  I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at Lake Allatoona Inn. I would highly recommend Lake Allatoona Inn as a wedding venue! The house and its grounds were beautiful, and we were even able to walk across the street and get gorgeous wedding photos by the lake. While looking for a venue, what really stood out was Lynn’s flexibility. She was really laid back about everything, and gave us the option to use our own vendors if we wanted. All the vendors we used through her were professional and did an excellent job. My family didn’t have to worry about keeping track of any of the vendors, or preparations, because Lynn did all of that for us. We were able to meet with Lynn several times before the wedding, and she went above and beyond to make sure our special day was perfect!

  We have had so many compliments about our wedding at Lake Allatoona Inn. It is a beautiful space - and I mean every part of it. The inn itself (my family rented out all the rooms, and I got ready in the Corse Suite), the iron scrollwork gazebo where we got married, and the "old post office" outbuilding where we had our reception. And Lynn is wonderful to work with! She made everything easy. I love that the cost is "all in one" and the only additional vendors we had to hire were the DJ and photographer - and we used the DJ Lynn suggested. He was incredibly nice, made it easy, used our song list, and was within our budget. If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't even consider any other venue!

  Everything was wonderful. The venue was beautiful. The landowner was very professional taking down all the little details to make sure everything went perfectly. There were just a few little minor things that I found troubling. The setup for the tables was done only a few hours before the ceremony, quickly ironing table cloths. We had wished we could have set up these tables the night before after the rehearsal so that my family wasn't rushing to set them up before the ceremony. Secondly, it took about 5 minutes for us to get a clean fork for feeding each other the cake. We were just standing there awkwardly waiting for one. The last one, which is understandable, was that we kept having to remind the landowner of details of the wedding. They had a wedding every weekend that month so I think she was getting them mixed up. All in all, it was a beautiful venue with very professional owners.

She was also cool about people wandering around her antique home (first floor). Thankfully the weather was really nice that afternoon (she said it usually is) so we were golden! I would recommend to any bride reading this to hire a coordinator for the wedding day. I didn't think I would need one-- how much does it take to get people to walk single file & then hang around for pics afterwards? Actually, it takes A LOT, & you do not want to be the one to have to holler at people to not wander off before you can get the formal pics done when you're trying to just enjoy the day & look pretty!!
