    We were looking for venues in the Solon/Beachwood area and immediately when we went to the Marriot Cleveland East we loved the venue and felt confident that our wedding day would be in good hands with Erin. We were correct. Throughout the process Erin was always extremely helpful and responsive when I would call or email her. She helped make all of the arrangements for our reception and room block and really worked with us on what we wanted to make our day special. The package that she offered for the food/drinks and room price we felt was a really good value for what we received.

    During the days of our wedding festivities, all of the people on staff at the Marriott were extremely polite, professional, and helpful. They were attentive and treated us and our guests very well, adding to the atmosphere of the day. The reception hall looked beautiful and we really liked how the seating chart was designed by Erin, so that the head table was just a normal long table with people on each side rather than a big long line of us looking out at the rest of the guests. The food was really delicious, we had a difficult time narrowing down food choices at our tasting because they were so good. On the day of the wedding the food was just as good as we remembered. We got many compliments on the way the room looked as well as the food. We also had set up some late night snacks for our guests since it was on New Year's Eve, which were a big hit as well. Ann Marie was our point person for later in the evening, and she also worked hard to make sure we had whatever we needed.

    Overall we were very happy with our choice in reception venues and would absolutely choose the Marriott Cleveland East again if we did it all over again.

    We were blown away by the team at the Marriott Cleveland East! Erin Browne worked with us from the beginning and was responsive, flexible and really knows weddings! Everything went so well for our reception and as the bride and groom we were very well taken care of! Our out of town guests also stayed at the hotel, and we keep hearing how the staff was so nice and accommodating. Also, the food was delicious! The chef listened to our requests during our tasting and really came through with a wonderful meal. We were so happy with how the cocktail hour and reception turned out. Thank you for making our day so special!

    We could not have been happier with our venue. Erin the coordinator made our day everything we imagined it to be. She always answered my inquiries in a timely manner and if she didn't have an immediate answer she never left me guessing. She let me know he needed to check and then got back with me as soon as she had an answer. We The accomodations were beautiful and my photographer was able to take some gorgeous pictures in the newly redecorated atrium which allowed us the time to enjoy our cocktail hour along with our guests. We were made to feel as if we were the only guests in the hotel we received that much attention and Erin and her staff had th ball room looking beautiful for voth th ceremony and reception. i must also add that we reiceived numerous compliments on the food which was melt in your mouth delicious. I would recommend this venue to any bide. I was able to tell Erin what I wanted, provide what was needed and she made it happen.

    The Marriott East went above and beyond for my husband and my wedding day! The staff was superb, very responsive before and after the event. All of the guests were impressed with the layout. The food was delicious and servers professional.

    Erin and her staff from the Mariott was very easy to work with. The food was amazing and we can't wait to go back and celebrate our anniversaries there.

    Erin, our "planner" was amazing. She returned e-mails and phone calls immediately. The food was AMAZING. I would definitely have another event there.

    Our reception went off without a hitch. Food & service were great. The Marriott staff delivered on everything they promised. Tricia, who handled all the coordination of our event, was very organized and knowledgeable. After meeting her for the first time we knew we were in good hands. She even went so far as to confirm with all our other vendors right before the wedding so they knew where to deliver, what time etc. The room layout, timing of events, service from wait staff and bartenders was first rate. I'd host another event there if I ever had a need.

    Although the site was wonderful, the staff was fantastic, and the service was superb, there are three people who really stood out at the Marriott: Tricia the event manager, Mark the site manager, and Tom the chef.

    First Tricia, who got married herself only six weeks before I did. She is the sweetest person, and was such a pleasure to have as our main go-to person throughout the process. During the planning process she came up with fabulous ideas such as having small tables between the bar and the dance floor so that people could get a drink without removing themselves from the action. She was always available, and sometimes I swear I wanted to call her just to chat, she was so friendly and fun to be around! And at the actual wedding (which went off without a hitch - that I know of) she was there to make sure that the groom, our parents, and I all got something to eat at the cocktail hour, that our food at dinner was perfect, and the night went by smoothly. It was such a blessing to have her helping us out that day! She even set up a conference room for the bridal party to relax in between picture taking and the cocktail hour. There were snacks, drinks, and a quiet place, and they all really appreciated it. Tricia's lists always kept us on track, and her micro-managing and creativity kept us on budget! It was a fabulous reception, down to the tiniest details, and a lot of the credit for that goes to Tricia!

    Mark was another manager at the Marriott who was also a really fun, easy going, and still very professional guy. Even when we only stopped in for five minutes to drop off table names he took the time to come over and talk to us, see how things were going along, and make sure that everything was being taken care of. The reception room and the cocktail atrium were absolutely beautiful, and the vendors were all coordinated perfectly! He was really amazing at making sure that the look of the day and the details came out perfectly!

    And Tom is the incredible chef who, after meeting with him, made me decide to choose the Marriott as our venue. He prepared an entirely French menu for us with amazing hors d'oeuvres like raspberry and brie tarts, baked figs with brie, buckwheat bullinis with creme fraiche and caviar, shrimp wrapped in shredded phylo dough, and an artisinal cheese display complete with blocks of cheese, fresh hunks of bread, and huge displays of fruit. And the dinner was no less enticing - grilled swordfish in an apple brandy sauce, pan seared chicken (which I have to say is still the best chicken I have EVER tasted), and beef tournedos with an herbed crust. And to top it all off, he created individual ratatouilles for the vegetarians among us that were so good, it made me want to be vegetarian! He is the best chef I have ever met, and, like the rest of the staff, he was incredibly sweet and a pleasure to be around.

    Lastly, the service was fabulous. We had a sit-down dinner, several passed hors d'ouevres, and a champagne toast that were all served by hand. The timing was impeccable, and the waitstaff were courteous, friendly, and efficient.

    I think that the Marriott is a wonderful place for any wedding, and I would definitely recommend it to anybody in the area!

    I struggled in the beginning with my weddi g coordinator at the Marriott. The night of my wedding everything was amazing nothing went wrong food was amazing and service was impeccable

    The staff overall is phenomenal and works with your every request. We were very pleased with the level of service. Our guests commented on the beauty and elegance of the event. We also reserved a block of rooms for our guests to stay at the hotel; this added a level of convenience.

    We worked with Stephanie Hickman at the Marriott East. She was a real pleasure to work with. She had a very friendly personality and was willing to work with us on all of our "wants" for our big day. We had a few meal needs/restrictions and the chef and Stephanie were willing to create different dishes for a few guests which really came in handy. The room was beautiful- so much more than we had expected. Another plus was that I could rent table runners through the venue which was nice to not have to worry about little details like that since Stephanie was able to take care of that for us. Stephanie was always a phone call away and was able to accommodate all of our requests. The staff that worked our Wedding were awesome. The Servers were on top of everything and very present through out the evening. If I needed anything that night there was someone there to assist me. Which was nice the day of my Wedding to not have to worry about anything and be able to enjoy our night. A bonus for us was having our reception at a hotel. Our guests loved it as well. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and it was nice at the end of the night for all to just be able to walk to their hotel rooms. Marriott East is definitely worth looking into and I would recommend anyone looking for an elegant wedding receptions venue to check it out. Stephanie will really take great care of your wedding needs!!
