelines that helped me stay organized while planning. Having her as our photographer was the most stress free part of wedding planning!
  
  I would 100 percent book her again and can’t wait to in the future for other occasions. Jen is sweet, personable, professional and amazing at what she does! Her turnaround time was super quick and I love how user friendly her photo galleries are. She even includes a link to make things easy to share with friends and family. Her services are worth every penny!!

  Jen Yuson is excellent, highly recommend

  We cannot recommend Jen enough as a wedding photographer! From the get-go, her organization shone through, ensuring every detail was taken care of. Not only is she very good at what she does, but her vibrant personality also made our sessions so much fun. But what truly took our breath away were the final photographs – they were absolutely stunning. And to top it off, she turned them around much faster than we or anyone expected. If you're looking for someone who combines talent with efficiency and a great attitude, we highly recommend Jen Yuson.

  Amazing photographer that helped make our day a breeze

  Jen is one of the sweetest people we've ever met. She was so helpful during the planning process, from creating a photography timeline to helping us choose which shots we wanted to get before and after the wedding. She is so professional and made everyone feel at ease. I was so glad that we found her and that she had worked at our venue before!

  Jen takes incredible photos and is such a joy to work with. She helped us feel comfortable, as two people who don't take photos often, and we had so much fun throughout the day. She was great with communication, was very organized and clear, and I really trusted her expertise. I highly recommend her for your wedding, engagement shoot, family photos, or anything you might need a great photographer for!

  Jen was absolutely amazing to work with. We only have positive things to say! . She was incredibly flexible with us when the weather made our engagement shoot a little tricky.
  She made everyone feel so comfortable during the wedding photos, and was able to balance traditional photos with silly and loosening everyone up! She was able to 100% meet my vision, and really made me feel like we were in a fairytale!

  Jen is amazing!

  Jen was absolutely FABULOUS! From our first conversation, I knew we picked a great photographer, but Jen just continued to impress me every step of the way! She was so personable and truly a joy to have around on our wedding day. So many of our guests commented on how sweet and fun she was, and we couldn't agree more! The pictures all turned out AMAZING and she got them all back to us faster than I could have ever imagined. 10/10 recommend Jen for any and all photos, and can't wait to hire her again for future pictures!

  Jen and Shawn were nothing short of incredible! They were energetic, funny, creative, and attentive. All of my bridesmaids and even wedding guests couldn't stop saying how amazing our wedding photographers were. We got our sneak peak and my oh my.... I cannot wait to see what the rest look like.

  Stunningly beautiful wedding photos

  I am beyond thrilled with the gorgeous photos Jen took of my daughters wedding!! The photos are absolutely stunning!!! Jen is truly an artist with the camera. She chose the most beautiful compositions for couple portraits, and she was absolutely wonderful at making people feel relaxed and having fun. Her professionalism and experience is clearly evident. She was so professional and organized with the contract process, and her presentation of the wedding album was beautiful, and easy to navigate. Her attention to detail is second to none.   Outstanding Photographer - professional, personable and talented!

  During my visit to Asheville, NC, my best friend suggested that I book Jen for my engagement photos while I was there and I am so glad I did! She was such a pleasure to work with and extremely responsive leading up to the day of the shoot. On our way to meeting with Jen, my fiancée got two (very noticeable) mosquito bites on his forehead and I started developing a giant pimple on my face. Needless to say, we showed up a bit out of sorts. Not even 5 minutes into our shoot, Jen's upbeat and positive energy made us completely forget what we were even stressing about, and we started to have fun and relax. We had such a great time being photographed by her, it felt like we were catching up with an old friend who happened to have a camera. The photos we received were beyond what we could have ever hoped for. Jen is truly a master of light and has a way of capturing couples at their most natural state. We didn't see any blemishes on our heads or faces, all we saw was the beautiful sunset behind us and how happy we were in every photo. I wish we lived closer to Jen, we would definitely hire her to capture every life event big or small. She truly stands out from other photographers, not only because of her amazing photography skills, but because she's just an awesome person.

