  Amazing Experience

  Michael was amazing to work with. We not only have worked with him for our wedding but have had our engagement, newborn and maternity photos. Being a bride during Covid has presented many challenges with planning. Michael was patient with all of our changes and venue change 90 days out. He is patient and provides humor especially when needed. Michael also helped a lot day of the wedding, including helping to bustle my dress when it came out. Having worked with him multiple times, has been nothing short than a blessing. He knows us, our family and our dog and he has treated us like his family. We can't wait to work with him again and see our amazing wedding photos.

  Fantastic Photographer!

  Wow! Michael was incredible to work with from the start to finish and truly contributed to the success of our wedding. He is responsive, easy to talk to, and quickly got us both to feel more comfortable being photographed. Throughout the wedding process, he acted as more than a photographer, getting to personally know family and those in our wedding party, and stepping in for everything from safety pins to helping us with the marriage license. He made the whole process enjoyable and has a presence that is both calming and fun. Don’t hesitate to book!

  Wonderful experience with Michael!

  Michael was absolutely wonderful! My wife and I had a two day cultural wedding, so it was a very busy weekend with many details and somewhat complicated logistics. Michael was so patient and professional even with the long 12-15 hour days. He was not only prepared for photography, but he was also prepared for any bridal emergency such as Bobby pins, oil blots, and many other goodies in his waist pack. He worked very hard to make us comfortable and make our weekend as perfect as possible, which it certainly was. Through his tall stature and funny jokes, he was able to capture the attention of children and adults. Michael also did a great job working with our videographer throughout the weekend, quickly building a rapport within minutes of meeting. Michael’s work was very detailed and he was able to capture all of the important details from the decoration, to the food, to the cultural traditions, and to the beautiful smiles of our family and friends. As soon as we received the photos, we were in love with every single one. Photos were perfect! We have no regrets in choosing Michael and we would certainly like to use him again! We highly recommend Michael and his team.

  The Best Vendor From Our Wedding

  If this is the only sentence you read of this review, just know that if you book Michael Chadwick to be your wedding photographer, it’ll be the best decision you could make regarding your special day (or any other event you’re hoping to hire him for). We first met Michael two years ago, when he helped my now husband plan the perfect proposal at Grounds for Sculpture. Josh and Michael went to the location a few days beforehand to scope out the layout and on the day of, in extreme heat, he literally hid in the bushes to capture the moment. We knew that very day we wanted him to be our wedding photographer. Michael is not only extremely talented, but his compassion, knowledge and kindness, separate him from any other vendor we have ever worked with. Michael and Christopher make an incredible team and were an absolute pleasure to work with the day-of. Michael also did a great job communicating with us leading up to the wedding and on the day of literally had everything we could have ever needed (safety pins, stain stick, etc.). He even helped my bridesmaids bustle my dress. Michael truly made our wedding go as smooth as possible, and we cannot begin to thank him enough as he will forever be a part of our special day.

  To make it easy, if you’re looking for a wedding photographer and Michael Chadwick has availability, you should stop looking. While I do not have experience with and thus can’t compare against other wedding photographers, I can honestly say that Michael and his team bring so much to the table that I would not have wanted to work with anyone else.
  
  We had the pleasure of working with Michael throughout the day and both Michael and Chris during the ceremony and reception. I think the most important points to emphasize was how experienced, flexible, and professional they both were. Through the pre-wedding photos and the photography at the event, it was clear how important it was to have a photographer who could anticipate problems, advise and take advantage of opportunities, and roll with the punches. Michael not only was able to provide suggestions for photos in Philadelphia, but also helped to direct our driver through city traffic. He was prepared and easily worked around tourists, guest personalities, and a popped tuxedo button.
  
  Michael routinely went above and beyond in the pursuit of keeping the wedding party happy and comfortable. And I like to think that our comfort lead to authentic and beautiful photos of our wedding day. I truly cannot say enough about how great the experience was. Suffice to say, I wholeheartedly recommend their service.

  The best of the best!

