  She is the sweetest little lady with the most incredible eye. AND she was able to please both me and my totally-has-the-opposite-taste mother. She's awesome and so worth every penny!!!!!!

  Meg is simply the best. She was able to capture the sweetest moments and even had my difficult-to-cooperate two-year-old smiling and looking fabulous in all shots. She is perfectly directive and knows what and how to capture images that I am forever grateful to her for.

  After searching high and low for two years for someone to do our wedding portraits I thank my lucky stars that I found Meg. I saw her work on a few of my favorite wedding blogs that I frequented, and crossed my fingers when I sent her an inquiry that she'd be available for our photo shoot. My fiancé and I had never had professional photography done before, so we were extremely nervous that we wouldn't be able to "be ourselves" or look natural in the photos.
  Meg was extremely quick and organized when it came to communication before the day of the photos, and also provided great recommendations and helpful location ideas as we were new to the bay area.
  During the actual photo shoot, Meg made us feel instantly at ease, and as if we knew her already. She "walked us through" the photos, and by the time we were finished, (it FLEW by) we wanted to keep going because we were having so much fun. We both completely forgot to be nervous, or shy; and she has this great quality of making you feel like your poses and expressions are looking amazing by just drawing out couples' actual personalities. I truly felt as if she was enjoying taking our pictures as much as we were enjoying having them taken.
  Upon receiving our photos, we were in awe... there literally was not a single photo we did not like, in fact we LOVED 98% of them. I don't know how she does it, but she's in the exact career she should be in that is for sure....
  I would recommend her to anyone who wants to make sure they have images that are true to the subject in them, and beautiful moments and memories captured in the romantic, soft, artful way that Meg's photographic style represents.
  I told her I can't wait until we have a baby, or some other good excuse to do it all over again!

  When it comes to photographers, Meg is the absolute best! Her work is absolutely amazing and we couldn't be happier with the way she captured our special day. Meg is such a delight to work with, and has a true quality to her that puts you at ease on a very important, and stressful day. She is extremely professional, creative and artistic and you couldn't go wrong with her as your photographer. I love every single image she captured and couldn't have been more happy to work with her. The raw emotions captured in each picture tells the story of our day perfectly. I would recommend Meg to any bride and can't wait to use her again as our family grows!

  Where do I begin with Meg? She documented one of the most important days of my life and truly made the occasion even more profound with the result of what she captured through her lens. I couldn’t be happier with our photos and the whole experience of working with her.
  
  Communication and Booking: Meg is professional, prompt and clear, yet delightful in her correspondence. Wedding planning and vendor selection can be stressful, communications with Meg are anything but… I would say book early with Meg as she does seem to fill-up pretty early during the standard wedding season.
  
  Her Style: Meg definitely has a way of making your photos look like they’re straight out of a magazine. Something in her secret workshop I think… but really, she definitely has an eye for what looks good and will translate to a natural-looking picture (even if it feels un-natural at the time).
  You can see her portfolio for more on style, but in terms of her work style on our wedding day, she was on time, extremely organized and pleasant. I received so many compliments from my wedding guests that she and her assistant were not only polite and discrete, but also collected and positive! You don’t need anyone scrambling around or adding negative anything to your day. I would simply share with her the must-have family photos you want captured or anything out of the ordinary in terms of details as well as your general timeline (which she’ll ask for)… otherwise, she’s a pro and will capture it all and more!! Just note that it’s all about good light and light doesn’t wait for anyone so truly take her advice on timing for pictures so she can work her magic with Mother Nature!!
  
  Add-ons: I highly recommend doing a photo booth. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Also, don’t go cheap on the album if you can swing it and get the higher quality one. No matter what you think about DIY, you’ll want Meg to do the album. She retouches the images and tells a beautiful story.

  I had such a good experience with Meg Perotti, that I have to share...First off, congratulations to readers on your engagement! It is such a crazy, exciting time and there are so many decisions to make- but try to enjoy it as much as you can even if it does get overwhelming at times. Picking the photographer is an important decision, and was really the first big one that I made... but I have to say, I didn't have to think about it very much because I knew right away that I wanted Meg to do our pictures... I really can not sing her praises enough!
  
  Meg had shot two of my friend's weddings in LA (one of which I was a bridesmaid in), and I was just blown away by the images that both of those brides got, and after looking around at other wedding photographers, I couldn't quite find anyone who had a book that was anywhere near as good as Meg's in terms of the aesthetic and vibe that we were looking for. I live in LA but we got married in Kentucky where I grew up, so I was looking at photographers in that region as well, and inevitably we made the decision to fly Meg out to KY to shoot our wedding... and I feel like it was one of the best decisions that we made.
  
