Michael Sage Schindler, you did it again. First for Bar Mitzvah #1 in 2013, and now for Bar Mitzvah #2 last week. I wish I had another one to plan, so I could work with you and your team again. Brian... Gio... Jonathan... Alora... and Philip the magician... thank you so much for an incredible evening. And for keeping me sane during all the planning. Our family and friends had a fantastic time and we will have lifelong memories from the fun and exciting party you pulled off for us. The music was perfect for everyone. The kids went wild and the adults kept up. The pace was great. The dancers kept the energy alive literally every second. The magician had the kids in awe -- the pictures of their expressions are priceless. Love love love you guys. Fantastic! this was the 2nd time we worked with LSNY for a Bar Mitzvah, and this time Brian was the DJ, so we were a little nervous, but there was no need to be! The team did an incredible job getting everybody on the dance floor for games and dancing, they sequenced the pieces of event very smoothly so there was never a lull, and seemed to bond so well with our guests and each other. They seemed to totally enjoy what they were doing, which made everything so much fun. Two of our closest friends have decided to use LSNY for their daughters' upcoming Bat Mitzvah's, having been to our two events, which says it all. Michael Sage Schindler at LSNY was awesome. If you are doing any event, party, or wedding, he is the guy to help you out! We didn't think there would be alot of dancing at our wedding, but it turned out to be a night of energy and fun. Amazing! I'm proud to say my wedding was the best party I've ever been to. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Michael and his team were. They went above and beyond at every point in the planning and were incredibly accommodating of every request and idea all along the way. T the party, they struck just the right tone and were so personal and so supportive of our family and of all of the things we wanted from the event. Part of the reason that I think that they do this so well is that Michael takes so much time in advance to get to know what you really want. One of our guests told me that when they walked in a saw that there was a DJ, another older woman said " oh no-- I should have brought my ear plugs" but that as soon as the party started, they realized how wrong they were-- and that they'd never seen a DJ do a party so fabulously!I cannot say enough about how wonderful Michael and his team were. We are absolutely thrilled with LSNY's service. Michael Schindler was an amazing MC-- natural and energetic. He and his vibrant crew (dj and dancers) engaged our guests in a way that brought out a real sense of joy. My daughter's bat mitzvah party was nothing short of magical and electric. I will forever remember it as one of the best days of my life. LSNY is like insurance for a perfect party.We are absolutely thrilled with LSNY's service. Michael Schindler is totally on top of his game. He knew what questions to ask to prep for my party, he was sensitive and insightful, he listened to what we wanted and honored that. He had a number of programmatic suggestions that enhanced the evening. He worked with catering to ensure all cues were met. Most of all, he and his crew had my party at a euphoric pitch for 5 hours. His dancers were fabulous. I am sure all his emcees are great, but we were lucky enough to have Michael. I'd recommend him to anyone.Michael Schindler is totally on top of his game. We used LSNY for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah celebration. Our experience with Michael was wonderful. He was easy to work with and accommodated our requests. He did it with ease as well. BEST ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY EVER! Michael and his team rocked my son's party. Amazing energy, real professionals, and just honest people to work with. Loved everything that he did. Every guest was on the dance floor the entire party. Kids and adults alike had a blast. Run, don't walk, to book them for your next party. LSNY ran a fantastic party for our son Alex’s Bar Mitzvah. Michael was an amazing host, the party was well organized and his team was able to roll with the group of kids and keep them happy throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better time. Dealing with Michael before during and after the party was really easy and he was extremely reposnsive to all our needs and questions. Michael and his team did a fantastic job at our son’s Bar Mitzvah party. From our first meeting with Michael, we liked his energy and professionalism; he clearly loves doing this work. He approached our event very individually – not trying to push things on us but offering various different options and helped us identify what would work best for us. He guided us on the candle-lighting, music choices, games, and worked well with our caterer. Even though it was his first event at our Synagogue, there were absolutely zero hitches along the way with the technology, loading/unloading, etc. At the event itself, he was very flexible on the flow. Our guests all commented on the spirit of his team, and a number of us learned some new dance moves! This past weekend was my son's Bar-mitzvah and I couldn't imagine it being such a huge success without the help of Michael and his crew. They are some of the most professional people I've had the pleasure of hiring. Not only did they make the party a remarkable success, they were extremely personable and wonderful to be around. They had the kids smiling from ear to ear and even some of the adults that ventured off and found themselves being kids again in the photobooth. This was a great experience and I most definitely recommend their services to anyone who wants at least a little bit of stress taken off their shoulders while planning some of the most important of events. I meant to call you last night, but we have family from DC staying with us at our apartment. WE LOVED THE PARTY!!!! You are your group were the best part and made the whole party really perfect!!!! The dance floor was filled the whole time and everyone loved it, even the older adults. And so many of my friends (whose children are younger than Lauren) commented that you were a perfect MC, really smooth, (not at all in your face aggressive, which they don’t like,), great with the kids, had so many great games/dance games/ideas throughout the entire party and made it fun for the full 4 hours! and that Lightning Photo Booth was the BIGGEST HIT!!! My mother LOVED it, and she is a hard to please person!!! It was a great day and I could not even sleep last night because I was too wired thinking about the day.
Also, I loved your dancers and EVERYONE commented how nice and professional and spirited dancers they were.

