  John wants you to have the best quality photos. When it was supposed to rain during our engagement session, he called me and made sure we found a time later that week that worked for both of us. He did such a great job getting me and my fiancé to relax and be ourselves!

  Not only did we love our wedding photos & enjoy working with John Gentry but so did our wedding party and guests. Everyone raved at the incredible photos we have to choose from our wedding & engagement and how nice John & his team were to work with. You won't find a photographer that will give you any better value, service or quality than John Gentry Photography. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

  Working with John Gentry for my wedding was a great decision that my husband and I made in 2013. I hired John as our photographer and my husband was nervous because John was referred to me by one of my friends, not one of his. But after our engagement photo shoot, my husband was so thankful that I found John. His professionalism was obvious, his pricing was very reasonable and our photos were trendy, yet timeless. I would recommend John to anyone getting married, and I plan to use him again in the future for major life events (babies, family photos, etc!)

  I am very shy around camera's. John and Lori really helped put me at ease so that my wedding pictures looked natural. I can't be more happy with my results. I will recommend them to everyone and use them for future events.

  John Gentry photography was a dream come true. We were planning a destination wedding from Alaska to Nashville, TN. This sounds scary, but it wasn't at all with the help of John Gentry Photography. They go above and beyond. They were truly a blessing to our wedding experience and the photographs we recieved we will treasure forever.

  We LOVED the Gentry's!!!!! John and Lori are a wonderful couple. Lori keeps great record, and everyone on track. I never once had to worry....Lori took care of everything. John is a hoot; he makes you feel at ease. He captured our families perfectly and our amazing day!!!!

  Working with John and Lori had to be the thrill of the wedding, as well as the engagement pictures and bridal portraits!!!! They both truly got to know my daughter and her fiance/husband throughout each session. I love to sit and look at the wonderful bridal portraits...each looking as if it was taken straight from the pages of a high fashion bridal magazine. They were so professional and helped to make all of the wedding party feel at ease in front of the camera. I highly recommend them and their creativity to any future brides.

  John Gentry takes wonderful care of his clients from initial contact all the way through final product delivery! He is very well organized, is personable and easy to work with, is professional, shows an extensive skillset, and provides high-quality photographs with many different shots. Once I received my wedding pictures, there were so many wonderful photographs he had taken, that it was hard for my new husband and I to pick our favorite!
  If you're looking for someone that can provide you the best of the best photography for a very fair rate, John Gentry Photography is the way to go. You won't be dissappointed!

  We couldn't have chosen a better photographer. We got exactly what we wanted and more!! Not only were the pictures amazing, they were on time and even stayed longer than the time we had agreed on just to get the shot that I wanted. After the wedding, we got our proofs back quickly and everything was handled so professional. I would never go with anyone other than John Gentry! Amazing!!

  We contracted with John Gentry Photography for our destination wedding on the Big Island of Hawaii in January 2011. They also were our choice for engagement portraits prior to the wedding.   When I started looking for photographers, I checked out websites, then made appointments with the photographers whose websites I liked best.
  John happended to be the first appointment, and after one meeting with John I cancelled the others.
  My instints told me he was the right person to be involved with recording my event, and that feeling never changed through: planning, scheduling, contracting, engagement photographs, bridal portrait, and the event itself.
  
  So many vendors were not accomodating once contracts for their services were signed, and often added to the stress of planning a wedding by not being flexible in scheduling, or if something had to be changed on my end.
  John, and his team, ALWAYS found a way to work around my needs, and I never had to be concerned with the integrity or reliability of the company. Everyone was always warm, polite, and concerned about my needs...so easy to work with.
  
  In addition to having one of the best vendor relationships of the whole process, I am beyond pleased with my photographs and wedding album.
  My Storybook Album amazes everyone who sees it, and truly captures the event.
  John can put anyone at ease, and capture them at their best. He is an exceptionally talented artist, and he and his team offer incredible customer service. No one could have done a better job for me, my husband, and family during our wedding planning and celebration, or preserving the memories of the day.

  We were fortunate enough to have the best photographer anywhere. The team worked with us to find creative photo shots and to make us at ease the entire time. He got so many photos of our reception with us and our loved ones without us even knowing he was there. Beautiful work, great prices, great to work with, friendly personalities!   We are repeat customers. John's work has been so impressive we've used him over and over! My husband and I were engaged in July 2006 and hired John for our engagement photo session and again for my bridal portraits that September. The date we chose for our wedding day was a popular one that year and John was already booked on the day we chose. However, John was very generous with his time and made it happen despite his already busy schedule. Our wedding day was the happiest day of our lives...one that we continue to re-live and talk about. John captured that moment in time and our photographs are timeless. Two years later, we asked John to take some anniversary photographs for us. I found a beautiful location (a private residence) and John took the time to contact the owners and visit the location on his own beforehand. The photographs were absolutely, without a doubt, incredibly lovely and everything I expected them to be. Now, we are enjoying a brand new baby--the sweetest little boy in the world--and have already made plans for John to take his 3,6, and 9 months and 1 year photographs. I am so excited!