  I think there are two things to consider when hiring a photographer for your wedding:
  
  1. The technical aspects of what the photographer delivers (their aesthetic, how quickly the turnaround is, do they get all of the shots you want, etc)
  2. The overall experience with the photographer in terms of their personality and approach to their work.
  
  Meg is AMAZING on both fronts.
  
  Just to discuss the technical aspects: Considering the volume of weddings that Meg shoots, she is incredibly quick on the turn around. We had all of our wedding images uploaded about 2 weeks after our wedding, and her website is wonderful because you can browse all of the hundreds of images and select your favorites. Her albums are fantastic and beautifully done, and you get a little flash drive with images on them so you can upload them to your computer and then keep the drive in a safe place.
  Meg got every one of our group shots, and considering that my husband and I both have large families, this was a feat in and of itself. She asks you for a list before the wedding and then moves through the set-ups quickly, but it doesn't feel super methodical or impersonal. She just has a wonderful way of working with people (which I will discuss later).
  She also captures fantasic candids- her photojournalistic approach is wonderful because she is able to catch these amazing moments that really just come out beautifully in the pictures.
  
  As far as the experience of working with Meg goes--- I really can't say enough. I first shot with her at my friend's wedding when Meg was taking our bridal party pictures. I was immediately struck by how professional she is in terms of getting done what she needs to get, but she does it in a way that feels very relaxed and makes it an enjoyable process for everyone. She really keeps her cool when managing large groups which is admirable. She has an amazing eye and knows how to communicate- and when you are trying to shoot an entire wedding party it can be hectic, simply based on the fact that it is a lot of people to keep focused at one time.
  
  When she shot our wedding, I was so unbelievably overwhelmed on the day of. I didn't think I would be, but I was... and this is where I think that having a photographer with a good "bedside manner" is of epic importance. In my nervous state on wedding day, if I had had a photographer around that had a snappy, bossy or over-controlling sort of energy, it might have sent me over the edge... but Meg actually helped me to relax.... and this is what I think is so special about Meg--- Yes, she is an amazing photographer but she is also a really intuitive, smart, charming person and she just has this wonderful way about her, which is very appreciated on such a crazy big day. She is the type of person that you'd want to hang out with- she makes you feel very comfortable. I just really felt like she had my back the whole time.
  
  Again, she got through all of our group photos quickly and methodically, but with that same lovliness about her. Even when I was about to kill some of my husband's groomsmen for not cooperating, she was able to take it all in stride and keep a collected easy approach to her work. When she shot the rest of the wedding, I hardly noticed that she was there, snapping away... She is not the kind of photographer that awkwardly lingers, or makes you stop what you are doing to get what she wants. She is just incredibly professional, incredibly awesome as a person, and incredibly good at what she does.
  
  I couldn't recommend her more. I send all of my newly engaged friends in California her way.
  You should also consider a photo-booth for your wedding if it fits into your budget! I LOVE he pics that we got from ours!!!

  Meg was amazing! From day one she was professional yet fun and creative. We had a great time shooting with her, she has a way of making you relaxed and feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our wedding day was so wonderful and I absolutely love the pictures. We highly recommend Meg!

  Meg is the best photographer I could have ever asked for. Not only did she make me feel incredibly comfortable (as a camera shy person you would NEVER know by the pictures) but her photos surpassed anything I ever could have imagined, and surpass anything I've ever seen from my friend's wedding photos. She's (literally) the BEST!! And an incredibly sweet person to boot.

  We wish there was a higher rating that a "5!" Meg is an fabulous photographer and a true professional. There are so many wonderful praises we want to give...our words cannot even express how pleased we are with her work. Meg was SO flexible and accommodating with us from the start. She makes you feel at-ease and comfortable in front of the camera. Working with her was a pleasure and she is a total blast to hang out with. We were having fun and laughing the entire time! Our relatives and friends were singing her praises after receiving some of our engagement pictures we included with our wedding invitation.
  
  This is key - Meg is artistically talented with an amazing capacity to capture those special moments without being intrusive or "taking over" the wedding day like some photographers do. All throughout the day, our family and friends were pulling us aside to comment on how professional she was.
  
  Meg goes above and beyond and she remembered to photograph things that even we forgot to mention! She photographed our invitation suite and also pictures of our wedding favors, for which we spend many hours making very special for each guest.
  
