    I feel so lucky to have met one of Kelli's employees at a cocktail party. She referred me to her after she overheard me talking to a girlfriend about how dissatisfied I was with a recent trial I had with another company. Kelli was amazing and Kristin is a breath of fresh air. They came all the way to St, Michael's and I have never felt prettier. Even one of my bridesmaids is using her for her upcoming wedding.

    I had gone to one other trial that did not go very well. When I came home my son said I "looked weird." When I came home from my Kelli Fink trail, he said I looked beautiful. Indeed, she nailed it for my wedding. She incorporated my style, the wedding dress and her instinct into a great look not only for me, but for each member of my bridal party. I couldn't have been more pleased with the results for this once in a lifetime day.

    Kelli and I clicked from the moment I met her at my trial! I had a previous trial and I felt like the stylist did not understand what I was trying to describe (maybe I didn't do a good job of explaining) but I left that appointment a little panicked. My regular hair dresser does not do special event hair and when I had talked to her about what happened at my first trial, she told me that Kelli was a good friend of hers and gave me her information. When I got to her studio, I was so nervous about trying to explain myself better and Kelli made me feel so at ease. She really made me feel like she understood what I wanted.

    On the day of my wedding, Kelli and Kristin were so much fun. I was so worried about the weather and they assured me that snow would not stop them!! My friends and I were so relaxed with them and everyone looked amazing. I am kind of a plain Jane when it comes to make up and was not sure if I wanted lashes , Kelli placed individual lashes on me and it was incredible!! I know it sounds corny but I really did feel like it was the most beautiful I have ever looked. I am so glad that I found them!

    My husband and I are from opposite sides of the country. We had so many out of town guests and I spoke to Kara (Kelli's business manager) about it before hand. Kelli and Kara arranged a blow dry bar for my guests the morning of my wedding so that they did not have to arrange appointments when they got to DC or trapes around in the snow that morning. It really set the tone for a great experience for our guests. This was such a perfect touch and very reasonably priced.

    Kelli did a great job and I was very impressed with the entire experience.

    I had my wedding at the Hotel Dupont and that is where Kelli and Kristin helped me and my bridal party get ready. I loved how I looked and so did my friends. Setting everything up with Kara was easy and I found everyone at Kelli Fink, Inc talented, professional and really fun. Thanks again, Kelli.

    Words can't even describe how wonderful Kelli Fink is! Not only is she absolutely incredible with hair but she brought an amazing energy to the morning of my wedding. I would and do 100% recommend Kelli to anyone I know!

    I wanted something messy and loose for my wedding. I also dont wear a lot of make up so, I wanted to make sure that I looked like myself. ( Well, a little better version of myself) Kelli knocked it out of the ball park. I loved working with all of her staff.

    Wow. That about sums up Kelli Fink. She is SO FAST, professional and talented. I loved working with Kristina as well. She did a great job at getting back to me quickly and made sure the "getting ready" process went flawlessly. I felt like I hit the jack pot with her.

    I am so glad I found Kelli Fink!!! I looked through several different hair and makeup professionals, trying to figure out what I wanted to do. I knew that I didn't want a big huge package and Kelli Fink was the right fit. Her prices were completely reasonable and she even allowed us to add in a makeup session for one of my bridesmaids on the day of the wedding (after she suggested that my gal needed false eyelashes). All of the bridesmaids could choose how they wanted their hair done and they all turned out beautifully! My sister-in-law brought in a picture and her hair turned out exactly like the photo. I did have a little problem when I went for my trial--Bang salon didn't tell Kelli I was coming in the next day for my trial so she didn't have her makeup kit with her (not her fault though). And so she definitely accommodated me so that I wouldn't have to make the trek back to the salon (I live out in Virginia so it was far for me). However, after she did my hair for the trial session, it was the first time I felt like I was going to be a pretty bride. Kelli and her team were great to work with on the day of the wedding, it felt like we were all girlfriends just hanging out. I wish I could hang out with them every weekend!! Kelli Fink---the right choice. :)

    I can not say enough about Kelli Fink. She was professional, talented and wonderful to work with. I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair and make-up. My bridal party LOVED her so much that we actually asked her team to join us at my reception!!! I also just found out that she is working at BANG on U Street... not only is she great at hair and make-up but my highlights are perfect!! I am so glad that she is my stylist now!

    Kelli Fink has been great to work with. My wedding would not have been the same without her and her team (Lisa and Lauren) They made my day so special. What a class act.

    She is a goddess! I had several trials with other stylists and I was NOT happy with any of them. Kelli saved the day. She was on time, professional, extremely talented and hilarious. I love my pictures. It would not have been the same on our special day without her.

    Kelli and her team were fantastic to work with. They offer packages which provide a certain number of bridesmaids hair and makeup, but since I had girls that were interested in hair only, they were willing to make substitutions to the package, so instead of 3 girls getting hair and makeup both, I was able to have 6 girls get just hair for the same cost. They were also able to accomodate girls adding services on the day of.

    Kelli and her team travel to whatever location you wish to get ready, which is a major plus. Since we were within their travel range we were not charged anything extra for this service, and it was a great perk that girls could move around to different hotel rooms, and continue to get ready when it was not their turn in the chair. They are very personable, and are easy to get along with and chat with while you are getting ready.

    Kelli is very flexible. After my trial I began having second thoughts regarding the styling. I booked her at the last minute, so didn't have much time for a second trial, especially since for the trial you must go to Bang Salon on U Street, where she works Monday-Thursday. I emailed some photos, and we were able to try something on the day of that I absolutely loved, without needing the second trial. All of the girls were happy with their styling.

