  Scott is the best!

  We were so happy with our photos!! Scott was so easy to work with and helped bring our vision to life with his photos! We got our photos back within a week of getting married and they were perfect! Scott was so helpful on the day of our wedding by guiding us through different poses and scenery to get the most amazing photos. Highly recommend!!!

  Amazing Wedding Photographer!

  My wife and I found Scott through our wedding venue at Zukas. As soon as he showed us his portfolio we knew he was the perfect photographer for our wedding. Leading up to the wedding he communicated very well so we had no worries before the wedding. The day of the wedding him and his helper were very professional and most importantly they were very creative with the photography. Through out our wedding day they were extremely easy to communicate with and made our wedding day alot easier because of it. The final results were better than we could of imagined. We can not recommend them enough!

  Metzger Studios is Fantastic

  I met Scott when he was photographing my friend's wedding during COVID, and was impressed by his talent, creativity and friendliness. We hired him as our wedding photographer, and was so glad we did! He was super responsive, and so supportive on the day of the wedding. I wouldn't have picked anyone else to capture our special day, he's really the best! Very reasonably priced, and captured every photo we could have wanted that day.

  The absolute BEST

  Scott was the absolute best photographer. He was so fun to work with and made the wedding day stress-free. He knew what our vision was for our wedding day and took such amazing photographs. He made it fun with our group to take pictures and get really great candids. He was extremely kind and outgoing and I would recommend him to anyone looking for photography in this area!

  The Best Wedding Photographer!

  It was a dream working with Scott for our wedding. We seriously could not have asked for a better photographer. He was so easy to work with and did the best job capturing our day and not to mention how easy and fun he made taking the portraits. He had our whole wedding party smiling and laughing the whole time and made my fiance and I so comfortable with the all the different poses. The portraits turned out so perfect and I also highly recommend getting the photo album from Scott, ours was so perfect. I will be recommending Scott to everyone and know that he will crush just like he did at our wedding.

  Very pleased with our photos!

  Scott was great to work with from the start. He was very responsive and answered all our questions, I even sent him a copy of the wedding day timeline to ensure he agreed and had enough time to capture the shots we wanted.
  On our wedding day I can tell Scott & his assistant Patrick had a creative eye from the start. He wanted us to be comfortable and have fun with the shots. Throughout the day we rolled with the punches and even got some fun shots based on what was around us. Every photo came out amazing and makes it hard to pick pictures to print & add to our album. Would 100% recommend!

  So happy to have had Scott as our photographer

  We knew right away we wanted to have Scott shoot our wedding. His photography is simply excellent - composing shots that are far more than the typical cookie-cutter poses other photographers offer.
  
  From the first consultation to the final delivery of our photos, Scott was the epitome of professionalism, skill, and adaptability. Moreover, Scott was fantastic with our multi-lingual guest list with many guests speaking only mandarin or only Cantonese and very little english.
  
  Scott's professionalism was evident from the outset. He was punctual, well-prepared, and exuded a calming presence that immediately put everyone at ease. He truly understood the significance of our special day and took the time to get to know us as a couple to create the perfect portfolio. The fact that he is experienced with wedding photography as well as experience shooting at our venue before made things smoother and we could clearly see the added creativity and skill he was able to bring from that experience.

  Amazing photographer!

  Scott was very accommodating and helpful when planning with him. Our wedding went extremely well and the photos were outstanding and he really got some awesome creative photos that we were not expecting. He went above and beyond. Because of this we will recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer who really knows what they are doing. Thank you scott for helping us create these ever lasting memories!!

  Fantastic Photographer

  Scott photographed our wedding in August of 2023 and we could not recommend him more. We knew of his incredible work as he had shot the groom’s sister’s wedding a few years before. The photos from that wedding were creative, artistic, and, simply put, stunning. It didn’t take much to convince either one of us to go with him as we were both drawn to his unique style and original point of view.
  
