Miss Mamie's is the best! We checked out a few other bakeries and Miss Mamie's was the absolute front-runner. Lindsey was awesome, giving us great flavor suggestions. We settled on two cakes - a Groom's cake (Guinness chocolate cake with Bourbon caramel and espresso buttercream - OMG!) and our wedding cake (almond with vanilla buttercream on two layers and lemon with raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting on the bottom tier). They were delicious and beautiful. Our guests raved! Thank you to the Miss Mamie's team for making our cake dreams come true! -

User2497954 Sent on 01/07/2016Our wedding cake was absolutely delicious! We had a super cute, two tiered pumpkin and cream cheese semi frosted cake. They were great to work with in the planning stages, we got to taste all of their yummy selections and the pumpkin was just to die for. Everything was perfect! -

Anna Sent on 09/01/2015The wedding cake is the very last vendor we started looking for. I had a VERY specific idea of the type of cake and look I wanted. No joke, I probably reached out to 20-30 bakers in the Atlanta area with pictures and a long description of what I was looking for, including budget. Miss Mamie's immediately impressed. I have been working with Lindsey and she initially emailed back and forth with us and creatively thought of different ideas that we could implement to help keep our wedding cake in budget. We decided to try a tasting in Buckhead (I believe it is a new location for them) and were very impressed with the gorgeous set up and initial presentation. Lindsey gave us about 10 different cake flavors to try in "mini cupcake" form. She explained each flavor/icing and then left my fiance and I alone to cake taste together. It was super fun and not to mention DELICIOUS! Yum! It was so hard to narrow down to just 5 options! Lindsey knew I wanted to "grand" cake look but wanted to stay in budget. Miss Mamie's is going to make a "baby 5 tier" (the name doesn't do it justice, it is still just as tall and grand as a 5 tier cake) with buttercream frosting frosted so perfectly that people think its fondant icing! She had the pictures I emailed in front of her and helped me think of different decor options we could implement to keep the classic/grand feel I was going for while keeping costs down. We settled on classic white with pearls dripping down each layer. It will literally look like someone flipped my cake over and dipped it in pearls! I am so excited! They will also deliver the cake to us the day of which takes a lot of stress off of our hands. I will update in November post wedding! -

We got a small cake and cupcakes from Miss Mamie's. They were both delicious. The cupcakes were luxurious but approachably priced. The people working with us from Mamie's were incredibly kind, supportive, and realistic with us. They understood what we needed and helped us get there. I recommend them completely. -
User996624 Sent on 10/30/2012We went with cupcakes for wedding cake and found Miss Mamie...These are the best cupcakes in GA! Proven by Ms. Mamie's recent win on Cupcake Wars. She was extremely flexible. They delivered the cupcakes all the way up to Clarkesville, GA for a very reasonable cost. We were allowed unlimited flavors and every flavor was amazing!! My favorite was cheesecake...they also have Guinness, Blueberry, Margarita along with regular flavors. The cupcakes were a hit at the wedding!

User1106569 Sent on 03/10/2013SOOOOOO many compliments on these cupcakes!!! Every flavor we picked was absolutely delicious and the guests LOVED them.
The tasting we had was some of the most fun I had during the wedding planning process. They brought us a HUGE plate of cupcakes and offered to bring us any flavor we wanted to try. Then they sent all the leftovers home with us -- I think that our diet was at least 50% cupcake over the next few days!
We had a small cake made for cutting as well and it was adorable and VERY reasonably priced.
My ONLY complaint is that I called to request takeaway boxes the week before and they said they could be billed to the credit card I had on file -- but on the day of the takeaway boxes were nowhere to be found. So, there were a few leftover cupcakes that went to waste because people did not have a means to take them home. Sad!
Overall though they did a fantastic job. -

Jordan Sent on 10/02/2018We ordered our desserts from Miss Mamie's and we couldn't have made a better decision. We did a mini-dessert bar with about a billion different options and our guests were PUMPED! Everything looked so good and tasted perfect. The Guinness cupcakes and the banana pudding tarts were the biggest hits closely followed by the chocolate peanut butter tarts and the oatmeal cranberry pecan cookies. We loved having these fantastic desserts as part of our day!
I'll post pictures once I get them back from the photographer! These desserts were beautiful!