  There were so many great pictures that we had such a difficult time narrowing down which ones to select for our albums! We are very much looking forward to future occassions when we can give Meg a call and set up time with her again.   Meg Perotti was amazing to work with, from the email that we started with to the finish, which is still ongoing--we're planning to order lots of photos in the new year. She takes beautiful pictures, but what really stood out for me, as half of a couple who felt a little goofy about posing and being the center of attention for a whole weekend straight, was how comfortable she made us feel right away. We planned our Santa Barbara wedding from Boston, so we didn't get to meet Meg until a week before the wedding, and she was funny, sweet, nice, and really chill and genuine at our first meeting. She also really listened to what we were hoping for and was very willing to work with our graduate student budget. At the wedding she totally made us laugh during the portraits and got images that really truly look like us. During the wedding ceremony, she and her assistant were very unobtrusive--I didn't even know or think about where they were--but they got incredible images that we'll always love. At the reception they made sure to get lots of candids of our friends and family, which we had asked for, and they also got tons of great shots of us that we love. she also took amazing 'detail' shots of the venue, place settings, etc. that we didn't have time to really appreciate the day of, but are so glad to remember now. Her post-wedding customer service has been prompt, helpful, and has just reinforced that we're so glad we chose Meg to be our photographer.   We were so lucky to have Meg as our wedding photographer! From the moment we met Meg, her warmth and professionalism shone through, and she "got it" from step one. For both our engagement session and on our big day, her flexibility and enthusiasm put us at ease, while her preparation, fine-art approach, and creative vision ensured the photos were incredible! She took the time to get to know us and our inspiration for the wedding, and really captured our vision and emotions on our big day. We couldn't be more thrilled with our beautiful photographs or with our experience working with Meg!

  Meg was absolutely AMAZING! She was such a joy to work with and her work was just stunning. Several of our friends, family and wedding guests commented that the pictures looked like they were part of a magazine shoot. We couldn't be happier with how all the photrographs turned out!!!

  Having Meg as our photographer was the best wedding planning decision we made. Working with her was very easy - she made the whole process stress free and was very open to our ideas, while suggesting other photo possibilities. During the ceremony she blended in with the crowd and rounded up all our troops for photos without being obnoxious or rude. Her photos turned out so beautifully and she designed a gorgeous album that captured the look and feel of our wedding (not some generic album). In fact our wedding venue ordered a copy for their office. I highly recommend Meg if you're looking for a photographer. She was AMAZING and her price was very reasonable.

  Meg was wonderful! I loved her photography style. She captured every moment that I wanted captured, plus she did it with an artistry that was simply stunning. She was very easy to work with, came with a great portfolio, and had great suggestions!

  Meg was fantastic! She has a natural eye for the things that will make beautiful pictures, and her sense of composition and light is unexcelled. She and Heather Kincaid, who was her second shooter for the day (and also a brilliant photographer), blended seamlessly into the crowd and were never intrusive, controlling or demanding. It just felt like they were two guests who happened to have terrific cameras. They handled all of our requested formal shots beautifully, but their real talents can be seen in the candids and photojournalistic pictures they turned out. Looking over our pictures makes me feel like I'm right in the thick of it all over again! I can't praise them enough.

  I found Meg online. The photos that she had on her website were breathtaking. I didn't get a chance to meet her in person before the wedding, but I spoke to her through email and over the phone. I only booked her for the ceremony and formal photos due to our budget. She did a great job taking the photos for our wedding...she took some amazing shots. I would definitely recommend her to other brides.

  PLEASE do not use this company! They were really nice but unprofessional. I have been working with Meg Perotti. I cannot believe her and her partner disappeared during the wedding. I have no pictures of any guest at the wedding. She promised to take many pictures and I was surprised to see how little there was and how the whole middle of the wedding was missing. Even guest and other vendors ask about the where abouts of our photographer. I feel that she was minimizing our wedding day and value as a consumer. Again, she is was paid very well and all I could say is lucky we had family and friends to send us pictures! Can you imagine not seeing your photographer the whole middle of our wedding. She was nice but she was not doing her job and I think she felt she was doing us a favor. We are PAYING for services! She took pictures of the kids more than the bride and groom. The contract was unbreakable, you must still pay even if you do not use their services! I hope that everyone that has used this company complains to the better business bureau. She is young and did not even come close to what she promised to do for us. Once she got her deposit it was all over. We had a videographer there a shorter amount of time and they caught more of the wedding than por photographer, thats sad if you ask me...
  I forgot to mention the top of our heads were cut off in half the pictures.