  When you book Michael as the photographer for your wedding, he's not just your photographer- he becomes family for the day. And that's exactly what you want! He was amazing! To be honest, I really didn't give him a lot of information to work with beforehand because I didn't know what kind of photos I would want. But of course he worked his magic and I can tell just from the small preview that we received, we are going to be thrilled. My guests are still talking about how awesome him and Chris were throughout the night. They were always there to get the perfect photo. We can't wait to see the rest of the pictures!   Michael is truly the best and captures the beauty in every photo.

  The moment we met Michael we knew, from his professionalism to his height, he would be able to capture our day. It was very comforting knowing that Michael was available not only for photography question but for all things that come with planning a wedding, its not his first rodeo. Day of the wedding Michael was ready for anything, he even had a trusty survival kit attached to his belt. He made sure we got every photo request we had and was ready for the unexpected, like our first dance. We had a choreographed first dance and the photos Michael and his team member captured was amazing! If your looking for a photographer to capture your wedding and display the true beauty of the day than look no further.

  Mike was excellent!!

  Mike was fantastic! He was really able to capture our big day and provided some excellent comic relief throughout it all. He remembered everyone's name in our families PLUS a 22-person bridal party!! (Which included a set of twins). A big thank you to Mike for helping to make our day so special and memorable!

  Michael Chadwick Photography is the BEST!!

  My daughter was married in August 2018 and we used Michael Chadwick Photography. We have wonderful memories because he and his assistant captured beautiful and fabulous pictures of this special day celebrated by family and friends! He and his assistant were NOT intrusive on any part of the ceremony, cocktail hour or dinner, yet managed to take great pictures. He did not stand in front of pastor, bride and groom during the ceremony blocking everyone's view like other photographers have done at different weddings we have attended. My daughter called Michael and left a message and he called her back immediately. Other photographers she also contacted didn't call back until days later. She talked to Michael and explained what pictures she, her groom and the families wanted and he definitely listened, took his time with her on the phone and took those photos and so many more. He is very pleasant and upbeat to work with and I strongly and wholeheartedly recommend Michael Chadwick Photography to all.

  Everyone should hire him for their wedding

  Michael was a terrific, joyful photographer who took excellent care of us throughout our entire engagement, wedding day and beyond. He was the photographer for my sister's wedding at the Bradford and he was the first vendor we booked for our wedding at the Merion. He was very organized, communicative and fun to work with before the wedding. He asked a lot of questions beforehand and really listened to what we wanted. On the big day, he helped us feel relaxed and captured our real emotions during all the big and small moments. His photos do an amazing job of showing the joy and celebration of the occasion. It was a pleasure getting to know him and we plan to stay in touch. We would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a great photographer for their wedding! If we could give him extra stars, we would!!

  Meet with Michael Chadwick and book with him!

  So this will probably be the east review I could ever write. I emailed Michael Chadwick on a Saturday night, and within 30 minutes I had a call back from him. He was easy to talk to, friendly, and knowledgable. My biggest concern in hiring a photography was someone who had shot same-sex weddings previously. Not only had he and his staff, but he was able to speak to my concerns.
  
  When we met with Michael, we instantly fell in love with him and it felt like I found my new best friend in our meeting. We blew through the hour of talking to him, and the moment we walked out the door, we knew we found our photographer. He was at our venue early to get a "lay of the land" and speak with our venue coordinator to pick out some spots for shots.
  
  Our families fell in love with Michael as soon as they met him. Not only did he get all of the shots we wanted, but he accommodated my "Oh, I forgot, can we also get..." requests. He joked with us and our family, and got some wonderful smiles. He made dealing with some more of our difficult family members seem effortless. I have been to and part of many weddings, and found him to be THE BEST photographer to work with. A sentiment shared by family and friends, almost all of whom had dealt with wedding photographers as well.
  
  Receiving our photos through an app, his web portal and USB was easy and fun. They were delivered in a very timely fashion, and we can’t wait to have our wedding photos adorn our home for the rest of our lives!

