  100% would recommend!

  My daughter got married on New Year’s Eve 2018 in Newport, RI which turned out to be a spectacular weekend of events. I hired Myriam Michel of M&M Elite Events to work with me on the wedding planning, and I was more than satisfied with the service and the results. Even though another of my daughters had gotten married some years ago, I had forgotten how many details and stress are involved in the planning of a wedding. I initially started do the wedding planning by myself, but soon realized that I needed the services of a professional wedding planner to help with all of the myriad details. Myriam turned out to be the unsung hero of the entire weekend!
  I found Myriam to be very organized and very easy to work with, and her vendors from florists to photographers to lighting designers were all top notch and responsive to my needs and vision and to our budget. Myriam and I had weekly phone calls to check on the progress of the wedding planning and more frequent emails and texts as necessary in the months leading up to the event. Myriam was always available whenever I needed her.
  On the day of the wedding, and throughout the wedding weekend, Myriam took care of all of the details from dropping off welcome bags to various hotels, to picking up food platters for the bridal party as they were getting their hair and make-up done, to bringing extra hair dryers and clothes steamers to our guests as needed, to providing babysitters for our grandchildren and various nieces and nephews. At the end of the day, my only concern and that of my entire family on the day of the wedding was to be in the moment and enjoy the entire event which all of us did.
  In short, I would highly recommend Myriam and her team at M&M Elite Events and would be more than happy to speak personally with anyone who is considering hiring her for any type of major event.

  Ever since we signed on with M&M, we tell every couple we know that the FIRST THING they should do if they get engaged is hire a wedding planner (more specifically, our wedding planner). A number of amenities were made affordable, and therefore feasible, because we hired M&M. The rates we received from vendors, with Myriam as our representative, were far more favorable then the ones we sussed out before hiring her. Not only were the prices great, but the service was also exceptional. Her professionalism and reputation spurred vendors to do an excellent job so that she would one day advocate for them, too.
  
  Before we hired Myriam, we had very little idea of how much we should expect to spend, and as a result, we were hesitant to make any firm commitments. We had been engaged a year and a half when we met Myriam, and had decided upon absolutely nothing.
  
  I am especially thankful for Myriam's patience with us as we got used to synthesizing and articulating the details of our dream wedding. Wedding planners have to be gifted arbitrators, since the traditions, wishes, and opinions of two people (and by extension, two families) have to be weighed equally, and ultimately reconciled into something unique, memorable, and beautiful.
  
  In the days leading up to the wedding, my bridesmaids frequently commented (with no small amount of surprise and relief) about how relaxed I was going into the big day. I think that's because I had entrusted my wedding to the right person.

There was not one single person who was not in awe of how beautiful the decor and the night was. From beginning to end, Myriam was very hands on, communicative, and professional. I was so happy with my decision to go with M&M to plan the day I will remember forever.

  Myriam was absolutely incredible to work with! We brought her in a little late in the wedding planning game and she jumped in head first and took control of exactly what we needed. Day of, and even day after, she went above and beyond and I would recommend M&M Elite Planning to anyone. She was such a joy to have around and managed everything with ease.

  What can I say but Myriam is truly amazing and saved me from stressing out trying to plan my own wedding. Weddings are stressful period, especially if you live out of state! My experience with Myriam was exceptional. We had a month to plan a wedding in our hometown and without Myriam I could not have done it by myself. I told her exactly what I wanted and what I didn’t want and she planned it all in the time frame we needed. She was very flexible and accommodating for any last minute changes. My wedding day was so stress free I was able to enjoy every moment with no worry and that is exactly what I wanted! I could not recommend a better planner and person than Myriam to plan your special day. 5 Gold Stars!!!!!

  We love Myriam! She (and her assistant Rachel) was our day-of coordinator, but really was more of a month-of coordinator. She put together our timeline, coordinated with all of our vendors, and made sure our rehearsal and wedding were flawless. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect - and if anything went wrong, I didn't know about it, which is exactly why I wanted a coordinator. Our wedding was less than traditional, hosted at the two-level Charles River Museum of Industry, complete with a cocktail hour downstairs and reception upstairs. Our guests - and we - noticed how smoothly things were running and it made for a wonderfully relaxed event. Myriam even noticed when we hadn't signed our marriage license and made sure that was completed.

  Our wedding day was the happiest day of our life, and all we had to do was focus on getting married. Why? Because M&M Elite Events took away the stress of “wedding planning”. They are experts at what they do, and we look forward to the next time we can work together.
  
  When we hired M&M, we did NOT give them much time— less than 5 months. Our event was fairly complex and required multiple locations, transportation needs, several outside vendors, and a huge amount of logistics. We had 60 out-of-towners, a rehearsal & dinner followed by drinks with guests, a wedding after-party, a post-wedding brunch, AND a “honeymoon send-off” event. M&M had a hand in the planning of ALL of these events, and didn’t miss a beat.
  
  Myriam Michel, the head of the company, is an incredibly easygoing event planning professional who brings years of experience to the table, including event planning for the International Studies department at Boston University. She is a logistical mastermind and “doesn’t get stressed” (it’s true!), which put the wedding party and our family members at ease.
  
  M&M has long-standing relationships with a number of vendors in the area, and worked fluidly with everyone. The team produced a detailed (and extensive) wedding weekend timeline to keep everyone on schedule. M&M staff handled communication and project management efficiently, responding to emails and texts within minutes (or, seconds), and their task completion rate was phenomenal. They kept our data well organized, and utilized user-friendly tools for project management and budgeting.
  