    The only issue I had was some confusion on my part regarding the pricing. To hold the date you must submit a $200 booking fee, which at the time I assumed would serve as a deposit and be deducted from our final amount due. When I received the contract it read that this $200 was not a deposit, and was not considered part of the payment, so ulimately the cost was $200 more than what I had thought it would be. I expressed my concerns, and was told that they would try to make it more clear in the future. Perhaps my confusion stems from not having ever booked this type of service before, but I would imagine that most people would be in the same situation.

    I felt like Kelly and I really connected form the beginning. I actually did two trials with her after not liking my first one, but I knew she was the right person. She later admitted to me that she hated my first hair-do too. I just thought I wanted something I didn't and she was wonderful with scheduling me in at multiple locations to make sure I felt comfortable. I did sometimes have a hard time hearing back from her on email, but got the name of another woman she works with who responded more quickly.
    Although I loved my hair and make up (as did all my bridesmaids and mom) on the wedding day, I was slightly confused by Kelli's demeanor that day. She arrived with 2 other girls and were in a great mood. They definitely made getting ready a lot of fun. But very suddenly the mood changed and they seemed annoyed to be there and left very quickly. I wasn't aware if they had another client or had set some time limit, but it definitely seemed that way.
    I honestly loved my hair! LOVED. My make up was great and lasted all night. I think as long as there is a clear agreement between you and Kelli about time, you will be happy.

    Kelli did a phenomenal job with my hair and make up. I felt beautiful and confident, which is exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. And it stayed! My greatest fear was that my hair would fall out after the first dance but Kelli created an updo that lasted all night. The bridesmaids, moms, and grandma looked amazing too! Kelli and her team were fun to hang out with on the wedding day. One stylist even took a selfie with my husband's grandma!

    However, a word of caution: everyone that is getting their hair and make up done MUST be there when Kelli starts in the morning. It's written into the contract you sign and she will remind you of that several times. When Kelli arrived on my wedding day, the moms and grandma were not there (because honestly, brides, you try telling your mom that she needs to sit around for several hours while everyone gets their hair done). There were 6 of us who needed to get our hair and make up done first so I was hoping it wouldn't be a big deal. But Kelli noticed immediately and snapped at me and told me to get them there right away or she would not do their hair. It was really intense and uncomfortable and I felt upset and embarrassed in front of my bridesmaids. Several bridesmaids asked if they could say something to her. When I called my mom to insist that she come immediately, my mom got really aggravated. Anyway, it created unnecessary confrontation on a day when you generally just want to be happy and care free. I'll also say that I was not able to afford a wedding planner so I was eager to get to my reception venue to finalize some details. I felt trapped in my hotel room while everyone else was getting their hair and makeup done.

    Again, I think there's no question that Kelli and her team are very talented hair dressers and make up artists. I was totally satisfied with the quality of the work but if you decide to work with Kelli, just make sure that you're prepared to adhere to her conditions.

    I booked Kelli Fink about 6 months before my wedding after she was recommended to me by a friend. After booking her, it was difficult to get a hold with Kelli, as her business manager was not responsive to my emails. Although this was frustrating, I was finally able to schedule a trial with Kelli 2 months before my wedding. My bridesmaids and I loved her when we met up for the trial. She was calm, easy going and very interactive with everyone. Prior to my wedding day, I inquired about making a last minute change by adding a flower girl. However, they never replied. I was very dissatisfied with the lack of communication.

    On the morning of my wedding day, she arrived a few minutes late and had not prepared a schedule for doing the girls’ hair. Instead, I had to create the schedule for her and make sure that it worked with my make up artist. She was clearly unprepared for her job, as she had to ask us for scissors, hair ties, and even her flat iron did not work. In general, my bridesmaids were disappointed with their hairstyles, as they felt they were too simple and rushed. Some of the hairdos did not last through the day. When she came to do my hair, it came out completely different from the trial. Although my hairdo turned out to be nice, it was not what I had expected.

    Overall, I am disappointed with the lack of communication and poor preparation, but at least Kelli was friendly throughout.

    Tahrra, I am so sorry that you were disappointed. Normally on the day of someone's wedding, I am not asked to actually cut someone's hair in order to create the style they are looking for. I agreed to cut your attendant's bangs in an effort to go above and beyond for your bridal party. I normally do not bring my sheers, so I asked if anyone had scissors for that reason. You are however, are incorrect as your wedding party was completed on time and with HOURS to spare. I so enjoyed working with your wedding party, congratulations, I hope you are enjoying being a newlywed,

    I booked Kelli Fink about 6 months before my wedding through her business manager and was SO excited to work with her!
    I finally spoke with Kelli directly about 3 months before my wedding to schedule a trial. She seemed calm, confident, and easy-going...everything I wanted! And then she casually mentioned that her sister would be getting married the same day as me, so she would have to bring an assistant to take care of my bridal party. I offered to find someone else and she assured me that would not be necessary. I was extremely flexible and offered to get ready at an earlier time and location, and we hung up the phone with me feeling disappointed, but confident it would all work out.

    So you can imagine my shock when, with fewer than 2 months to go until my wedding, I get an email from her business manager CANCELLING ON ME! Not even the decency for a phone call They told me they would refund my deposit, but that is far from the point. That is rude, unprofessional, and far from flexible. I am now left having to double my budget to find a last minute artist.

    I could not be more disappointed and would absolutely not recommend working with her.