  Scott was so easy to work with, right from the first time we contacted him. All of his responses were timely and professional, whether via email or phone. We met via Zoom to discuss his services and pricing and immediately felt at ease. For an incredibly fair price, we got Scott and a second photographer (Kathy) for 8 hours. Also included was an album with 60 retouched photos, a thumb drive with all the photos taken, and an incredibly sweet blog post highlighting some of the gorgeous photos from our day. He also guaranteed that if he couldn’t make it on the day of the wedding for whatever reason, he would provide a back-up photographer for us.
  
  On the actual wedding day, we gave Scott complete artistic license to bring our day to life through photos. His work with reflections is so second to none; it’s so interesting to see ourselves reflected in a wine glass or a table top. He did a great job corralling our large families to get all the shots we had asked for, especially given that the sun was setting and the natural light was quickly disappearing. He kept everyone on task and did it in such a way that it only enhanced our experience with him.
  
  Many of our friends and family complimented Scott's (and Kathy’s) professionalism and willingness to accommodate any requests that our guests made of him for their own unique pictures all while making sure we were his priority throughout the day.
  
  After the wedding, Scott created a beautiful slideshow on YouTube that we were able to show our guests. It so perfectly encapsulated our day, especially given how quickly it seemed to pass for both of us.
  
  We cannot recommend Scott Metzger enough. His artistic vision is eye-catching and visually appealing. He is very fairly priced and incredibly easy to work with. If you’re looking for a photographer with an artistic eye and that listens to what you want out of your photos, please consider Scott.

  Excellent Photographer!

  We truly had a great experience working with Scott! He photographed our outdoor wedding, and did a beautiful job capturing us, our guests, and the scenery. He was professional and easy to work with throughout the entire process, made us feel very comfortable, and always checked in with us to get our feedback throughout the day. He was attentive to the wedding day timeline, captured some really creative shots, and got us out of our comfort zone a little bit. We highly recommend Scott!

  Amazing photographer!

  After attending a friend’s wedding, seeing Scott in action, and seeing how their photos came out, we knew right away that Scott was going to be our first choice for a wedding photographer.
  
  Two years later… we are beyond happy that we chose Scott as our wedding photographer! He is the absolute best! Scott captured our day perfectly and efficiently. Even with all of the formal photos, we were left with so much time to enjoy the day. He was incredibly easy to work with and naturally directed us to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Photography is such an important part of the day, yet Scott made it stress free and fun. From the formals to candids, Scott did not miss a thing!   Amazing Wedding Photographer

  Scott was our absolute favorite vendor of the night. Not only did he look amazing in his nature vest, but he did an incredible job with his photos. He was super responsive leading up to the wedding and collaborated with me on the different shots to get throughout the evening. My (now) husband doesn't enjoy getting his photo taken, and Scott was super conscious of ensuring that he did not make my husband feel uncomfortable throughout the night. I've gotten so many incredible compliments on Scott's (and his assistant Patrick's) photos, I HIGHLY recommend him for any event you plan to host!

  Metzger = photo-genius!

  Scott Metzger is a photo-genius! When my daughter announced she planned a Lexington Town Hall within the month, with only a dozen immediate relatives, I began frantically searching for a local photographer. To be honest, while immediately enchanted by Metzger Studios portfolio with award winning acclaim, I feared Scott would be both unaffordable and unavailable. However, once Scott and I touched base by phone I was delighted to find Metzger Studios available in town for the Tuesday afternoon booked, and offering a reasonable package to suit our needs. Within just over a two hour span, Scott produce an array of over 300 photos so fabulous, my daughter hesitated to let me post them on social media at first for fear her friends she's had an elaborate full scale wedding and not invited them! None of us had any wedding planning experience, so Scott, like a seasoned pro, lightly guided us as needed to capture phenomenal photos capturing memories that will last a lifetime. All the while he maintains an inconspicuous presence, you barely notice, subtly commanding wile demure. I am so glad I did not shy away from his award winning genius. Thanks Scott!!!

