Maggiano's not only gave us a great wedding spread dedicated to our vegan/vegetarian tastes, but sent terrific servers to help with every step. Vanessa and Sergio were incredible. Highly recommend. -

Meg Sent on 04/15/2015I really wish there was an option for more than 5 stars, because Maggiano's Chevy Chase knocked it out of the park. My husband and I had our wedding reception at Maggiano's, and I cannot say enough good things! Maggiano's NAILED it- the room was GORGEOUS, the service was IMPECCABLE, and the food was OMG. Seriously, best.food.ever. All of our guests raved about the food during the reception and keep talking about how it was the best wedding food they've ever had! All of the food was served family style- we had appetizers during cocktail hour, two salads, two pastas, two entrees, and then two desserts. We were even able to skip getting a wedding cake because Maggiano's gave us the option of using their cheesecake as our wedding cake! Maggiano's made our wedding perfect. Literally, perfect. We couldn't have asked for better. We worked with Beth and she was super responsive, very nice, and extremely helpful! They made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and answered every single question we had. The reception space itself was amazing- we had the entire back ballroom with both bars. The wood walls and floors complemented our centerpieces and overall decor. There was ample dancing room and the guest tables were arranged very nicely. All in all, we really couldn't have asked for any better. Thank you Maggiano's Chevy Chase for making our dreams come true! -

User974998 Sent on 10/16/2012I was a little wary of doing my reception at Maggiano's (or a restaurant in general), but it was one of the best choices I made for the wedding! We only used them for the reception venue (not the ceremony), but the staff and venue were wonderful. The guests all arrived at once, and everything was set up and ready to go. The banquet captain found me almost immediately and introduced herself, and the entire waitstaff was extremely kind and helpful. The banquet coordinator was also very easy to work with, and she was great about including our personal touches - place cards, gift bags, etc. The food was very good, and there is something for everyone on the banquet menu. They were also very accommodating for a vegan guest and a gluten-free guest, which I definitely appreciated. The dance floor was very spacious, and the room was the perfect size - it was large enough that you could have dancing with music, but there was also space for people to sit and chat if they wanted. I was a little worried about the music being too loud, since we were in a restaurant, but the staff kept encouraging us to turn it up if we wanted. Overall, it was a wonderful venue, with good food, really good prices, and an amazing staff. -

I have eaten at Maggiano's Little Italy in Chevy Chase over 50 times in the last 15 years and had no idea how amazing their banquet services are. My banquet manager, Jeremy, was very responsive and flexible. They allowed my vendors to set up the day before my event and worked well with my wedding planner regarding the timeline and flow of the evening. What especially impressed me was their willingness to extend their hours to accommodate my New Year's Eve wedding. I am so pleased with their services and would recommend them to any couple in the Washington/Metropolitan area. -

Maggiano's DC was amazing! The staff was so attentive providing drinks to guests during dinner. The food was of course amazing and there was so much of it! We went home with 10 pans of food. They even cut and served our cake. The ballroom is so spacious and fit our guest size of 85 perfectly. The value is amazing, especially in DC. You won't find a better value for all that you get. The only thing I would have preferred was to pay for more time to setup. There was an event before ours and we only had 1 hour for setup, but besides that, perfect. I can't recommend them enough. -

Sunni Sent on 07/12/2009We chose Maggianos because our first priority for our wedding reception was the food. We didnt want cold chicken and asparagus, we wanted warm comfort food and we wanted it served family style. We figured, correctly, that the best way to ensure this was done well was to do it at the restaurant. Maggianos did what it does best and served up an ample supply of warm, delicious food for our wedding reception. The open bar had substantial offerings, and the location was perfect for guests who did not want to drive. The valet parking, which we provided for guests, was reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the company rested on its laurels and provided very poor customer service. The banquet manager we were assigned was rude, typically responding to the simplest question in a short manner. We feel that the manager, and by extension to company, took our business for granted. It got so bad that we asked to be reassigned to a different banquet manager, only to find that the new manager was just as bad. Both women were impatient and ill-tempered. In addition, the banquet managers have a tendency to schedule events too close together. In our case, our wedding reception ran right up against a bar mitzvah. When our wedding planner was allowed access to the room, it was in a shambles, just 1 hour and 30 minutes before guests were to be seated. Our wedding planner and her staff of three had to enlist the help of the bridesmaids and groomsmen to help clean and arrange the room for the wedding reception literally, brooms in hand! Had it not been for their heroic efforts, our reception would have started much later than it did. To add insult to injury, the banquet managers only assigned 2 or 3 servers to our 150 person event! Service was slow and our guests noticed. On a final note, the banquet room was a good size for our 150 guests, but do not believe the banquet managers when they tell you that 180 people will fit comfortably! All in all, if food is your first priority for your reception, we highly recommend this restaurant. However, if you find that the banquet managers are not treating you well, contact the general manager immediately. The service will not improve on its own.