  We love Jen! We had her do our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day and we would hope to be able to book her for any other shoots the rest of our life! I'm the third of my siblings to get married in 2 years and my whole family was just blown away by how wonderful the photos are, how reasonably priced it was, and how amazing Jen was to work with. She is a ray of light who makes everyone shine-- truly infectious and kind so people relax and start laughing in her presence. We loved how transparent her prices are, how flexible she is, and just, my god, the quality of the photos! When we had to switch things up because of road closure she whipped out ideas so quickly and even came to my parents' house for some photos!   Yes! Jen is awesome, she is a ball of energy who will brighten your day and who takes some great pictures to boot. She is easy to work with, amazingly responsive, and really considerate about taking into account your thoughts, ideas, or concerns. We worked with Jen on a really non-traditional elopement and Jen was with us all the way -- up the mountain, to the courthouse, over to the sunset, and knows some really beautiful spots around Asheville in particular. I would recommend her to anyone and certainly my close friends. In fact, I tried to book her again for an event in New York City!

  Jen and Shawn were outstanding, and we love the memories they captured for us. They had a remarkably fast turn time on the photos too - we spent many hours on long train rides on our honeymoon scrolling through all of the pics and laughing at the shots they captured of us and our friends and family.
  
  While the photography and organization/coordination were top-notch, we'll also always remember how much of a part of our big day Jen and Shawn were. They were helpful, friendly, and fun, and I'm glad we had the opportunity to get to know and work with them.

  Best experience, breath-taking photos!

  Jen was the best photographer ever! She captured my husband and I's wedding in the most magical way. The pictures were absolutely gorgeous and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Not to mention Jen was so accommodating and helpful during the entire process. In fact, she helped us find the perfect spot for our outdoor ceremony! We are thrilled that we found her and will definitely work with her again when we need photography services.

  We love Jen!!

  We are so lucky to have Jen in our lives! I say that because not only did she photograph our engagement and wedding I feel like she became a friend during the craziness of planning our wedding during COVID. It was so easy to get in touch with her to work through multiple reschedules and planning the perfect pictures. She captured the emotions of our wedding and our personalities perfectly! We’ve already scheduled our next session with Jen and I foresee many more in our future.

  We are so lucky to have Jen in our lives! I say that because not only did she photograph our engagement and wedding I feel like she became a friend during the craziness of planning our wedding during COVID.   Hands down the best photographer you can hire!

  Jen Yuson is hands down the best photographer! Her photos are exquisite and she has incredible talent. Best of all, she's talented PLUS a dream to work with. I was a very anxious bride and wanted to double, triple check a-lot of our plans. Jen was kind, compassionate and so incredibly responsive. While I was not hearing back from other vendors and having to hunt them down, Jen always responded. Jen is so on top of it! Photos are easily the most important part of your day and to have someone who you feel confident will execute everything exactly as you imagine it is crucial. Every time I was stressed, Jen brought me so much peace and comfort with her quick and thorough help and suggestions, with ZERO judgment! She never once made me feel like a crazy bride (like many other vendors did) but validated all of my feelings. I couldn't recommend her enough!! Plus as I mentioned, the photos are just DIVINE!

  Jen and Shawn did an amazing job capturing our day. But it went beyond that. My husband and I had to change our wedding date 2 times due to various reasons, and Jen worked with us to make sure she would be available each time. She was SO patient with us during the process! While we had a smaller intimate wedding, I know our families can be hard to manage at times. But Jen and Shawn did an outstanding job mixing both professionalism and humor to make everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. So, her service was incredible in this way as well. She was very responsive to each of my emails through our tenure.
  Onto the photos...ummmmm I am SO happy with them. My husband and I couldn't be happier. This dynamic duo are simply talented. They worked with the space and lighting and the outcome was hundred of truly amazing shots of my family and us. Just WOW!!!! Don't hesitate...book Jen Yuson for your special occasion.

  We had the best experience with Jen and her husband, Shawn. They were so fun and kind, and we felt completely comfortable around them, which made the photo process so easy. Jen and Shawn are both so talented, and our pictures turned out absolutely stunning!