  What can I say, having the photographer there was awesome! From the moment we met Mike, we felt so welcome! We had Sheldon at our wedding and he, also, was so nice and accommodating. He worked so hard to get the best shots and we're glad we chose Chadwick Arts!

  Michael is absolutely amazing! He not only captured our special day, but also brought humor, fun, and calmness (especially for me, the bride, when I needed it most) throughout the whole day! Our entire family and bridal party made several comments as well on how wonderful and fun Michael (and Sarah) were. Not only did he make it a point to take amazing photographs, but he was there for just about anything that came up during the day. For example, my grandma had trouble pinning her flower to her dress, so Michael pulled out some double sided tape from his bag and saved her day! In addition to the actual wedding day, Michael sent many check in emails in the months prior to the wedding day to see if we needed any help or advice. He didn't just take great photos for us, but he truly played an integral role in our wedding planning adventure from the very beginning. We actually wish Michael could have been one of our guests because he is so much fun to interact with :) However, his photos are amazing and we honestly can't recommend Michael enough!!

In addition to the actual wedding day, Michael sent many check in emails in the months prior to the wedding day to see if we needed any help or advice. He didn't just take great photos for us, but he truly played an integral role in our wedding planning adventure from the very beginning. We actually wish Michael could have been one of our guests because he is so much fun to interact with :) However, his photos are amazing and we honestly can't recommend Michael enough!!

  Michael was referred to me by a friend that got married and they LOVED him. I went and met with Michael and I knew he was the photographer for us and we were not disappointed.
  We have 3 kids that are not the easiest to get to smile, and with his background in theater, Michael made sure everyone was smiling and it looked natural. Also, I didn't want a ton of posed pictures, I was more about the candid shots and boy did Michael and his partner get candid shots! So many of the dance floor and people mingling, they are awesome. My final request was that I wanted to get to my cocktail hour. We did not do a first look, so we had to get all our portraits together done right after the ceremony and with two large families that was not going to be easy. Michael was sure to keep everything running efficiently and organized. Not only did we get some beautiful shots, my husband and I made 40 minutes of our cocktail hour!
  But Michael was MUCH more than a photographer. He was helping my mom get some things placed around our venue. He has a fanny pack that has just about anything you could ever want in it and we was very consultative! Most importantly, he was patient. As we know things can get crazy before a wedding, especially for the bride and Michael was calm cool and collected.
  Every person was like I can't wait to see your pictures, your photographer was everywhere (including in the bushes to get that great shot of the ceremony) and not one person, including me, was disappointed.

  My husband and I could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. Michael and his assistant Sheldon were the photographers on the day of our wedding (11/18/17) and they were both extremely nice, funny, professional, and helped the day run smoothly. We could not have asked for better photographers to help capture our wedding day!
  We came across Michael because he was one of the recommended vendors for photographers at our venue. We spoke with a few photographers before choosing Michael and felt that he was honest, friendly, relatable and more than just a photographer. Michael comes equipped with not only his camera, but a satchel filled with every possible thing you would need for your wedding day (bobbie pins for every hair color, double sided fashion tape, stuff so your shoes don't slip, etc.). The hair and make up artist on the day of the wedding were even impressed with what Michael had carried with him for the "just in case" situations!
  Besides capturing the most beautiful moments of our wedding, Michael also helped to take my veil out, bustle my dress, and assisted my aunt when her scarf caught on fire from a candle! He goes above and beyond just being a photographer and is without a doubt the best.
  We got our photos back quickly and truly enjoyed looking back on our wedding day and laughing at moments we missed throughout the night! Many of our family members still talk about how great our wedding photographer was! I would highly recommend Michael to anyone and everyone!

I could not have been happier with the services that Michael provides and the amazing photos! Michael is very attentive and helpful before, during, and after the wedding. Answering questions, carrying around a bag with every item one could possibly need on the wedding day, super friendly, keeps the humor going throughout the entire process, helpful when creating an album and choosing photos...the list goes on and on.   My husband and I got married 9/29/17. We had Mike do all our photography with a help from a second shooter of his, Kat, I believe. Mike is amazing. He spent the morning with me and the girls and then was with us until the very end. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