  We were so impressed with the way the day went— honestly, it was perfect, and we owe much of this to M&M. They are true professionals who keep the “big picture” in mind, while still being there when you need them at critical moments. We loved and appreciated the surprise gift that M&M thoughtfully selected-- an ice cream truck parked in front of the reception venue! Thank you, M&M Elite Events, for everything.

  Myriam and her assistant (Courtney) really took our vision and exceeded every expectation we ever had for an amazing wedding. Everyone loved the vision, design and the set up that her team created and brought to life. We hired her for full coordination including day of service. She was very helpful with the team of vendors she selected for us, made sure everything ran smoothly on the day of the wedding and kept all issues out of site and out of mind to ensure that my husband and I had an excellent night. I was pleased with her professionalism and her attention to detail. Hiring MM Elite Planning was essential and the BEST decision my husband and I made. They worked with the venue, catering, and other parties to ensure that our day went smooth. What I valued the most about working with Myriam is that if there were any mishaps or delays associated with our big day we were not made aware of it as Myriam and team covered all bases. Myriam and her team ensured that we truly had an amazing day without any worries or concerns leaving you with plenty time to have fun and spend time with friends and family. Prior to working with M&M Elite Events, I was overwhelmed and had a ton of questions and no one with a professional background to turn to. As I later found out, THERE ARE MANY MOVING PARTS TO PLANNING A WEDDING (MANY) and as I took on the task by myself I realized that I needed someone with the expertise that Myriam brings to the table. Although I only hired Myriam for the month of planning she was extremely attentive, and always stayed in touch. She would often check in with me and my now husband to see how we were doing and to provide any pertinent updates.
  Anyone wondering whether they should have a planner for their wedding please do not think twice and just do it and Myriam of M&M Elite Events is just the person for the job.

  Myriam made it possible for me to be a guest at our duaghter's wedding. Every detail was meticulously covered and every challenge met with creativity and invisibility. Her creative eye complemented my daughter's strong artistic background; the wedding was breathtaking!
  Myriam thought of the small details that made everyone comfortable. She was behind the scene and she covered it all . . . dishes with food for the bridal party as they got ready disappeared, inn staff contacted to "tidy up" ~ she did it all. I am indebted to her.

  Hiring Myriam as a day-of planner was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. We had originally planned to have a family member do some day-of coordination, but when it started to dawn on us how complicated things were going to be, we decided that we had better bring in a professional. Boy, were we glad that we did!
  
  Myriam's years of experience in event planning really shone through the entire process. She kept things organized and straightforward in advance of the wedding, ensuring that everyone knew where they needed to be and helping to avoid scheduling issues. Whether it was pinning boutonnieres on groomsmen, setting up our rehearsal dinner slideshow, or just reminding us where we put our hotel room keys, Myriam was on it. When a junior bridesmaid tore her dress minutes before the ceremony, Myriam was on it; in fact, we didn't even know that it had happened until the next day. Multiple guests and both our families commented on how smoothly everything seemed to be running, and without a doubt, that was in large part because of Myriam.
  
  Also, we had some surprises in store for our family surrounding our wedding. As it turned out, they also had some surprises for us. We loved doing this, but we were worried about making things difficult for Myriam, and of course we wanted to ensure that our secret would remain a surprise. Well, not only did Myriam keep our respective secrets flawlessly, but she helped us work out the logistics of unveiling the surprises to make them even better. And, at the end of the night, she even had a surprise for us of her own! Even as things got complicated and as problems arose, it was clear throughout the process that Myriam was really enjoying helping us. Because we knew that we could trust in Myriam's ability to make everything work, our day was even more fun and memorable than we expected!

  Our wedding day was on August 26, '17 - it was truly one of the best days of my life. and the day was beautiful, sunny no rain, nice and cool. we had an outdoor wedding at the Lyman estate in Waltham, MA. Not only was it a picture perfect day, we had a great crew to make sure everything run smoothly and seamless, thanks to M&M Elites. she worked well with all our vendors from flowers, to photography, to rentals. It truly was a great day for us. From the beginning, back in September '16, Myriam was helpful at helping us with our vision, budgeting. once my husband and I settled on our guest count and vision, things took off. Having a wedding planner was a must have for us due to our work schedule. But we soon realized as well, having someone with the expertise is the way to go as she had knowledge and connections to all vendors. All of our vendors were fantastic to work with. Our vision for our wedding was truly brought to life, it was as a dream come true. M&M Elites comes highly recommended

  Myriam from M&M Elite Events was lovely to work with. She was very personable, flexible and professional. She has great relationships and introduced us to wonderful vendors. She really understood our vision and helped bring it too life. She was fun and positive throughout the planning. We would suggest paying attention to budget as that wasn't a strong suit but overall we had a great experience.

  M&M Elite Events's reply:

  We love working with our clients with all their different ideas and range of budgets. However, as a planner, it is our job to bring to the client all information whether budgetary or design in a timely manner and let them make the ultimate decision. As much as we can advise on budgets and design, if unforeseen last minute changes occur that unfortunately have budgetary implications, we do everything in our power to negotiate lower rates with vendors to ensure that nothing is comprised in the overall vision and details of the day.

  Terminated our partial planning contract after working with Myriam for ~2moths which consisted of several missed deadlines, poor communication & lack of progress in planning for our August wedding. Myriam was very professional & polite throughout the process but I cannot recommend her services in good faith. My loss of the initial payment was worth my peace of mind.