  Everyone knows weddings are stressful. Everyone wants things to go as near perfect as they can get it. Especially with photos which will last a life time. Scott and his second in command Javier did what we were hoping for and so much more on top of that. Scott was super communicative from day 1 when we first contacted him to ask about his services and how he operates as a photographer. Upon hearing his answer and learning more about his style of photography, we knew we wanted him to play a role in our special day to capture it and help make our memories last. Throughout the process of planning the wedding, Scott was great about staying in touch and planning a few times to call on the phone to touch base about the time line for the day, and responding in a timely manner to any emails we sent his way. The day of the wedding, Scott and Javier made the day so special, they came up with creative poses and photo opportunity ideas. They laughed with us all and joked around which kept the stress down to a minimum for us. The passion they both put into their work shows with how they were capturing the day, and the results were absolutley amazing upon seeing the slideshow Scott put together for us.   Perfect Fall Wedding Photography

  Scott was amazing and my husband and I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. He was professional, knowledgeable, creative, and made sure our day was just what we wanted, and he captured it that way too! We did not have a videographer for our wedding, but we did not need one with Scott. Scott captured every moment behind the lense from out formal photos, ceremony, first look, reception, and multiple candid shots. His photography is beautiful and he gets all of the details of the day captured for your memories. We have truly enjoyed reliving our fall wedding through his photos and the album we received. Communication with Scott was easy and he was continually reassuring us that our wedding day would include all of the memories and moments we wanted with his photography! There are not enough words to express how truly grateful we were to have had him as our photographer, and recommend every couple looking to capture their special day to reach out to Scott and have it captured through his lens!

His photography is beautiful and he gets all of the details of the day captured for your memories. We have truly enjoyed reliving our fall wedding through his photos and the album we received. Communication with Scott was easy and he was continually reassuring us that our wedding day would include all of the memories and moments we wanted with his photography!   Wedding photographer

  We could not have asked for a better photographer or person to work with for our engagement session and wedding day. From first meeting, he was punctual, professional, and had a great sense of humor which really made us feel at ease from the get go! He was incredibly respectful of the most intimate moments during our big day, almost as if he wasn’t even there yet capturing each of those moments perfectly . Not to mention, he was patient with answering the several questions I had throughout the planning process. Last but not least, he is SO creative and style is so unique that I’ve never seen in wedding photos . Our day was so magical and he captured the emotion and vibe flawlessly. Thank you Scott and Javier !

From the very beginning, Scott was incredibly responsive and professional when discussing what were included in his services. He was SO patient with answering all of my questions about absolutely anything. I never once felt uncomfortable reaching out with questions both big and small.   Everyone needs a Scott for their wedding day !

  The best decision I made on my wedding day (besides marrying my husband) was hiring Scott! We got married March 2021 and due to the pandemic we never were certain about, anything really. We didn't even pick a venue until 2 weeks before our wedding date. Scott was completely understanding and totally flexible. His communication was excellent, always responding quickly and ready to be of assistance. He made a very stressful time much more enjoyable and worry free. The day of he was amazing, there were moments I did not even know he was there until seeing the picture afterwards! He captured brilliant and stunning photos. He was really great at giving direction and he didn't miss a beat. I feel like my photos belong in a magazine! Not to mention, I received them like 3 days after my wedding! If you want to do one thing right, pick Scott for photography. Thanks Scott =)

  I cannot speak more highly about the work Scott and his team captured for our wedding. Scott and his team are creative, thoughtful, and responsive and captured the most unique and beautiful images of our wedding celebration.

  Easy Going and Flexible

  Scott is amazing- He is easy-going and flexible! He was fun to work with and his albums and photos truly highlight his artistic abilities. He was extremely accommodating with our COVID reschedules and all of the unknowns that go with planning a COVID wedding! We are so grateful for his work and talents.