Working with Michael at LSNY is amazing. He really understood the type of event/party we wanted to have and how we were going to have a party crowd.
In addition, he was great with introducing our wedding party at the reception, by having us tell him a little about each person. What made this special & different, was that each person had there moment plus everyone at the event knows now how/why they are so important to us.

Having always felt that the food and the music are the most important and memorable parts of a wedding, when we started planning our wedding, one of our main concerns was picking the right source of music.
Since I prefer to hear the songs performed by the original artist (and not a live band) as well as love the idea of having an MC at the event to keep things running smoothly and keep the guests ‘involved’, we opted for a DJ. But there are so many DJs to choose from, it can be overwhelming.
Thinking back to all of the weddings I have attended over the years, the ones I had the most fun at were the ones that kept everyone involved and on the dance floor, partying and having an amazing time. Based on this I knew we needed a special kind of DJ that didn’t just put music on and stood behind the booth. But I also didn’t want an over the top, loud or obnoxious MC either. I knew we needed just the right touch of energy with class excitement and style to make everyone feel wonderful. From the moment we saw Michael Sage Schindler from Lightning Shakes New York (LSNY) in action at our friend’s wedding last year, we knew we wanted him to be part of our big day.
Michael and his team at LSNY were exactly what we were searching for---great music, high energy and a MC who is part of your crowd on the dance floor and keeps everyone going.
My friends were really stressed out in planning their weddings. But once we contacted Michael we were overjoyed by how much more he contributed to our day. Throughout the whole process he was so much more than our wedding entertainment---it was almost as if he was my wedding coordinator helping me perfect all of the most important details for the evening (the details that everyone will remember for years to come).
Before we even hired him, he did a site inspection and present us with a options for a beautiful lighting and video screen show. We loved the idea but needed to work within our budget. He then reworked the proposal to create something we could work with. When we walked into the room it looked beautiful and we were thrilled.
During the planning process, He offered suggestions, directed me on choices and guided me to resources and overall helped me really personalize and create such an unforgettable evening. He made that part of the planning completely stress free. He kept in touch with us even many months away and we had many conversations during the year (especially the last few weeks leading up to the wedding) to ensure all details were covered and our vision of our special day would be carried through.
On our wedding day, Michael delivered everything as promised. He is a true professional, perfectionist and is someone who has an extreme passion for what he does—and it shows! Everyone at our wedding could not stop dancing. The dance floor was packed all night (just how I always wanted and imagined.) The room was filled with amazing energy. We actually received multiple messages from friends that our wedding was ‘the best wedding ever’. I cannot thank Michael and his team at LSNY enough for making this possible and would highly recommend him to anyone for a wedding or party.

Michael Schindler was amazing from the moment we shook hands until the end of the night when we hugged! His bright & beautiful personality kept the attention of all the guests & the party never stopped! Survey's say that guests remember 2 things: the brides dress & the entertainment. Our guests haven't stopped talking about our wedding party & I'm sure it will be a topic of converstaion for many, many more years. He was extremely easy to work with as well as flexible until the last dance. I would choose Michael a million times over as well as recommend him in anyone that likes to have a great time!!Michael Schindler was amazing from the moment we shook hands until the end of the night when we hugged! "What can be said as a former bride? Michael was, simply put, the BEST wedding decision I made (other than the groom, of course!). He met with me and my fiance before our wedding, went over our musical tastes, and was very open to some of the challenges we presented (think, Orthodox Jewish wedding, with Haitian music for our friends).
Not only was he able to get all the music we wanted, but he was on his toes the entire night, making sure that the entertainment met the mood, and keeping people on the dance floor. It was a blast, and while one or two other things may have gone amiss, I knew I NEVER had to worry about Michael!"

Michael Schindler of LSNY was the MC for both of our sons' bar mitzvahs and is the consummate entertainment professional. Michael and his talented DJ and dancers ensured that guests of all ages had a wonderful time at both our events.
